I had a problem with my phone microphone.
everything seems to be working perfectly fine with im on headset mode. People can hear me on their mobile.
But when I put on my loudspeakers I can only hear them talking and they cant hear me.
I've tried wiping cache, dalvik and deleting my whole system and still doesnt fix it.
Previous rom i used was *C-rom 4.4.4 7.1* and switched to *SOKP 4.4.4*
Problem remains..
I hope everyone can help me out with this problem

I just installed the latest Avatar rom for Bionic yesterday.
I did a factory reset, wiped the cache and Dalvik cache, everything seemed to work fine (except weebo).
Today I called somebody and I put the phone on speaker and he could not hear me. Turn off the speaker, it's ok.
I called another 2 people, same thing.I could hear them just fine, but they could not hear me while the speaker was on.
When using Skype, speaker is working properly, I can hear the other person and he can hear me as well.
Any idea what it can be?

Some days ago my Note begin to have some strange comportament.
Only when I make a traditional telephone call I can't hear and other person can't hear me, all mute. But whit speaker I hear other person, but he doesn't hear me.
The microphone works well (registration works perfectly), and also the speaker, so we can exclude an Hardware issue.
With other programs like Skype all work great.
The telephone was whit stock firmware (2.3 updated), so I decided to upgrade with Kies to 4.1. The problem remain!
I try with a factory reset, but nothing change.
So I decided to flash another rom, like CM11 and MIUI, but the problem also remain quite the same!! Now I can hear the other people, but he doesn't hear me.
It's so curious.
I can't realize if is a Hardware or Software problem.
Any ideas?

Same here. Randomly people won't hear my voice or hear it "far away". I always hear fine. On speaker trouble goes away. Microphone runs OK in every other app than stock telephone. Factory reset it a few weeks ago but trouble still.

Hi guys, i'm new here.
I'm having problem in these days with the LG Optimus 4X HD, it worked "well"(i think we all know the problem that his phone has) until yesterday, now infact i can't hear nothing on both speakers(system and calling speaker) and the microphone doesn't work too.
So i think this an hardware problem, like i've inserted a pair of headphone and the jack is stuck in the port. I can't make calls because from the other side they can't hear me and i can't hear them.
I was thinking if there's any way to force the audio output to the main speaker, so if it detect an headphone the sound go out from the speaker and not from the headphone itself.
Of course i've already wipe everything and changed ROM(i'm with the Resurrection Remix right now), for this i think it's an hardware problem because if it was a software one it should be solved thanks to the wiping.

I'm not sure if I had this problem since I bought the phone. I have tried several sound mods for the z3c since then.
Now, during calls, if I use loudspeakers, callers hear their own voices as an echo - I can't use loudspeakers during calls anymore because of this.
I use Slim rom by Waijk. I already re-flashed it, with cache and dalvik cache wipe. Dirty flashed the whole rom. Tried other sound mods and I tried to restore the original sound libs - even in safe mode I still have the echo during loudspeaker calls.
Can anybody please help me?

I have a problem with my Note 5 second microphone, that I can't find a solution how to fix.
Now, let me explain the problem, when I make a phone call people can hear me normally, but when I try to go in the loudspeaker mode no one can hear me.
Even when I try Whatsapp Video Calls people can't hear me.
I tried everything possible to fix the problem but the mic still doesn't work, so I am totally sure that this is a hardware problem.
Now what I want to do is to force my Note 5 to use the first microphone when I am on loudspeaker.
I found a video online when someone was doing smth similar but for MTK devices.

Is there any program that can help me do this?
Or maybe, someone can direct me what can I edit on my phone system files to fix this issue.

I have tried the loopback test *#0283# and confirmed that when in the SPK_2ndMic I can't hear myself
I have tried entering safe mode and still the 2ndMic doesn't work
I have tried to clear the cache, and still the same problem
I have tried to clean the mic with a pin, or blowing air but without success.

i have a similar issue. i tried the loop back test and the spk_mic2 works but mic 1 is feint. have you figured out the issue?
