I would like to begin by saying that this project is more of a personal build that I'm doing as a learning experience and that I am sharing for everyone else to use and enjoy. I take no responsibility if anyone bricks their device. I am open to suggestions but before you start suggesting that I port various parts from various ROMs take note that I am still new at this and suck at git my "kang" is something that pretty much anyone can do if they set aside a decent amount of hard drive space and time. The original CM11 for Droid X is more official and in line with CM but personally I'm not a fan of stock CM so my kang is meant to debloat and be built for speed.
Installation:
The same as the other CM11 EXCEPT GAPPS ARE INCLUDED and if you need to ask how, then this ROM isn't for you since I will more than likely break stuff as I go along
Updates:
Wipe system and caches and flash new zip.
Downloads:
Gdrive
MEGA
NEW:
I made a media only ROM based off of this and it will be included in my Gdrive. Radio is disabled and has all phone related things debloated. Since the phone part is disabled you can't make emergency calls so use at your own risk with no promise of any form of warranty.
Features:
Newer repo sync than original cm11.
More init.d scripts with more to come.
Lots of build.prop tweaks with more to come.
Beats Audio for some amazing sounding music.
Cron for dumping cache twice a day.
Minfree tweaks to free up extra RAM.
Omni switch.
Minor debloating while trying not to break everything again.
Gapps included.
Some apks in /data for fun.
Extra swag.
And more...
Bugs:
Media kang has a bug where trying to unlock will cause a system ui force close loop. To fix go into settings and disable lock screen. I'm looking into fixing this.
To do:
Port 3.x aero kernel for our droid x. Want to make it into a flashable zip so that it's an optional beta type thing.
Thanks:
@palmbeach05 for doing a lot of the initial ground work for CM11 and for testing my initial zip
@Aaahh for initial port of TWRP and for letting me annoy him late at night with idiot questions
@m.ksy for being one epic dev and for maintaining the original CM11 and for just everything he has done in breathing life into this old device including open sourcing our modified Aero kernel
@Quarx for kernel
@Bobcus Leper for testing my first zip to see if it booted
@sd_shadow for everything he has done for the community and for testing to see if I was flashing apks to /data
@djdarkknight96 for his awesome work at TBO and for the installer

@Oggie7797, the Google Now Launcher never appears, regardless if I reboot immediately after the ROM boots up, or after I finish the setup. After I finish the setup from a clean SBF install, it just shows a black screen, because there isn't any launcher to choose from. If I reboot from the black screen, the ROM does not boot up. It just stays at the cm11 bootanimation. The phone is registered as booted up when it stays at the bootanimation, because I can see that auto brightness is working, and my notification light is working also. Besides from this, the ROM appears to be super smooth in settings at least.

If done correctly the a2sd should be activated...

Rooted - Deodexed - Zipaligned - New 2.6.32.17 Stock Kernel
3.26.605.1 Base
Few things to know,
1. Any ROM I produce will be Deodexed and Zipalinged with a 32m heapsize by default.
2. I will not experiment with OC kernels at this time.
3. The stock kernel ported into this ROM is not only stable but it provides superior battery life over the previous stock kernel as well as a significantly reduced charging time.
4. Your sdcard with get a new Optional_Apps folder for some of the apps I removed from the ROM but yet want to provide the user with a backup incase they would like to install them. (No VZW bloatware included)
5. My ROM's utilize a data/app partition so you may remove some of the stock apps that are installed that you may not want.
6. I work at my own pace and will update as I see fit. If there are bugs I will do my best to fix it immediately but that may be done through a patch instead of a full ROM.
7. I may take suggestions for future builds but please be aware, I will build as I see fit.
You must be rooted in order to flash this ROM
Information on how to Root your device can be found in the link provided below
Click for Root Information
I take no responsibility for any damage your device may suffer due to Rooting, Flashing ROM's or anything else you may do to it with the files and/or links I provide.

what is different about this rom than the others that would make people want to try it? I read the post on PPCGeeks, but nothing in it doesn't say what is different aside from not having busybox. I am always looking for a new rom to try....also, I assume it is sense based off 3.21.605.1...
and #5 was a bit misleading....
5. My ROM's utilize a data/app partitioin so you may remove some of the stock apps that are installed but you may not use.
should it read "you may remove some of the stock apps that are installed you may not use"
thanks.
Thanks....any screenies?

