Maybe I'll be able to download the htc YouTube on your optimus!!! Vey excited to find out what happens for you!,
Interesting. One question. How do you go to bootloader mode on Samsung or LG WP7 phones?
I´m stuck with T-Mobile and would prefer to use the generic HTC Europe ROM, to me it sounds like this should be the way to do it.
I just started to extract but got stuck in the middle, I guess I´m using the wrong tools
"Input file '02_OS.nb.payload' has no valid boot sector! Aborting."
I think it´s where I use NBSplit that I get it all wrong, since I´m quite new to this I used:
NBSplit.exe -kaiser 02_OS.nb
I´ll look around the forums some more for more information or a newer tool.
/Claws
That's a really clever way to do it, well done ansar. I wonder, does this work for only HTC devices, or other manufacturers' bootloaders/images too?
edit: Sorry, I don't mean these actual NBHs, but rather the method used....
Please ansar can u create a rom using tmobile original rom with europe imgfs.bin inside so I can have french language? I have 3 sets of tmobile usa hd7 to put french language. thanks for ur great job.
So how would I flash my o2 device to the Htc euro rom?
can someone reupload the rom's to something not limited for Pro (payed) users
Remove the s from https and you can download them.
/Claws
So should this rom work on any HD7?
RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_Mondrian_WWE_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_by_ansar
Or do i have to take the o2.bin and put it into the wwe?
ansar.ath.gr said:
Dear forum members,
I successfully created and flashed the following two (2) WP7 ROM nbh images for the HD 7 device branded as Htc Europe.
- The first using the imgfs.bin from the Mondrian ROM, not sure of what branded device that can be downloaded from here:
.. Download link: https://rapidshare.com/files/437677...WE_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_by_ansar.zip
- The second using the imgfs.bin from the
.. RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_SEA_WWE_1.57.728.02_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE.exe
.. This ROM is branded for South-east Asia (Singtel).
.. Download link: https://rapidshare.com/files/437702...WE_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_by_ansar.zip
This proves that the imgfs.bin can be used from any branded device to any other branded device.
Only the imgfs.bin is replaced, all other as Radio, SPL and XIPs remain the initial of:
RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.60.401.01_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE.
Flashing is as simple as that:
Set the device in boot loader mode, connect it to your laptop/PC with a USB cable and double click on the provided ROMUpdateUtility.exe
Follow the on screen instructions as usual.
I hope a custom ROM it won't be so long.
Regards, ansar.

No, for that WGA has to be bypassed. For which there is currently no (public ) method.
Hi guys!
Great NEWS!!
Any of you can make some link to "download for newbbies" to install a clean rom multilanguage to other devices?
I have AT&T Surround in english and I could really use a multilanguage rom from hd7 for example, if I can keep the 3G bands from the surround (850/1900mhz).
thanks!
you ROCK!
Agustin
Can't download the ROM's

Ok.. Added hotfile , which in my opinion the most stable..
Thanks man!
But I have some unanswered questions:
1. Do I have to SIM Unlock first?
2. I'm currently on KK8 Kernel (not rootable)
3. I would like to gain Root access only, I don't want to change my current factory ROM.
Is this possible with your guide?
Thanks!

Thanks but that doesn't work unless you are Rooted first!
My initial concern was if it's safe to root (and install a custom rom) on a Note prior to have it unlocked (through an online unlocking service for example)
Anyone?
Thanks tho...

First lets take a look at the different sections in Odin where we can insert files and what these sections represent:
• PIT This is for .Pit files you will just need to utilize this if a firmware redesign needs to change your partition layout or on the off chance that you mess up you partition table.
• Bootloader This is for new bootloader, be that as it may I have never known about this being utilized or ever needed to utilize it myself so again allow this segment to sit unbothered
• PDA This is the file where the system is really actually and its name alludes to the version of the software.
• PHONE This is for the file that contains the modem.

thread says note 4, and its in the note 4 section of the forum. first post mentions G910F and G910G
So i'd say no - these are NOT for the note 3.
Does any one know when note 4 will be supported by mobile Odin?

Bad Gateway error message.
Lets start with credit, Thanks to @Claritea for sharing this firmware which helped in fixing my Honor play with random config/display in about phone section.
I had a honor play with locked bootloader but it was garbled, in the sense, about phone section was messed up, there were lines on home screen and as it was demo version, I wouldn't be getting update on this phone but @Claritea helped me fixing this phone.
I had this in my about phone section (and bootloader was locked)

For Update ready file
1. Extract the files to your pc.
2. For the hw_spcseas_COR-L29 folder, you will get these files:
3. On your Flash Drive, please create a folder and name it “dload”.
4. Copy the update_sd.zip and the update sd.zip.asc and then paste it to the dload folder in the Flash Drive.
5. Once you finished pasting the files, connect your Flash Drive to your Phone, and go to the Dialer, and type *#*#2846579#*#*. You will get something like this:
6. Tap the “Software Upgrade”.
7. Tap the “SDCard Upgrade”, and then choose “OK”.
8. Wait for the phone to finish updating.
9. Once it finishes, you will need to sign in your Google Account for verification.
10. After the phone boot, you will see that the Build number changed. We can now proceed with the 2nd flashing.
Main firmware file-
*NOTES:
- Please make sure that you have done the 1st Flashing Procedure.
- Please delete the dload folder that we previously used in the Flash Drive.
1. Extract the files to your pc.
2. Open the Cornell_L29A_8.2.0.101_C636CUSTC636D1_Firmware_Android_8.1.0_EMUI_8.2.0_050 folder, and look for the folder named “Software”.
3. Once you open the “Software” folder, you will see another folder named “dload”.
4. Copy the whole “dload” folder and paste it to your Flash Drive.
The second update will take more time to finish as it is flashing the full firmware.

I am trying to convert my recently converted Honor Play COR-L29(C636) to C432. Earlier this device was COR-AL00(C675) which I converted to L29(C636) by your guide. My main purpose for this was to get Widevine L1 which is available on the Europe version. I have learned that C432 does have Widevine L1 and would like to attempt the very same by flashing the first dload(which changes build number to Chipset Botson) and then flash this file (Huawei Honor Play COR-L29 Cornell-L29A 8.2.0.101(C432CUSTC432D2) Firmware Android 8.1.0 EMUI 8.2.0 05015FUC androidhost.ru). I'm flashing (8.2.0.101) because it worked the first time for AL00 to C636. If there is any help or caution you can provide then please do so.
