i8190n Baseband unknow and IMEI Null,no rooted.only ap & csc,no cp. Help me, please!
Hi guys,
i've a samsung galaxy mini s3 with a problem: it's not read the sim card and contacts. It's imei null/null and baseband unknow.
with *#1234# it show ap and csc, no cp.
Imei, imeisv are unknows.
i've had it so in original condition: recovery stock, firmware stock and counter 0. I know that it's not rooted . I believe it's never been rooted.
I've reflash with odin the same firmware stock brand Vodafone but nothing is changed. After restored to factory reset not wipe cache, but how to fix it?
Help me! i've not a box!
if there's not cp, it's a hardware problem or software? Peoples's the same problem , cp is xxx . is it right?
thanks!
p.s.: it's not recognized by kies: after that i write model and s/n, for update the firmware, a message appears "gt-i8190n's not supportes the initialitation". Instead, if i confirm upload software by device, then device' registration , it shows "warning operation is not runned!"
up!
please help me!
Hi there,
Is it possible to change the CSC of my note9 SM-N960F from Australia (XSA) to Singapore (XSP)? I believe both are part of the multi CSC OXM firmware but there's little information on how to go about changing the CSC.
So far I've tried the following 2 methods but unfortunately, I'm still stuck on the XSA CSC.
Method 1:
- Power off the device
- remove the sim tray.
- Go to recovery , HOLD bixby button + Volume up together , and power up
- In recovery , chose factory reset .. This will give a warning and then reset everything
- Choose power off , in the recovery and insert sim tray .. you should do this before booting up as your CSC will be configured when you will start
- Power on the phone , wait and . then chose restart to system now when asked
- wait and after reboot. CSC remains unchanged
Method 2:
*#272*IMEI# to change CSC but I'm getting the "connection problem or invalid MMI code"
any input would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have tried the solution in post #67 but my CSC is still XSA. Is it possible to just download the XSP OXM firmware and flash via odin without tripping knox?
at this time i'm unable to make a working N960 CSC file with only one CSC ( noboby is able to signe CSC file ) and as combination file don't work for this device the only solution is to find a working secret code
sorry and regards

METOD TO CHANGE CSC (tested on N960FD) Install this rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-9/development/rom-galaxy-project-t3911947 choose csc. then you can come back to your rom, I came back because I like a lot of modifications but this rom is also nice. After this operation It should be good. it helped me. I had CSC BTU samsung and I could not change the method, I did not try with the combination rom because I did not want to play like that. I know that some roms have options to choose the csc at installation and I have used it.
I hope I helped

I read that you take a pit-file - why?
Did you take this firmware?

Where do you see your CSC?

I see my CSC in Settings/Telephone - informations (I'm translating from polish it may be diferent named in english, it's last card on the bottom of Settings)/Firmware informations - there I can see CSC
About 10 minutes ago I have resolved the issue.
I have inserted different sim card (from my work) and CSC has changed to XEH/XEH/XEO/XEH.
Then I switch SIM to second slot and CSC become XEH/XEO/XEO/XEH.
Then I did factory reset and now I have XEO/XEO/XEO/XEH
Bottom line instaling new firmware doesn't automaticaly change CSC. You need to insert SIM card to one slot, then to second slot and then do factory reset.
I hope this could help others.
Edit:
Not every SIM card will change CSC. If you have trouble try different SIM card preferably from different operator.
This post was published over 4 year ago, and now I encounter this issue too!
My phone is SM-N960N, and I did flash the corresponding firmware with .pit for multiple times with original system unchanged (CSC code: KTC). What's more, I just got this phone last night!
Does the computer OS itself cause this issue? I promise that Samsung USB driver is well installed.
Hello everyone, i have some problems. I instaled with Odin android 10 for DBT, over my TOP firmware (SERBIA VIP), everything works fine, but i ended with BTU CSC. I tried with SamKey to change CSC, but it gave me error "AT RIL file not found, try reinstaling SamKey". Tried to reinstall, but it gave me same error. What is the solution for this? Please help!!
Hi I have two Note 9 phones.
One is has the OXM firmware SM-N960FZKDSEE (BOOTLOADER: N960FXXU9FUK1 CSC: N960FOXM9FUK1) but the active SCS is SEE and I'd like to switch to ILO or similar to enable native call recording. I can see with the Phone Info that ILO is in available CSC codes.
I tired the *#272* and similar codes, but none work on my phones.
Is there a way to change the CSC without samkey?
The other phone is SM-N960FZBDSIM.
I've read that it should be possible by flashing a combination file and new CSC frmware and using odin and realTerm, but I'm completely at a loss as to what combination file to use and what firmware.
Please advise!
Thank you!
