How about some Lollipop apk's for ya ..... - LG G Flex

Here are some of the google lollipop 5.0 apks I pulled from my nexus 7 (2013). As well as a zip containing all the 5.0 stock apks. Zip is not flashable, just extract and use a root browser to manually copy and paste into system/apps folder only after you have uninstalled the one you are replacing.
As always make a backup before doing any of this. And I'm not responsible for what you do to your device.
I couldnt install all the apks but I got several of them to install.
Good luck.

[Q] How to Extract Files from stock ROM?

I've downloaded the update and tried to install it, but the update is failing on verifying the system, because it cannot find the Amazon MP3 app. I deleted it a while back!
I've downloaded the stock Froyo ROM so that I can find the files I need.
How do I extract the apk from the system.img file???
Thanks. Steve.

[4.3] 1/14/14 i537 AT&T OTA file

This is the .cfg file of the 4.3 OTA for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (i537) from AT&T on 1/14/14 for those who are unable to receive OTA because they are not on MF3. (The file doesn't download as a zip via OTA)
Using this on another device would likely cause problems so I wouldn't suggest it.
Also, I did not update because I want to keep root.
Instructions:
1) Download the .cfg file (links below)
2) Copy it over to your phone's internal storage
3) Using a root manager app like 'ES File Manager' or 'Root Browser', copy the .cfg file from internal storage to /data/fota
4) Make sure you have KNOXAgent.apk and wssyncmldm.apk in /system/app for this to take place. A lot of people either changed the name, deleted, or moved the apk for rooted purposes.
**If you replaced Knox and wssync, you MUST reboot for effects to take place since the odex tells the apk what to do on boot**<<
5) Go to Settings>More>About Device>Software Updates>Continue Update
OR the method below which worked for some people (I can't confirm this works or not)
1) Download .cfg file (links below)
2) Change file to a .zip
3) Copy to phone's external storage (the internal will get wiped)
4) Flash via regular recovery
MD5 for .cfg file: F43D00ABDC4FE4D5BFB305CC6598FEB3
If you run into any problems, I won't be much help since I'm not a dev.
REMEMBER! You will lose root with the update. Don't say you didn't know because the warning is here<<<<

Loading it to Google Drive right now. Bandwidth got capped on Dropbox, any suggestions for a place to upload it?
Would it be possible to get some help getting some stock files from the /system/app folder? I modded/removed a few of the stock apps and seem to have lost a big chunk of my original backups. I believe these apps are why the update fails for me as the updater script checks a bunch of the files SHA1 checksums. Seeing as on my phone these apps are missing or modded I figured if I could acquire the stock copies it may finally work.
Files I need, and corresponding odex if possible: (a full copy of the /system/app folder would be awesome if possible)
Blurb.apk
Chrome.apk
Flipboard.apk
Peel.apk
Phonesky.apk
PlusOne.apk
SamsungWatchON.apk
SecLauncher3.apk
I may also need "/system/media/shutdown.qmg" because I know at one time I had changed it, but I cant for the life of me remember if I put the original back
tried everything followed to a T n the option to continue the update is greyed out still
Won't work?
Continue update is still greyed out for me too...
I was on stock MF3 and rooted with activeroot only so I could copy this to the /data/fota folder.
Ditto with winters setup

Are you able to root with any method? It seems as though no one knows about rooting 4.3. This thread has a root method for the firmware leaked before official ota: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2606550 I really need someone to test it so I know if it's safe to go to 4.3.

AFAIK you don't need to have all of those to get the update going cause I have several of those deleted since I got the phone.

I'll load the .odex files for the .apk files that I have in post #2. Save your .odex files just in case and again idk if this would do any harm to your phone so yeah #noresponsibilities

you will lose root with the official OTA and so far there's no confirmation if SafeRoot method works.

Thanks AjC - Just to be clear, do I need these files for "Continue Update" to recognize the update file? I'm confused, I made no modifications other than root in order to access data/fota.

Yup, me too. Continue Update is grayed out, even after copy and setting full permissions.

Auto deodex L90 (d415) stock ROM

What is this: a CWM/TWRP-installable .zip of deodexed /system/app, /system/framework, and /system/priv-app folders from a FRESH stock LG L90 d415 (T-Mobile) ROM with SuperSU installed, and a script that will delete the .odex files in those directories before putting the deodexed .apk files to their directories.
I am not a developer and take as little credit for this as possible If you want to know why you'd want a deodexed rom, read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2200349
I used the following sources to make this package:
Kitkat Deodexer from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2725930
Stock ROM from here (my phone already has TWRP installed): http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/development/stock-rom-t2897683
After I installed the Stock ROM above, I let TWRP install SuperSU, then ran the Kitkat Deodexer.
Prerequisites for using this package:
an unlocked bootloader and CWM/TWRP installed.
A fresh stock d415 ROM that you want to have deodexed
Google Keyboard or another keyboard installed on your phone before flashing the .zip -- LG Keyboard does not like being deodexed, it would seem. You can get an .apk of Google Keyboard from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2312179. Once you reboot into the deodexed ROM, set Google Keyboard as your main input method.
Download link: http://d-h.st/6m4
I make absolutely no guarantees whatsoever. Backup your phone before installing this or any other package.

I thought you said that YOU made a flashable zip and flashed it. Don't ask me I don't know.
GL
Why don't you just head over to Google Play store, then download and install TB from there?
There are 2 ways. First you make a flashable zip. It's funny that you don't know how to do that, if you've already did that, but the method is to drag&drop the APK into proper folder. However remember that before doing that it should have the exact same name as the older version. And don't try to rename it in the zip later, because the zip won't be flashable anymore.
2nd method is you uninstall old titanium Backup and install a new one.

[Download][Screenshot] Cutom App Drawer Button/Animation

So I did this mod a while back on my nexus 5. Took me a while and few incorrect APK's were decompiled but I got it right this time. It's simply a custom app drawer icon replacing the stock image with a custom root pirate droid image. When pressed I added a blur effect/animation. Keep in mind I am on stock 6.0.1 rooted with Xposed. Not sure if it will work on custom roms but I think it should.
Instructions:
**make a nandroid backup. I am not responsible for any loss/damages you encounter while using this mod.**
1)Download base.apk
2)move apk to data/app.
3)set permissions to rw-r-r--
4)move apk to data/app/com.google.android.goglequicksearchbox-1
5) select the option to replace/overwrite the existing file.
6) an error notification will appear saying that the Google app has stopped working
7) ignore and reboot.
8) enjoy

Also, I never got into the habit of making flashable zips outside of using zip themer which unfortunately I don't believe is compatible with MM. If anyone can make a flashable zip for this mod and can post it here please do and I can go ahead and add it to the OP.
So the directory data/app/com.google.android.goglequicksearchbox-1 is not there on Dirty Unicorns, you wouldnt happen to know where i should put it on that rom would you?? I would be willing to try it out.

That's because this is for google now launcher. Im also on DU. I'll check, but it will probably be in velvet.apk
EDIT
ok, so I'm pretty sure the stock launcher for DU is Velvet.apk. with that being said you would need go decompile it, mod the images and recompile. If you want, I can do it for you and use the DU unicorn image to theme it toward the ROM if you'd like. I can post the apk here when finished.
