Background: I purchased a T Mobile Note 4 to use on AT&T. The root and unlock (cellunlock.net) went without any issues. I've been using it for 48 hours and everything running smooth. I decided to do a factory reset. Big Mistake!
At reboot, it is stuck on "Initiating System Update...." I can't go into stock recovery because it goes to "Initiating System Update..."
What can I do? Odin firmware my only option? I can still get to Download Mode.
Any help much appreciated.
Flashed firmware through Odin. All is well.

Hello,
I have weird problem with my Samsung captivate.
I install a new rom on my device and it work well for several hours buy than it suddenly stop to work.
After a reset my device get stuck on the at&t screen.
I entered the download mode and flashed clean rom with odin (and check the Master Clear option).
But it still get stuck on the at&t screen.
Is this can be hardware problem?
Is there any way to get the log file from the boot to find out what is the problem?
Hi everyone,
I've had numerous problems with OTA updates with my AT&T SM-G900A since I got it. I'm not in the US anymore and my phone was unlocked, so I thought "hey, how hard could it be" and tried to flash it.
I used the following binaries that were posted here a couple of days ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/g900aucs4cpa2-odin-files-em-hot-t3372388
I ran them through Odin3 3.09, and got a PASS - but the phone is stuck at the boot logo screen ("Samsung Galaxy S5 Powered by Android" screen).
Download mode still works, but normal booting, recovery booting and safe mode do not.
Any suggestions on what I could do?
EDIT: I used the stock image located here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2714455 to reflash it using Odin again. It seems to have worked, though all sorts of apps were crashing. I've just done a factory reset and am in the process of restoring it, but it seems promising for now. Never trying to update AT&T crap again.
Hey man, are you still having troubles? I just rooted my Sm-G900A, and then decided to use Odin to flash it with the 5.1.1 files. So this is what happened to me:
1: Flashed AP with the 5.1.1 file, passed but stuck at the Samsung Logo- Powered by Android.
2: rebooted into download mode and flashed "BL" or Bootloader with the 5.1.1 file and I got passed that screen. Now I'm waiting for it to optimize my apps.
My guess is after we flash the AP file we then have to flash the bootloader as well. So if you haven't tried that I'd suggest it to see what happens.
today my galaxy s6 att has just bootloop and stuck on att logo .. ...i have access to recovery mode and download mode only...i cannot get to safe mode...i beleve its a app which i install and when i try the ultra power saving mode the phone got stuck at 100% at changing the theme and i rebooted instanly and after that it started and it says starting apps and get stuck about 5 minutes and when i again try to reboot again it gets stuck on att logo....is there any way to get my data because my backup its old or to start the phone without wipe phone memory or factory reset..ps the android version is 5.1.1 baseband oi2 ..... any help appreciates
Power off. VolUp+Home+Power until you see the Android. Look for option to clear cache. If that fails, use same method and factory reset.

Hi guys,
So I had a stock T-Mobile LG G4 H811 that I had unlocked and booted into twrp version 3.1.1-1-g4. I wasn't able to actually flash recovery of this .img becuase of a write failure. So I booted into it instead and then installed it from within twrp into the recovery partition. The actual stock software was the ORIGINAL original, which I think was android 5.1.1
From there, I cleared the cache and delvik cache and installed the G4-H811-10N-xTreme-2.0 Rom. Now, I can't boot into recovery mode anymore, and all I get is the bootloop.. but it's not dead yet because it's a software issue on my part and not a hardware failure.
Any advice on how to get it to recovery mode or at least so I can boot into twrp somehow to try and get this fixed? I tried Power+Volume Down and then let go a sec and Power+Vol Down again and it won't work at all. Just goes straight to bootloop.
Thanks in advance.. I know I screwed up somewhere.. just so many loopholes, it's easy to miss.
Best,
Johnnie
Got somewhere, still broke
Well, somehow I managed to boot into recovery mode only 1 time and installed the stock Tmobile rom. It installed, but now I get a white T-Mobile screen on boot up and it stays there. I tried using the LG Flash Tool 2014 and the stock T-Mobile H811 10N firmware for T-Mobile, but all I get is connection to server errors and the software won't install to the phone over download mode. Anyone else have this problem? I've been trying to figure this stupid thing out for 6 hours. Also, I'm wondering if installing the stock firmware caused the original recovery partition to go back to stock too which is the reason I'm no longer able to boot into recovery mode? It just doesn't recognize it. Power+vol down and then vol down doesn't do anything.
When using the LG Flash Tool 2014, all I get is Connection to Server Failed, Try again. So I do, and nothing. It fails at 9%
Thanks.

I have an old galaxy note GT-N7000 which I still use and it’s rooted. Recently it has been giving me issues so I decided to do a factory reset which I thought would just fix everything. However, it just got stuck on the Samsung Galaxy note screen. It also only boots into download mode, not recovery mode & I have tried all the tricks and still it will not boot to the home screen.
I have downloaded a stock N7000 stock rom to flash back to stock, the Jodin program, including the pit file, but as soon as it connects and tells me to press start, all it says is running but does nothing. It will not allow me to flash anything.
Any idea why it’s stuck on the boot screen and how can I fix this? Should I have wiped something before doing a factory reset, as I don’t have a clue. Also if it’s best that I put a latest rom on it, I’ll be cool with it, as long as I can get it working again
Cheers for any help guys...
Thanks
