Hey guys, I just got my Bamboo 32 GB Pure Edition about an hour ago. However, I've noticed there are numerous scratches on the silver ring-LED part (not the lense). Has anyone else had this issue, and if you have your Moto X right now, can you check under bright lighting if you can see scratches on the ring-LED area of the camera?
Thanks!
Anyone?

I just ordered my Moto X! Super pumped!
I went with white face, blue back and the orange trim. I'm a Hugh Broncos fan, so match up pretty well. I have to say having the option to chose so much makes this phone so much better. I'll post picks on Monday once I get it!! Can't wait.
Color choices, and if you want why?

Nice to see another Canadian in the forum getting one. I reserved one through Rogers and should be getting it on Monday or Tuesday.
Anyway I went with the black one since we're restricted to either black or white.

I made my Moto X as follows.
Front = Black
Back = olive
Buttons = orange
I made a video of the moto maker. There is a link posted in the accessory section.

I'm probably not going to get a Moto X but if I did I'd totally get some sort of wood flavor. The phone is absolutely gorgeous with a wood back either dark or light. It's so temping though. I'm trying to hold out for either the LG G2 or maybe a Note 3. idk. I have a Optimus G Pro and totally love the large screen. I've also been playing with a S4 Active but I don't think I could go back to anything smaller than 5" screen. But ya... if i did... WOOD!
White. All white. The only other colour available in the Great WHITE North here (either Black or White).
For those of you that have one already, is there a noticeable raised edge around the glass? Or is the whole front of the phone flush and smooth?
wait how the heeellllssss are you guys getting your X's? Did anybody from USA already get it? and how are you guys using the moto maker tool?

Canada already has the Moto X. and no, they are not using the Moto Maker. only those who were pre-invited by AT&T on the 19th were able to get their MotoX customized. those should be arriving today/tomorrow for those few lucky...

So there's no lip at all around the front of the phone?

Nothing. Flat surface. No raised edges/lip.
One of the main reasons I'm detracting from the iPhone universe is that I've had two iPhones whose home button stopped working (both times out of warranty). I will never buy another phone with a hardware home button.
The loose buttons concern me. I wonder if this is a feature of the phone or if reviews just received a bad phone?
weird a few reviews ive seen said tight buttons

Strange, I never hear anything about loose buttons. Either way it's not a problem for me

I'm a new user so I can't post links, but the following is from Engadget's Moto X review on August 5th.
"The volume rocker and power button, both slivers of painted plastic on the device's right edge, are loosely secured and flimsy. They actually make a slight noise when you jiggle them in their sockets. "
ALSO "Moto X first impressions: priced too high, buttons rattle, exclusives suck" is the title of today's moto x "review" from ZD Net.. I use quotes for the word review, because it's a bunch of tripe really. But, like mediocre quality of the camera, people are noticing the loose buttons..
Is the phone like the new droids? The volume buttons pull out and you input the Sim card there... Don't know if that's how the motoX works... Though I plan to get one when its available on Verizon.

My buttons seem rock solid, I think it may be over exaggerated or an early build. My SIM tray broke however, Motorola sent me a new one overnight today.
The guy from zdnet don t like motorola or is paid by others cie to say moto x is bad...
My camera was great
My button are not loose
Price too high ? Get the phone with a great offer for 360 $ ... - 120$ ( dont need any subscription @ 4.99$ on the next 24 month on gdrive ! )

May I ask how you got it for 360? Is it an att only deal?

Well i went to check out the Moto X at my local AT&T store and the buttons seemed really flimsy. It has just been put out for display because i still reciveed the Android screen welcome screen that tells how you to use. Hope that's not the case, just first batch.
Power button solid but volume button a bit flimsy. Honestly, I didn't notice until I played with both buttons.

I am waiting on my 32 gig. patiently. not really...
but I played with one at the ATT store and neither the power button or the volume buttons seemed 'flimsy.'

Wait so you could get an unlocked moto X for 360!? Sorry I just want to clarify.
And is there an end date for the deal?

Does the moto x come with a pre installed screen protector. It seems as if the one out of the box has one underneath the one installed out of box? Is this true? Mine phone is rogers.
Sent from my XT1058 using xda app-developers app
No. It has some sort of a factory protective film but nothing that you would want to leave on permanently.

Are the screen replacements the same across all carrier models?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
All the Moto X have the same dimensions so. All the models have the same front panel whether it be the dev edition, sprint or us cellular. They are just either white or black so I wouldn't worry about it too much. If your going to replace the front panel however, you might be better off buying the one with the lcd and digitiser already attached. It might get a bit messy otherwise.

Hi, after 2 months with my Moto X I saw 3 red lights, 2 at bottom and 1 at top.
I know that they are sensors but it is OK to see them when I am in a dark room?
I don't know if they were there and I didn't notice them or they started to show a few days ago

XT1097 is Moto X 2nd gen. You must go here with your question
It's normal as I've had hands on with X2.
And as said in above reply, you're in wrong forum..
