Coming from the Galaxy S series, I'm used to swiping/rejecting call. I notice that the Galaxy Note 4, there are indicators to swipe or reject calls when someone is calling but swiping is not required. On the Note 4, just pressing the accept or reject button does the job but was wondering if there is some option I'm missing to accept/reject calls by swiping like how it's on the Galaxy S series. It's odd that there is arrow indicators to swipe and sometimes I accidentally hit the button when pulling the phone out my pocket (prefer swipe to answer).
There is an option to turn that off.

I would like this function to work with a button as I never use the stylus. This option starts a call note when on a call and you pull out the stylus.
thanks
Is there anyway I can turn off screen timeout during a phonecall? It's really annoying when I hit end to end the call but it actually only turns the screen on and I have to hit end again... I would rather have the screen stay on during calls and hitting end (either the physical button or the on screen end, but in this case, probably the on screen end) to end the call. Are they're any apps on the market or any patches for ROMs (I'm rooted running a custom ROM) that I can get to achieve this?
Thanks
i would also love to be able to do this. Toggle would be good for this setting too. When I am on conference calls , I typically use a Bluetooth headset. Therefore I need the screen to stay on to control mute, etc. But when I am using the phone up to my ear screen timeout would be desirable so that i don't accidentally press buttons.
Verizon Moto X (Android 4.4.2)
When I am on a call (incoming or outgoing) and the screen sleeps afrer the sleep timeout, how can I get the in-call controls like speakerphone, mute button, number pad back?! Moving the phonea around to trigger the proximity sensor doesn't work, clicking the power button ends the call. What am I missing? This is extremely frustrating when on a long conference call where I need to mute and unmute.
Help? Thanks

Frankly, I usually have my phone to sleep after 30 minutes because I always shut off the screen with the power button, so there's that option.
Phone is on Android 8.0. It was working fine until about a week ago. I think the system update did something to the phone.
The only way to answer the call is to swipe down notification bar and tap on it then tap Answer. When the phone screen is off, nothing comes up on screen but the phone is ringing. Anyone else experienced this before?
I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to have incoming calls Pop up over the whole screen, and not just the top 3rd of the screen. This happens especially when using audible. The screen doesn't bring up the call and there is no notification. I've tried finding it in settings but can't. Any recommendations? I have a Verizon note 9. But the calling settings seem limited.
