This is because of new security features introduced in KitKat. Read/write access is limited with out using some kind of patch or fix. You can patch/fix the issue with Xposed framework and a module named "KitKat SD Card Full Access". I also use two other modules, "XInternalSD" and "HandleExternalStorage".

And what in carbonRom how too did this move apk to SD?

or if you want you can always partition your SD Card and use Link2SD.
Another way is to Swap internal with external using scripts
Link2sd only moves apps themselves. But not their data files wich you have to had on sdcard.

Xperia z idea for install to sd card

Hellow guys , I was thinking about the issue that xperia z cannot transfer apps to sd card without partition and staff like that. I was thinking if we can programm the rom to have all 16gbs as system memory and mount as internal sotrage the sd card?
Theres already a way for that but its for 4.1.2. If you can make it work with 4.3, that will be good.

Any Help? :(Rooted z1 LB now I Have a Dead SD Card

Recently rooted my z1 by NUT's method to the latest fw.I was really enjoying it suddenly this problem appears.First i copied some apk files to my SD card but recognized they dont show up in file commander or another file manager.I thought it might be because i use sd fix and folder mount programs to copy my games to SD card in kitkat. Now i have an SD card i cant read or format.
Is it working on PC?

Nothing works.I tried to format the SD on my pc in different ways eg. disc management but my effords seem to be non-sence.I guess both the SD card and internal storage of my phone turned to RAW format itself.I repaired z1 by pc companion so no more root and i feel very upset for that Internal storage now works fine but looks like my one day used SD is gone for good
So, it's dead I think. Test it on other phone, maybe this will help.

Try to format your card with this application on PC (no quick), if you still have problems then your card is dead.

I managed to format it in another pc so the next thing was formatting my pc But i tried to use it again for rooting my device but i wasnt recognised at TWRP.So i used another one to complete flashing an then put it to the device, erased all data in storage settings now it looks fine but i amm too afraid to use Folder Mount again but its features are as exactly as i want. What should i do ?

Can't mount internal SD

I just flashed tonyp's CM10.2 clean rom and I have an issue. I can't mount my internal sd card. when I go to storage it only sees my internal storage and external sd. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Try to get off the sd and pull it back but slowly not with power :d

Is it accessible from recovery? If not try repartitioning, and if yes, try searching on the forum if anyone else has faced this issue before

Swap internal memory and external card on Xperia zr Lollipop 5.1.1??

Hi,
Anybody know how to swap internal memory and sd card in 5.1.1 on xperia zr . Because internal memory is low in 5.1.1 update. :crying:
Thanks in advance..:good::good:
Doing that is dangerous, and should not be done if you have any other alternative. I would suggest using a combination of FolderMount and Link2SD instead.
If you still want to swap them... In not aware of any guide specifically for our device, but I think I did see one a while back for all devices in general. Search Google/xda for it, and if you find it, don't do it unless you're sure you can handle what they're asking you to do, and that you can reverse it.
