Hello:
I've noticed that when I have xposed installed (only have xtorch, greenify and no volume warning) it breaks functionality of my note 4's privacy mode. Any fix for this?

Hello all;
I just got my Tmobile Note 4 this week and updated to stock lollipop right away. I came from Canadian GS5 which has both the LED light options (for low battery, voice recording, etc...) as well as Notification Recommended Apps for earphones when my headphone is plugged in. I see that stock Tmobile Note 4 lacks both of these (there is simply a check box to enable / disable LED light all together). Is there any way we can enable these features? Must I root and risk tripping Knox?
TIA.
Hello! what i need to do if i have problem with camera? only change to another phone? maybe its software problem? can i change camera module from galaxy s6 to note 4 ?
Honestly, get a replacement. I went through 4 of them to finally get one that doesn't have the issue. As for the swapping the camera module with an S6 one, there's a guy doing that very thing right now. I don't remember what thread I saw it under but he has reported that auto focus does not work at all and has to be manually done. So you'll just be in the same boat plus you would have to mod the camera housing and solder a new ribbon connector as it's not long enough.

Didnt focusing, need to wait 30 seconds
Have you tried just hitting it? you can flick the hell out of the camera area to try and get the rollers unjammed if that's the issue. Here is what's inside there if you're curious whats causing the issues. That or your electromagnetic stage might not be working properly. Yeah I can't get S6 optics to focus yet, I'm going to manipulate an S6 ribbon cable and run it in a test setup just to see if my tinkering is what's messing up auto focus or if the module just will not work in the note 4 at all without software tweaks.

When I had my Moto device before, I used GravityBox as my primary module in Xposed and it worked great. Since upgrading to the Galaxy S6, GravityBox does not work (not compatible with TouchWiz)
I've gotten most of what I need out of the Wanam module for Galaxy devices, although it badly needs to be updated for the S6 family. However, there is one GravityBox feature I miss more than anything: Use the proximity sensor to prevent screen wake. With the Home button on the S6 being slightly raised above the screen, it's very easy to wake the phone in my pocket. This mod would hook into the process of waking the screen and cancel it if the proximity sensor detected something near it.
Is there anyone up to the challenge of porting this feature in its own module and make it compatible with the Galaxy S6 and Note 5 stock TouchWiz roms?

I think Wanam Xposed module will work with Touchwiz ROM
I already mentioned that in the first post. Wanam Xposed does not have the feature I'm looking for, and while it is built for TouchWiz, it doesn't work 100% on the Galaxy S6.
Just curious why someone hasn't been able to rip the Active Display or Moto Actions software/code and reproduce it as an xposed module that can be used on other phones. I get that battery drain might be an issue on phones that don't have a secondary processor for handling gestures/movement/etc... but at least to have the option to try it out would be nice?
Is there some reason this hasn't been done successfully?
Hello,
I havent' posted anything here in years, so I'm out of touch with the latest on this forum. Ever since I got my Note 8 (International unlocked dual-SIM model), my GPS stopped working after the first week. I know this is a Samsung thing, so I lived with it.
Now my accelerometer stopped working mysteriously, and I'm already on the latest firmware which should have fixed the GPS issue (but it didn't).
When I do the hardware test (*#0*# from the dial screen) it shows no movement in the roll, pitch or yaw axis and the same for the magnetometer). I've done numerous reboots, and toggles of the auto-rotate feature of the phone, but the issue is still the same. Other than a factory reset, what other troubleshooting steps can I take?
Perhaps there is a toggle in Developer Options or in Quick Settings that you accidentally switched?
I'm saying this because Stock Android 12 has a "Sensors off"-QS Toggle that disables sensors on the phone ^^
But... I don't remember the Galaxy Note 8's software having such a button...but just throwing this out there
Thanks for your reply. I had checked for such an option. I even disabled Developer Options altogether.
I did the Samsung hardware test (*#0*#), and neither the accelerometer nor the compass moved.