I'll correct #5. Sorry was talking to my wife at the same time so my grammar skills went out the door.
As far as difference. As with any ROM creator, this is my compilation with my tweaks. It may suit some but obviously not all. This rom is built off of the stock 3.21.605.1 base with some added tweaks and removed apps. As far as the data/app partition goes. I included it so that the apps would be installed into the ROM but the user may uninstall them if they choose to.
Also this ROM does utilize the New 2.6.32.17 Kernel which does seem to be FAR better than the previous kernel.

Not at this time. I'm not done with theme customizations so for now it's simply a stock look which we all have seen before. Sometime this weekend I will get another ROM up with the theme customizations I want to incorporate.

I appreciate it. Two things I forgot to mention, 1. 32m heapsize, 2. I changed the default clock out to black with white numbers instead of the stock white with black numbers.
Cool man glad to see you releasing something

Would love to try , but the download link is a joke. You download 15-16 mb's and it stops. When you try to start over it says you are still downloading and can't have two downloads at the same time , which is not the case. Money, money, money.
I will mirror it as soon as I can.....hotfile has its days

A derivative with the 4-1 hob boot feature( which ihftp sp?) made for us stock deodexed users, and hibernate is something I think is of high demand. Get the hot boot working on this and I'm in as I'm sure many other would be as well. If not joib the club ihtfp is a coding genius.
Working on hotbot ...its coming

Installed and trying it out. Looks good!
I'm not quite sure why you added task manager and slacker radio. They are installable from the market, task managers arent typically necessary, and not everyone uses slacker. Just my two cents.

Sure. I need feedback on my rom, pros and cons.. to make it better
Good work!! Will stay tuned for future releases. Good luck.
Hi,
Tnx for the Good job.
Question: Does it support Persian [Farsi] language by default?
If not, any idea how can I bring it to my phone?
another question... (important one )
does this rom improve battery performance?
I've been using juffo ROM for a while and what I saw was Farsi support with a bunch of letters missed from alphabet.
another issue also I had with Stock firmware and also juffo Rom :
Android OS battery usage : 54%
Display usage : 15%
the rest of stuff each below : 10%
Well this is awkward. even I was playing NFS for a long time just 8% but android OS always > 50%

the android OS battery usage is more like a bug, i am not sure which method i used to get rid of that.
basically i followed one of the thread in xda, saying that from CWM, must do factory wipe and cache wipe, maybe dalvik too. but i've also uninstalled most of the default samsung apps, like all HUB apps.
So i am not sure which solution actually work here in this case. but right now android os usage is only 5% for me after one whole day
refer here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1079136
i have juffo's rom installed, do i need a full wipe (cache + data/factory reset+ dalvik wipe ) ?

CyanogenMod 10 'Jellaxy'
Original thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1793511
Project discontinued because there are by far better CM10.1 releases by Wayland_Ace and others.
Despite that, i got a new device and my good ol' SGA is now in hands of my wife. I hope, i could give something to the community. Thanx for everything..
Most credits go to 'TheWhisp'. So if you want to thank someone, Say thanks to him. He made most of this possible.
Another 'special' credit and a very warm 'Thank you' goes to 'erikcas' who helped me a lot in creating this release.
This thread is for development only. If your post is not development related, DO NOT post here. Post in the general thread. Any person not following these rules WILL receive an infraction, this is your only warning.
Introduction - First of all, We're all doing this as a hobby. This is not our job, so, please, follow these simple rules:

