[Q] urgent problem !!!!!!

hello friends,
i have xperia x8 phone and it was very good till today, at first when i connected it to my pc via usb cable to transfer data from sd card as usual, it didn't work but only battery started to charge .. after that i charged it to 100% then i found that the battery drained the charge to 5% in approx. 30 mins, it is hot and it's not charging anymore neither from the wall charger nor the usb cable ..
can any one help me please ?​

are you sure it's a battery problem ?? transferring data via usb cable also doesn't work !

well battery drained to 5% in 30 minutes then surely its battery problem....& its not even charging with external charger as u said

is it really battery problem?? , this actually happened to me sometime because my PC USB port doesn't work properly ,, i got UMT with my X8 disconnected ,, however , the battery sign shows charging but the real thing is the battery is draining like h*ll (2x) !! ..

i'm not sure (one of my friend said its the cable issue),,.. i tried this,, let it drain until 0% , then recharge normally with charger , i got it work for sometime,,, then it happen again when i connect to the PC..

Drain your battery until it shutdown and charge your phone fully without turning on your device and goto CWM,advanced and wipe battery stat and rebbot your phone continue charging to 100%.
Or
Use universal charger for charge your battery
Or
It may be the problem from the current custom ROM so undo back to fresh eclair 2.1 or try other ROM
Or
Maybe the problem of the cable try another cable
Or
Buy a new battery
THERES SOO MUCH WAYS TO TROUBLESHOOTING!

i tried another battery, also it didn't charge and it drained the charge very quickly
i made restore to my last well worked rom, also nothing changed
i have to mention that the usb cable i used last time i felt electricity at it's end, so i can guess that there may be a problem with the charging socket ..
any way thank you every one for help

"urgent help required charging issue"

MY cell does not getting charge i have two chargers tried both but same result.
it connect nd charge upto a certain level lik 5 or 8 % thn auto disconnect from charging which meanz charging port is all gud bcoz when its starting charging it will never stop even shake my cell...
dnt knw wa to do,, :'( :'( :'(
any suggestions?
also getting this issue for 1st time,,,even before i havnt issue lik tht or lose charging port.???

not with a pc as well,,,same lik charger

nop even i think i just cleean it up last time..

yap same result,,,its just conecting nd disconecting continusly,,

nop i was talking abut the chanrging port of cell on which we plug charger with tha phone,,,tht lose it up,,,,so i just puch it lil bit with soft hands,, tht worked for me,,

Weird.. Altho it makes sense since that is the most delicate piece of the phone

hey urm.. u mean up to certain level it stp right? it might be software related... if u root then try batery calibration in playstore.. it will reset those batery data.. or maybe becos USBconnectivity.apk?? is it related?

bro i also thought it was a software problem but then i finaly comes up with a hard problem,,,might b my charging port in the cell is get lose...so

[Q] red light and vibrating 3 times when charge on wall charger

Hi everyone! Im a newbie here! And i hope someone could help me
up, i hava a xperia z who doesnt start up eventually when i looked
up on it, then when i connected it to wall charger its just showing re
light led and vibrating 3 times and repeating like that with 4-6 secs
interval, i also tried volume up plus power button, but nothings
happened,even booting up, it doesnt, i also tried unplugging the
battery connector at the back of the xperia Z, then open it, nothing
happened, but when i tried to connect my phone without connecting
the battery it can be read by the computer, and can be connected as
flashmode and fastmode, but when i connect the battery, it cannot
be read again by the computer, what could be the cause of the
problem? Is it the battery? Software? Or the motherboard? Pls. Help
me, as i love this phone so much.. Pls pls...

I have similar Problem with a XPERIA Z also there .
I received it in dead condition , so I removed the battery to charge it directly .
not effect , without battery the phone is detected and can be flashed By SE-updater .
but with it phone keep vibrating and red led . I put back battery on direct charger ! let's see result

huum shortage ! mine still show normal voltage and polarity when I check with Multimeter ..
When I kept it long time on charge after direct charged the Batt , it discharge the battery a bit . maybe you r right 0. let's know more

well my idea is because the phone is not recognise by the computer while the battery is in, so the battery is connect to the USB.
If he disconnected the battery it does work because it recognised by the computer . which is strange That why I am pretty sure is shotage!
Secondly make sure your cable is in proper condition. That is becasue if the cable is damage ( or it has low diameter) it will have too high Ohm which make the usb goes "over the limit", as a result the hub of the computer will disconnect the device !

will help the water restance,
BTW, next to the usb ther is a water check, if it white = no water,; purple, red= water inside the phone. Check that as well please!
What about the usb cable ? Are you using orginal one ?

Are you sure, I would not do that . Since those devices are very sensitive, and fragile to exposure to over voltage or to high ohms? Well +/-10% at the highest

after direct charged phone . I put back battery and plugged charger .
surprise Phone shown Sony logo about 3 times , and turn off . now it's blinking red led and vibrate .
I will leave it on charge during a moment to see .

Battery was at 25%. Phone crashed & turned off and battery was at 0%. Why?

if ur phone rooted make ur battery fully charge in off sate ...turn on...keep ur charger connected then download battery calibration app and calibrate then let it be fully drain....hope ur problem will solve this

Battery stay at 0 and wont charge

My phone's battery is stay at 0 and dont charge and if it not plug in charger it turn off.i do reset factory, calibrate battery and change cable and charger but problem not solved

turn your phone off and charge it when phone is completely off
else if(not work )
change your rom/modem
else
bad news , your phone need hardware support
