I can vouch for this - Downloading now...
(apologies if this is already posted - did a search and couldn't see it).

It doesn't require Nexus 5. It is random. In my case it was probably Nexus 7 or Samsung Galaxy S4. So you have to be lucky to get this movie
And in my case account was created in Poland.
I just looked for it on the play store, but it wanted to charge me. Had to download the play movie and TV app, then it was free. Thanks for sharing!

this is a gift from google as there factory image site is getting hit hard with so many folks banging there F5 key "gravity load balencer"
Thanks! Haha just finished watching it woot woot!
given out to nexus 5 owners, maybe because this guy did this thing?
Woot I got mine! I had to uninstall Play movies updates then I launched the app, and Huzza! My free copy of Gravity.
Edit: So to check and see if it was a N5 exclusive, I told my bro to check. He followed my above procedure too.
He has a first gen Moto G
He didn't get gravity, but he did get a free Shaun the Sheep, XD.
So there is hope for you non N5ers, you can have Shaun the sheep.
My N5 and N7 got it (different accounts).
Weird, because i've gotten that movie for free 2 weeks ago from the Google Play Movies app. :-/
this is really nice gift, it's my favorite 2013 movie and now i can watch it whenever i want Thank you for telling us. BTW is there some way to watch it on smart TV without chromecast ?
Can confirm working in the US. I'm on Lollipop preview.
Without the Google TV and Movies app the price will be 9.99$, when you first launch the app however it'll be there for free on the home page.
Worked for me, thanks!
Worked great, thanks!
Irrelevant to the Nexus 5.

The Android Market will now be known as "Google Play."
Starting now, Google has begun the next step in the evolution of the Android Market and are calling it Google Play. The Android Market name is being retired, but no worries, Google Play looks exactly the same as the Market. Android 2.2+ devices will receive an updated Google Play Store within the next few days and things will go on as usual.
Google is going to great length to make consumers aware of the connectivity between all of their devices through their web and cloud services. Buy a song on your laptop and its instantly available on your phone. To give Play a grand opening, Google is hosting some good deals on media this week:
"To celebrate, we’ll be offering a different album, book, video rental and Android app at a special price each day for the next week in our “7 Days to Play” sale."

Hi I just figured out a way to get unrestricted access to google books , magazine, movies and TV from outside the US. {I am from india}
It involves no rooting or side loading. I am editing the video on how to get it done, will upload as soon as i finish. you will get the $25 free credit too using the following work around.... wait for it....

i assume it involves using a US VPN?
Plus you need a US credit card in order to buy any of the said magazines, books, movies etc... So it's pointless.
heh, I just want the $25 credit!!
Not really,
i'm out of USA, and could buy a movie and a book with a US VPN + International credit card.
Just give a US Zip code, the billing address vs register are not checked.
but my problem is: when i back to my N7 or my Gnexus i couldn't see the movie because it recognize that i'm out of US (My Google play movie version ends with "br").

Yes it works but I have seen people with suspended wallet accounts because of these fake addresses. People were crying even on this forum because of this issue. Not everyone face this problem but probably they do random checks.

Hi all.
I installed last summer to my Eee PC running Android x86 (not anymore) from Play Store a application what was "Stuff Pick" or "Editors choice" for tablets but I can not remember its name.
It does not exist at all in my Play Store account informations that I would have installed it and because I don't have netbook anymore running that installation, I can not even copy it.
- It was a hand drawn comic what scrolled from top to down, continually revealing new parts of story when scrolling smoothly down.
- It was a free but possible to donate to author from every episode and if he got enough donations, he continued drawing the story.
- It was story of a boy what in first chapter went to his grandma farm, where he had secret room in the house.
Did anyone catch it as well or remember name of that?
It was not so nice to read by using touchpad, so now when I got a tablet I would like to get it and even donate for the author of big work.
I think if it's no longer in your app list then it's not on the Play Store any more. I'm not 100% sure. but I'm about 99% sure that's what it means.

Yes, that is what it usually means. But if I remember correctly, it was available from author site as well. Just needing to know the name so I can track what happened.

Try and remember some more specific details about the story and google for it. That's the only thing I can suggest. If you do find it though, post back here and let us know. I'd like to have a look at it myself

I have tried to google it with all what I can remember. Searching trough Google image searches, different Android app review sites...
If I just wouldn't have formatted the drive where that Android installation was...
I just hate myself that I don't remember name or Play store does not have anything about it anymore. At that time I hated it was not available for smartphones but only for tablets but luckily I had installed Android few days before so I could peek it.
My last hope seems to be someone else remembers it name.
Hi Everyone! I'm Janus! I'm from the Philippines. Just stumbled upon this site while watching a video on youtube on how to install google playstore on fire hd 10 tablet. Was actually having issues installing it so there you go. Just bought this table last Christmas as a gift to my son. He keeps bugging me about installing playstore because he can't download the games that he is playing. Anyway, I love playing games, more on console than mobile or pc. Not that really techie but I can work my way around with proper instructions(a video sample much better ). I'm excited to be a part of this community. I have already checked some topics I'm already interested in. I actually started a thread or discussion or what ever it is called about my issue regarding my son's tablet. Hopefully I get an answer soon and be able to install so my son won't bother me anymore with this thing. That's it! I have to go now. I saw some thread earlier. Got to read them first! hehehe!
