Earspeaker is too loud! - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!
Is there any app or something similar that would help lowering the earpiece volume?
First of all, it really hurts my ears and second, I feel like im using the loud speaker all the time! Everybody can hear my conversation which is effing annoying!
I've disabled Clear Phase™ and xLOUD™, but it seems that after every reboot, they still appear checked.. wtf?
I'm not rooted & i dont wanna root.. (already bricked one Z with the "help" of xposed)

Simple just lower the sound using the volume buttons while you call.
TapaTalked from my Xperia™ Z (C660²) running Ultimate PureXZ Ultra!

So it seems that activating the ClearAudio+ in Walkman will automatically activate Clear Phase™ and xLOUD™ in Settings - Sound..
Also, when having a phone call, if i press vol down it will not go all the way down, needing manual setting.

I think you have a problem because if you press the volume down button so the sound MUST changed to a lower level...

Speaker boost is an app that will up to 100% increase Ur volume. It works fairly well and is free in the app store.

I did but still is active when i get new Email or Message in Wechat/Viber//line
Disable also Vibrate when Ringing and Vibrate on touch in Sound. Other than that you have to look in application which you installed, they are the main reason for that.

I had the same problem. Open diagnostics. Test your vibration a lot of times. If you hear squeak, contact your service. I sent my phone to repair.
Same problem here. I've sent my phone to repair today. I'll get the answer tomorrow, I bought it last week and I'm having this issue.
Even im having same problem..plus my phone's vibration stops automatically n starts again

When i got my z1 i thought theres no way to turn the vibration off.. But i dug deep enough to fix this myself.. Just think every app that could have a vabration in it and turn it off thats what i did and then carefully set the vibration of the only app i want to vibrate.. Its sad that on the prvious xperias and other phones that if you turn off the main vibration switch every app that has a vibration even if its on it wont vibrate..

[Q] 3.5mm Jack broken, how to disable headphone detection?

Hello XDA Community,
My yuga's 3,5mm Jack is broken and the phone permanently detects a headphone. I cannot play any media sounds like whatsapp sound messages, ringer prewievs, music and so on over speaker.
First I thought this problem is related to my CM ROM but I figured out that my phone thinks that headphones are plugged in.
Has anyone an idea to disable the jack completely?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english [emoji16]
Best regards from Germany[emoji481]

Break it completly
TapaTalked from my MultiROM Xperia™ Z (C660²) running Dirty Unicorns OR PAC MAN ROM!
#atownrisk# get a nail (the one you hit with a hamer in to the wood) and put some super glue on the flat head where you suposed to bash it and glue it to the broken part then pull,
Use common sence and dont over glue it or you have a nail stuck to you Z whahaha
The Problem is, the Jack itself is okay, i think the chip on the SOC loose connection.
are u rooted? then you can delete the managing app i think its called smart connect, maybe that will help and turn it off

Nope. Smart Connect app is not related about anything like that.
I'm on AOSP ROM and I don't have Smart Connect app so I can see everything is normal. I even deleted it when I was ruining a stock ROM and nothing changed.

then send it in for repair
Hmm i hoped for a software-based solution. I just want to force media routing always to speaker/earpiece
then you must manually find the drivers that control that and delete them and hope that the build will compile
Sounds good

[Q] [REQ] [Z3C] [SOUNDMOD] - Both speakers incoming call + headphones boost

As I dared to unlock my bootloader, I found on z3 and z2 threads that there are mods to make incoming calls ring on both speakers and to boost the headphones volume. Example:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/z3-speakers-incoming-call-headphones-t2889964
Will there be any possibilities to try something like that on z3c?
Of course, we must wait until more devs get there hands on this device then everything will arrive in time.
Getting mine tomorrow
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
The mod in 1st post is functional on the Z3C , its mods few lines in the mixer_paths.xml.
Make an backup (included in the linked mod).
Root needed as usual.

I am using this, but I am still on kitkat http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3015912 and it's working fine for me! I am using androplus kernel because you can modify sound quality with it. And yes, volume is pretty low in loud speaker anyway, but I think that in general the speaker volume is pretty low if you boost it sound is distorted anyway, i think, I suppose, it's because it's waterproof (I had a boomsound speaker on my previous phone, this one isnt loud even half of it)
