I fixed root
,i fix the problem then I was having all I had to do was manually factory reset and when I went through the steps it booted up my recovery I didn't have a backup all I had to do which create a backup and when the backup was done I restarted the phone and it asked me did I want to fix my root and I hit yes and my root was back so superuser works fine now and towel route does not work on my AT&T G flex

towlroot says says unsupported im on 4.4.2
When I purchased my Droid Maxx it was running 4.2.2 and I used the PIE exploit to root it. At the time, I didn't realize that allowing the 4.4.4 OTA update would completely frag the root so I took it. Now, on 4.4.4 I of course have very buggy and inconsistent root access. So, I decided to just unroot and forget about it for this phone. To that end, I ran a full unroot from SuperSU and the app disappeared. Great...until I rebooted and it came back. I went back into the app, disabled it via the app settings, full unroot again, and again the app reappears on reboot. I can't delete the apk from the System folder because even with SuperSU enabled it won't grant me write access (see above: root fragged). So what the hell am I supposed to do? The phone is essentially unrooted, but on every reboot, regardless of unroot attempts, SuperSU reinstalls itself.
Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
Either root it properly and use that to remove it, or reflash your full stock firmware.
Hi there so heres my story shortened:
>for some reason was getting en error on google play store "insuffient space to install apps" despite having 2gb free space
>saw a root only app they claimed to fix this.
>managed to root device by going down to 10.5.a.0.230 rooting with ezroot then back up too 10.5.1.a.0.292 and was successfully rooted.
>then attempted app that claimed fix didnt work
>tried to sign into banking app i use daily didnt work because they dont allow rooted devices
>since the fix didnt work and i now longer could access my banking app i decided to unroot using SuperSU's interal feature
>then could only access google play store on 4g wifi came up with "check your connection and try again" which you can fix via having root access i believe and changing the hosts file
>at this point i was unrooted, banking app still wasnt letting me in though
>tried same process to reroot, but its not working, in ezroot is says success but flashtool tells me the device doesnt have root access and i cant seem to edit the hosts file so i guess its right
>playstore still isnt working, tried to reroot about 5x and have even done a complete backup and restore in pc companion and it changed nothing.
been trying to fix this for hours and im so frustrated please help

Flash C6603_10.5.1.A.0.292_Generic_NCB.ftf using Flashtool.
It should solve all of your problems.
As for rooting, I suggest that you follow the guides in this forum because they are already verified to work with Xperia Z.

Its easy dude...if u want ur banking app to work on rooted device...just use. ROOT CLOAK. APP...
Hope this helps.
I know it's been said 1000x and I've def been there before. But again, if you've never rooted a device, do yourself a favor and take some time to at least know what you are getting into. It's not for everyone. But just knowing the basic pros/cons, would of helped avoid or solved all of these issues, even prior to rooting. There is a ton of info that's super easy to find on xda that'll save yourself from a headache and hours wasted.

I'm new here. I rooted my tablet. I installed SuperSU on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Editon). Says, it was successful. I second that because I got the same result just like in the tutorial I watched. But when I checked if my tablet is really rooted, the Root Checker said "Sorry! Root is not properly inatalled on this device." I reinstalled the root again then checked again but still says no root access. I tried to uninstall the root twice but it's still there. I tried to update SU binary as it says hoping it will give me root access. But I'm still having trouble installing it. Please guys, help me. I want to have root access but I think I messed up.
Did you flash SuperSu.zip in your custom recovery, or you just installed super su from google play store ?
i have a asus ME172v and i bought it used a few weeks ago. Apparently the guy rooted or tried to root with kingo root. even after a factory reset there is a super user app, but when you open it, says phone not rooted. How can i go about putting the factory firmware on the device and wiping all that crap off?
I used kingo root on my LG Spirit, and then used an app called 'supersume' to get rid of it and install SuperSU instead. You'll find it easily with a Google search, I hope it works for ya! ?