Notes:
- Due to the fact that in this latest release cooper device sources did not change, it has ONLY been tested for boot up. No further tests (wifi, bluetooth, etc..) were made.
- Some people report performance increases of UI by removing 'hwcomposer.msm7x27.so' from /system/lib/hw. This has not been tested by me. But you can try and report back here, if it really works. (As always: Don't forget to do a CWM backup first)
- As long as there are no significant changes in CM sources or improvements in device sources, there will be no new CM10 release after this one because focusing on CM10.1 from now on.
Notes about 'Google Now'
Google Now seems to be a general problem in many ROM's. For more information see this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747224 If someone wants to do something for this ROM, she/he can check out this thread if there's a solution for us.
Tweaking
Some people asked me, what i recommend to make Jellaxy more reponsible and faster. So here are my personal recommendations for tweaking.
Some words on Tweaking.
During the last weeks, i've read a lot of 'my rom is laggy' posts in general thread and here. I think some words should be said on this.
First of all, be aware that all those 'Turbo' scripts floating around do more or less ALL the same. They all manipulate system and kernel settings by writing values to special 'device files'. Most effective results are/were achieved by writing new OOM values to '/sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/adj' and '/sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree'. Since ICS, writing to this device files via init.d scripts doesn't work anymore, because since ICS those values are overwritten with default values later during boot up. This is why i added code to Jellaxy which makes it possible to set this values in 'build.prop' (See here: https://github.com/Jellaxy/android_frameworks_base/commit/326ed3a470a610242eff753ac396e666598e089d). This is also, why Supercharger needs a patched 'services.jar' to work in ICS and JB. In the latest release of CM10, i already changed OOM values (based on OOM Calculator by zeppelinox) and lowered the max. number of hidden apps to 10 (See build.prop). I don't think that any script will make things 'revolutionary' better. However, you should always have in mind that:
278Mb stays 278Mb, whatever you do. No script in this world can change this
We are on JB and not an GB anymore. JB was never meant to run on devices with just 278 Mb of memory
So i recommend to try to run Jellaxy CM10 without any tweaking script first. Let it settle down and wait a day. Additionally try to limit max. number of Background processes to 4 in 'Developer Settings'.
Try to use swapping, if it makes things better for you or not.
If you want to try out a tweaking script, make a CWM backup first. So you can always revert back if something goes wrong. And always try only one script at a time and DO NOT flash all scripts that promise to give you 'the ultimate fastest machine on the planet'.
..2SD
Most of you will probably have noticed that for some reason most available scripts have an impact on performance. I recommend to use 'Link2sd' from Playstore. It's the only one i've found so far, which pushes apps, dalvik and system libs to SD without breaking performance.
Have a lot of fun with Jellaxy
good luck with that, meanwhile waiting for wayland git to make a stable cm9.
Greetings.
EDIT: i forgot! it's working with erikcas kernel on github?? i'm compiling a nimms kernel (experimental only) but i'm not sure which kernel are more stable...
I installed this one via CWM, but it wont boot, i only see new CM10 logo more then 20 min!

FIT has that problem to strange isnt it FIT and ACE have 5MP camera and they dont work. GIO and MINI 3MP work lol... Some camera apps work on FIT so i think they will work on ACE NightVisionCam, twisted camera.
I think problem could be that camera isnt properly recognized all camera apps think that camera is 3MP and we cant put 5MP
Ill tell you this now, this rom is super super smooth, launcher is great and super super fast! Man great job
If you have any questions or want to discuss this ROM, please use the general thread which I've made to prevent spam in this thread.

Partition your SD card, also use the general thread for these kind of posts in the future.
Google Now doesn't work. It says that there are some problems with sound. Any one else has this problem?
Bug-Music does not appear in any music app
Update: I have fixed the problem, you have to delete the .nomedia files located in the music folder, sorry for inconvenience
deep sleep doesn't work after flashing gapps

Q- will this work on my N80XX?
A-I am not sure on which devices this will work for as I only have the 8013 and pretty much only build and test for what I own. Well actually since v2.0 I now support N8000 and N8010 as well as N8013, all in one zip.
Q- Can you add ________________ feature please?
A-Pleas pm me feature requests and I can decide if it will benefit the Rom as a whole and more users. I dont really want to add a feature that only 2-3 people will use.
Q-What kernel is included?
A-As of right now only stock, hopefully this will change soon.
Q-What recovery is the best to use?
A-Im not really sure there is a best, the touch screen ones seem kinda wonky right now. I personally use this one and works flawlessly.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30816047
Q-Are there any other fonts that we can install for more options?

Nice work pimp. Hey small request . Since your theming and I know you can't p lease everyone but maybe since your using aroma installer you could have the icons as a separate flash able add-on I'd prefer the Rom pics themed with stock icons... either way good job m8

Honestly I don't know. I own and test on the 8013. You could give it a try if you feel lucky. But this is made for the 8013 so keep that in mind and also that is flashes the 8013 modem.

Yes was thinking about adding that in but just didn't get it in this go around. Have used awesome beats quite a bit in the past but dropped it when went to jelly bean on some devices cause it just didn't seem to work the same.
Finally been waiting for developments for this device. Still at work so can't flash. Is there an option to remove a lot of the bloat like music hub and chaton and all that junk? Thanks for your work.
