Exchange email issue - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anyone had issues with corporate email and Microsoft exchange. Earlier this week I started getting hundreds of outlook messages "Undeliverable Mailbox Migration". My IT folks scanned my computer, restored it from 2 weeks ago, then asked me to remove my phone email. I have scanned my phone with multiple highly ranked antivirus/malware apps and found nothing. I installed different email software ( Touchdown), no change. Once my phone connects I get dozens of the messages. The recipients outlook is reporting on are people I have never heard of. Anyone experience anything like this before?
Sent from my Moto X 2nd Generation

I am using the phone w/ Office365 and having no issues. Default e-mail app as exchange account and K9 as IMAP.

Strange e-mail Issue

I received an e-mail from a friend of mine today who is not listed as a contact. I replied to the e-mail which he received, no probs.
However, my device didn't store the e-mail in the sent items nor did it on the web server?!?
All folders are synced with what's online too. Is it because the contact isn't stored on the device or.....
Any help would be much appreciated.
I had that with a Windows Live email the other day, my connection dropped as it was sending. The person got the mail but I didn't have it in my sent items.
ok, anyone else experience this?
UPDATE:
It would seem that this is an imap issue with my service provider which I am hoping to prove later tonight by opening a new e-mail account with a different provider that I know works.
definately an imap issue with BT!!!

HELP: Pop3 messages disappearing

Hello,
I’ve been using the phone for few days now and I’m having some problems with my e-mail. I have configured three e-mails accounts, 1 Gmail and two pop 3 mails.
The deal is that whenever I use the e-mail app I can check new e-mails, but I can’t see the old messages (the one I read before). Also, alter seeing the messages in the SGS the messages disappear from the phone AND from my e-mail server. I already checked the configuration and I have selected “Never” in the “Delete e-mail from the server” in the “Incoming server settings” of both accounts but it looks like as soon as the e-mail apps access my account it actually deletes the message from the server.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks
Do they disappear immediately?
Are you sure you don't check them elsewhere (standalone computer) where they ARE removed from the server?
Don't have that issue here, only once I check them on my home computer they are removed from the server and my phone.
I'm sure. I was traveling, and the only way to chck my e-mail was using the phone. When I got home I tried to download the messages in the outlook and no messages were downloaded. Than I tried to acess the messages using webmail and again I couldn't fine the messages. They just disappeared.
Tried again with the same results. I read the messages on the SGS and 10 seconds later the message disappears from the phone and from the server (I tried to read the messages using a Webmail page and there is no message in the inbox).
Looks like a Bug, but it's strange that I'm the only one that is experiencing this issue. I recall that I had a similar issue with my Archos, but I thought it was a problem with Android 1.6. It may be a issue with my e-mail account but it is just a simple pop 3 account. I see no reason why it would behave like that.
pop3 email vanishes
I am having the same type problem with my samsung vibrant.I set up a pop3 account using my cable account. I can send and receive mail but my mail vanishes from the inbox. It does stay on the server luckily. Nobody at tmobil or samsung has a solution except to use k9 but it happens on it also/ So they blame isp which makes no sense since it arrives. Very frustrating

Email issue for new user

So far I am really loving my Windows Phone but I have little thing thing that is nagging at me. Has anyone noticed an inconsistency in email push. Has anyone else noticed this? I have my live, gmail, and exchange syncing and they are all set to sync when mail arrives. I've noticed it because I can get notified on my desktop that I have mail in exchange and sometimes my phone doesn't notify me until 15 minutes later.
I only use exchange (2010) and my phone normally get it before my desktop.

In some corporations (like mine) the Exchange Server has two separate instances -- one for the corporate network and one specifically for the mobile device support. Synchronization between the two servers is not instantaneous, so there can be delays (both ways) between when emails are received on each platform. Sometimes, the Activesync software (used to support the mobile devices) can introduce delays as well.

[Q] Native email problem

I am using the standard email application and am syncing 2 btinternet accounts and 1 gmail.
The problem i have is that on one of the btinternet accounts it keeps syncing old emails and notifying me that i have a 'new' email. If i they mark the email as read or delete it then when the app next syncs it brings up another old email and notifies me i have a 'new' email.
The other issue (and possibly why im getting this problem) is that it only shows the last 25 emails. If i click the load more then it does load more of them but it seems that after a couple of times syncing that i am them back with just the last 25.
Anyone know how to get over this or what the problem might be?
I know there are other apps available but actually i like the simplicity of the standard app. I have tried aqua mail etc but had different sync errors with that .

[Q] Droid Turbo deletes email off server

I have a Motorola Droid Turbo. When I delete an email on the cell phone, it also deletes that same email on my server. When I manually installed the email program I selected NEVER on deleting emails on server - automatic installation did not even give us that option. When I delete on the cell phone for a few minutes it is not deleted off the server, but after a few minutes the same email that was deleted on the Droid Turbo is also deleted on the server. I have MSN as my email provider. I have talked with Motorola, Verizon, MSN, Microsoft and they each say it's the other person's fault. How can I correct this situation. I also installed Outlook.com for my email and got same results as the original email provider. I did not have this problem with my Motorola Bionic cell phone. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Did you set your email up as a POP3 or IMAP account?
^^^^^ Sounds like the phone is connecting to the server via POP3. The phone then downloads the email and deletes it from the server.
Try deleting the email account from the phone and set it back up. Only this time set it up manually and be sure to use IMAP.
This is not a result of the phone, from my personal experience and fixing other's phones (work).
Why wouldn't you want it to sync on the server? In this day and age, if the email provider doesn't offer exchange....I'm not using it.
I've had customers in the past that are 'older,' got into emails with their aol email address and never changed off of it. I told them to try a gmail or something and just let the AOL forward to it. They loved it would begin updating everyone with their new email address. Resolves any issues with having to sync up their phone to their outlook and what not.
