I Have a Moto G 2014(Dual Sim), Primary Sim i'm using for voice calls and the secondary for data.
The Secondary Sim is a Multi Sim(data and voice sharing upto 5 sims Carrier: du_dubai)
So I need to block all incoming calls on the secondary sim. I heard about root call blocking, But i don't want to root it now. Any Other solution.
I think the data sim needs to be the slot 1.

No that's a common misconception any SIM can go in any slot but only one of the SIMs can connect to 3G at any one time, check your Dual SIM Settings if you tap on 'Mobile Data' (not the on/off toggle) it asks which SIM to use for data.
I had a motorola razr d3 xt920 and just the slot 1 uses 3g. The slot 2 just 2g.

Nope, I use 3G on slot 2. Can't use 3G on both the slots at the same time but any slot can be used for 3G.

While I'm waiting for my new 4g sim from att in using my 5yr old sim cut with my trusty kitchen knife..
It worked fine for voice but only registered the 4g apn which did not work (always thought the sim was simply a dumb number storage) ... So i manually typed the 3g cingular apn that registers on my old phone with the same Sim.
It worked. I do get data. But the data icon show "E" next to it...
Anyway to get gprs?

Hi Guys,
I have a Note 8 and I had it sim unlocked thru an online service. I was a bit dissapointed when I found out that I was only able to use my sim 1 as call and text only like the sim 2 slot after the unlock and I could not use it for data 4G. The tech guy from the sim unlocking service told me its with the software of my phone from the original carrier that has not allowed me to use data on 2 sim slots except its original carrier. Can anyone please help me how to fix and enable 4G to work on either yhe 2 sim slots?
Thanks very much!
I don't think that is carrier related at all, even my unlocked/international version only allowed 2g/3g in the second sim slot

Check that your APN settings are correct for your provider.
I would imagine sim 1 would allow 4g from any carrier as long as you have a 4g sim card/plan
I have a t mobile 960U. Shouldn't I have wifi calling even without a sim card, if I'm connected to wifi? My note 4 has a check box for wifi calling in settings and works without a sim card. I haven't figured out how with my new phone.

No, wifi calling requires a sim card.

It's a carrier feature that starts the call on Wi-Fi but still routes through their network. You need a Sim to use it.
Unless....you use T-Mobile Digits app. this will let you use your number on a NON SIM phone.

hi
mine is a n960f/ds
just discovered today, when i was in a phone call, there was no internet connection. i've tested 5 times but no luck
i have set phone calls to sim 1 and internet to sim 2 as attached, and i am sure i made the calls with sim 1
how can i make a phone call with sim 1 while still have internet connection in sim 2? i am still on pie
please kindly suggest.
thanks
On a dual sim phone you of course have 2 sims but you can only use one actively at a time. So your data would have to be set on the same sim that you are using (making a call on) if you want it to work.

Hello,
Does Oneplus support Wifi calling using cellular data of 2nd SIM ?
Instead of putting the 2nd sim card in a different mobile and enabling hotspot to use the Wifi calling, can I just put the 2nd SIM card in the same mobile oneplus 10 and still be able to use wifi calling for 1st SIM using the cellular data of 2nd SIM

I'm pretty sure ..No.. because you actully need a sim card in to enable wifi calling . No setting come up for the one without Sim in it.

Actually the SIM will be in, and wifi calling will be enabled, no issue here
My question: Does Oneplus support Wifi calling using cellular data of 2nd SIM or it will only work in wifi connection
When I travel I don't like to use the roaming for my main SIM card but I need to make and receive calls so usually I try to get a local sim card and use it in another mobile and open hotspot to connect my first mobile so I can use the wifi calling for my main SIM.
If I put the new sim card in the same mobile oneplus 10 will wifi calling work in the main SIM by using the cellular data of 2nd SIM
I know this is working in some other phone like google and Samsung and some time it is called backup calling
but I don't know if it will work in oneplus 10
