[root any device] - Optimus L3, L5, L7 General

(((ALLOW UNKNOWN SOURECES)))
This is a link for the iRoot app, tho some may know it as vRoot or MasterRoot.
Once downloaded all you need to do is install the app accept the "EULA" and the app will show your device model and give you a "begin root" option, just press the option and your phone will be rooted in a second.
Download root checker from the market to verify if your device is rooted. When you use root checker the first time you press verify root the superuser of iRoot will ask for permission, go allow. Red letters show up saying your device does not have root access just exit the app, open it again and verify root once more. Green letters will apear saying congratulations your device is successfully rooted.
If your not happy with the iRoot superuser download supersu from market. And download the "root app delete" apk from 1mobile market.
(download 1mobile market from the official web site)
you will find tow apps with the same name pic the first one withe the black background
(the one on google play store will not work)
once you downloaded and installed supersu and Open supersu update binary choose normal install option.
then open "root app delete" once inside the app open app freez, and find iRoot. Press on iRoot and then freez (if the iRoot superuser asks for permission allow).
Under the app you will see red letters saying frozen.
Then exit the app and open supersu again, go normal install again if you are asked to.
After that open "root app delete" once more and go user apps, find iRoot and mark it.
once its marked you will see the options (uninstall and silent uninstall) press "uninstall" so you dont loose root.
After that open root checker agen and go verify root, this time supersu should ask for permission go allow and if the red letters show up the first time just exit the app and open it once more just like you did the first time the green letters will show up saying congratulations agen.

How to know if my note was rooted?

Not sure how to check this.
Check for CWM and superuser apps
Just install any app like Titanium Backup from Market, and it verifies that you are able to become root, if not it will tell you.
There is an app check root (I think) that will tell you for sure. I used it when my tablet appeared rooted but was not.
check if you have superuser app installed in the system. If its there in the apps then there are chances. You can confirm it by opening apps like Titanium backup (free version available in market). It will ask for root permission while opening.
even easier:
open terminal emulator, type: "su root", press enter and check if there pops up a Super User request

For those that know what you are talking about, perhaps. For the rest of the world, I believe the 'Check Root' app would be simpler

SOLUTION :Superuser not remembering requests

Ok so we all are annoyed about superuser app not remembering requested permissions. So i was just experimenting around and that part worked out for me Here is the solution:
First:Check If the superuser remembers granted and denied permissions to an app by launching a root app giving it root access. And relaunching it again if it shows a popup to show requests. If no then move to further step
Second Step: Download super su app(by the great chainfire) and check if it gives installation sucess. If no then move ahead
Third : Download Su update fixer from the Playstore
Fourth:Run the su update fixer app.If it asks for permission then grant it.Mostly it will force close. (Dont worry it should force close). Now if u observe on the device u might not see the super user app.Dont worry its natural.
Fifth:Now download superuser app from the market (mine is v3.1.3(46) ) try to get that one. After the download is completed run the app.
Sixth:Mostly it will force close.Reboot your device
Seventh: once the device is started. Run the superuser app.
Voila It will now remember all your permissions without fails
Incase it does not remember Use the super su app and when it prompts for the installation of binaries allow the superuser request
Supersu works flawlessly
NOTE:I am not responsible if any damage occurs to your device. I just shared it with you because it worked for me on CM9 CM10 and PAC roms

It solved for me, my set is Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Android 4.1.1, just root it recently via "Galaxy Nexus ToolKit".
However, the superuser will not remember, and keep asking.
Note: the superuser by ChainsDD, not install via play market, but install from "Galaxy Nexus ToolKit" (last update 21 Oct 2012) during root process.
SuperSU work great for me~

[Q] How do I install superuser?

I have a g1 with stock rooted 1.6 rom and I have superuser binary but no superuser app, i've been able to download the superuser app from the market, and it loads and displays the superuser homescreen but crashes when I select "preferences" from the menu, and when an app requests root access, they get it but no superuser dialog comes up. I want to know what apps are getting root access and I want to be able to control which ones get it.To enhance the overall wierdness of this, when I enter into teminal emulator "su" I get: "su: access granted, courtesy of magicandroidapps.com"(changed slightly so it isn't a link) and then below it a "#" so I'm getting superuser rights as well, any ideas?
EDIT: got cyanogenmod working so it is a non-issue; but the question still remains, how do I get it working on stock android 1.6?

Confused and frustrated with this "SuperSU" thing

Why are there 3 different versions of this app on play store and which one do I need and why is the one on my phone unable to be uninstalled and why can't I click the "grant access" pop-up so I can use my apps? And why does the SuperSU update app say there is no supersu even installed on my phone?

You have to download the one that says "SuperSU" by @Chainfire. There is also a license file by Coding Code, to which @Chainfire is handing over the reins of SuperSU. SuperSU cannot be uninstalled from the stick Android package manager due to its non ability to uninstall system apps. The dialog not responding is caused by the "Enable Tapjacking Protection" option. Just disable it and you should be good to go. If it says anything like that, it WILL also show you an option to update the su binary. Just select the normal (or TWRP/CWM if you prefer that) and your device will reboot and all your problems.

Suggestion: uninstall su - reboot - reinstall su.
Go to the play store and select superSu. Hopefully you see the Uninstall button.
I tried to reinstall supersu many times. does not appear in the menu and does not have an open button in settings.
Yes I have verified I have root access. Using Android x86 7.1.2
How do I run this app?
