Anyway to get rid of the brightness slider? - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyway to get rid of the brightness slider in settings or xposed module? I know on the note 3 the option to toggle the brightness slider on and off was in system settings under notification panel. But for the life of me I can't find it on the note 4. Anyone?

I second this! You could also turn it off in the Note 2, but there doesn't seem to be a away on the Note 4. I'm sure there is xposed framework, but I'm not rooted yet.

Touch Lollipop statusbar without triggering notification shade?

Hello again,
there is another thing which bugs me in Lollipop, and perhaps one of the hardworking Xposers has a solution
When I touch the status bar, always the notification shade pops out and the rest of the screen darkens, regardless of where I touch the status bar.
This is markedly different than in previous Android versions, and it makes certain actions impossible or at least awkward:
- I want to set brightness by sweeping along the status bar (an old Samsung stock feature which is enabled in other devices by Gravitybox Xposed module). If the notification shade pops out, I can't see how bright the screen now is, because it is darkened when notification shade is activated...
- I want to use statusbar gestures (in "Gesture Navigation" Xposed module).
Is there a Xposed module which restores the old behavior (i.e., notification shade is only activated when pulling down finger from statusbar)?
Or a possibility to set some values in system files oder something like that?
Thanks in advance,
Hasenbein
No one an idea?
The app "Pin Tasking" is able to reserve one third of the status bar for its own swipe gesture (which but can only trigger the app's own actions), so what I want is definitely possible...
For all who are interested in this issue:
At least with Serajr's "Xperia Xposed" module it's possible to swipe along the status bar for setting brightness without the screen darkening.

[Q] Mods that can be done on Rooted S6

Now that I have rooted my S6 I want to fix some niggles that I have with the S6. I want to remove the persistent notification for wifi, I want to remove the volume warnings, the prompt when toggling airplane mode, have vertical settings, uninstall all ATT and Samsung bloatware and change the color of the notification bar. Any tips on how to fix these niggles with a rooted s6?
i would love to be able to turn off pop out view.... i hate when i swipe down from a corner, it puts it in the window mode

Hidden status and nav bar after T-Mobile update

Just took the ota and now I'm on lyz28j. I notice that the notification and soft buttons hide and I can't find a setting to disable it. Is this a new feature in lollipop?
I flashed the full LYX28J image because I use TWRP and I'm rooted. I still have the normal notification bar which does not hide except for full screen video. Soft buttons sometimes hide, but like they always have. Are you using the standard launcher? With Nova I can hide the notification bar.

Oneplus 3T Heads up not working

Hi, I bought my Oneplus 3T, and I have a problem that I also had with my Oneplus One. When I switch off vibrations my heads up dissappeared. The solution I found for my OPO was with a Custom Rom, activating the new Nougat priority feature. The problem is that this feature is not available in Oxygen OS, is there any solution to solve the problem?
I am not sure if this is the exact same issue or not but I did a search and this came up first. Anyway, I noticed I wasn't getting heads up notifications for gmail or textra. The icon would show in the status bar but it would not peek (show the message for a couple seconds with the option to reply). Anyway, I enabled System UI tuner by long pressing on the gear icon when you pull down the notification shade. Then when system ui tuner is enabled scroll to the bottom of your settings and go into system UI tuner. In there enable power notification controls under "other". Now you can go into any app's notification settings and turn peeking on. These are the app system settings located at Settings>apps>gmail (or whatever app you want). By default on my phone gmail and textra were set to "application controlled" (or something similar) which doesn't allow peeking. I just pushed it up a notch which allows peeking or heads up notification and now when I get a notification it will show up on top for several seconds and I can choose to reply whatever.
I am running OOS 4.0.3

Notification panel like Miui

Is there a rom that has notification panel that shows the settings button and brightness slider on the first swipe just like in Miui? The settings button is on the top right, while the brightness slider is below the quick toggles.
If not, is there a way to tweak the notification panel to make it look like Miui?
you have the playstore app. Miui notification bar, and the voluMIUI (paid) for it.
but its on the bottom, as an overlay. So no, I've asked this too. sadly, could find it.
Thanks, I'll look in the play store.
