Multi window Mod - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

Hey all, back when I had my note 3 I had a mod to the multi window that allowed 4 apps open at once. Does anybody have or has seen a mod for the S5 that can do this?

S5 toolbox

Anyone know if they removed it from the note 4? And If so can we get it back?

Not sure what that is as I have never had an S5 but I do not recall anything with that name on the Note 4.

It's there partially. If you have an sql editor you can add the words toolbox in the default toggles area. The toggle will show and the settings to change it. The tool box circle doesn't come on the screen though.
It was cool to have those shortcuts whenever needed

It is gone they gave us Side key panel instead. So if the circle is gone how does that help us to use it?
Could I port it from my tab S somehow?

[Q] S5 Active owners...rom with shortcut button functionality?

Never mind, I see DK legit supports the S5A now.
mods pls delete.

Saving Multi-Window Combinations - feature gone?

I recently switched from a Note 3 to a Note 5. With the Note 3, I used to be able to save window combinations and relaunch them in the same position where they had been saved. I was also able to bring up a panel on the side - I think it was called the Window Manager or something like that - to manage these saved combinations. Is this now gone with the non-rooted OEM firmware Note 5 from Verizon?

Hello and thanks for your answer. No my Note 8 was not rooted but it got a shortcut in shortcut panel for screenshot. Impossible to find it on my new Note 9
It could have been some app you had installed that added it
Don’t know if this is what you had set up on your Note 8, but there is a screenshot option in the assistant menu that you can set up in the Accessibility section of settings. Go to Settings>Accessibility>Dexterity and Interaction>Assistant Menu - turn the menu on and click for options, one of which is Screenshots. It works great!
Hope that helps!

I think it has been mentioned, without root, go to advanced settings
Enable palm swipe to capture.
Then when you want a screenshot simply swipe from left to right across whole height of screen.

One hand operation
Try the "Quick Settings" app that allows you to add a bunch of items to your quick access panel

Hello good alternative thanks a lot. But it's not exactly the same result that the native one. When you make a screenshot you don't have the native option

You mean with the scroll capture and sharing options? Yeah this shortcut just saves it for you without any of that.

Open the one hand operation + application, tap either left or right settings. You can then edit the swipes to one of the predetermined options.

Just switched from S8 to P30pro. What I miss ...

Hi, I just switched from Samsung Galaxy S8 to Huawei P30 pro.
What I miss 'till now is:
1) HD calls (Vo LTE) are they available?
2) phone with caller ID and spam protection: what do you suggest?
3) swipe down to open notification bar (edge gesture just installed works fine)
4) home with drawer: in drawer I see icons ordered by name with vertical scrolling. No way to create folders, move icons and have pagination?
5) seems stupid but was very useful: in Galaxy you can use a tool to take a partial screenshot and keep it floating on the screen. Useful p.e. if you have to write down info from a business card you photographed.
1- working for me
2- depends on where u at, where i live i used true caller till it got blocked
3- install 3rd party launcher
4- same as 3
5- use your knuckles, youtube it to learn how it is done
Thanks.
About screenshots: I can take screenshots using knuckles, I can save a partial screenshot, but I can't make it floating in the screen. You know how to do that (tried to search with no success)
You can split the screen by drawing from left to right with a knuckle across the middle of the screen. Place the screenshot in one half and your app in the other.
Once you take the screenshot, just click the small image of it on the bottom left, it will display it full screen so you can view it, or edit it.
Thanks all, but this do not reply to my question.
If you ever tried galaxy screenshot floating function you should. It's very useful!

Hey, i did the same switch.
Which app do you use for swipe down for notifications?
Playstore link?
Thx in advance
This one is good: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.de_studio.recentappswitcher.trial
But finally I reintroduced the bottom bar with fourth button to show notifications
Emui is the best(for me) , just give it some time. Samsung experience is the reason I never go with galaxy devices(my wife has s9)
I installed Nova Launcher (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher) as soon as I set up my P30 Pro. It'll take care of your #3 and 4 concerns.
