Got a problem 2.1 to 2.2

Finally got my OTA update from Google, and just like my experience manually updating, my phone will not update
Got the notification message this morning, selected apply update
Phone rebooted, went into the update screen
Phone reboots, goes into the static N1 logo, been there for close to an hour now
So other than reflashing the PASSIMG file I still conveniently have, any other suggestions? When my phone wouldn't flash propelry the manual way, I started to worry that this would happen with the OTA too, and yes 100% stock and unrooted
Has anyone made a PASSIMG version of 2.2?
Holding off on Rooting, might need to send the phone in for replacement for other issues, and don't want to have any problems with HTC
Anyone?????
Would hate to have to wait till Monday to call HTC if at all possible

How long have you waited for the update? When I restored mine,it said the phone is up to date if I told it to check for updates, but the next morning when I woke up,it said it had a 2 part update to do. I would say just leave it on and connected to wifi when you go to sleep.
Hello. Thanks for giving the answer. I did a lot of time to wait for the update. Because before connecting to GMAIL update came quickly. But you say you just might want to receive updated once again.
Friend waited a long time but I did not update message. What issue do not really know. Not anyone know how I solve this problem.

[Q] Moto G dont install OTA Update 5.0.1

Couple days ago, got notification of the update, wasn't on wi fi so waited until i got home to download it when it was already downloaded started the install but phone was under 25% so waited until it was ready , the phone had like 26% so started with install again this time phone rebooted but when was back on it said there was an error installing the update, phone still on:
Version 5.0
kernel 3.4.42 Sun Nov 9 2014
System version 22.11.6
Build Number LXB22.39-6
If im not mistaken , everthing still the same , now when i check for updates it says phone is already up to date , tried with Motorola device manager and it says the same . already tried to find a zip of the update but didnt find it
I have unlocker bootloader but still have the stock recovery
Is there a way i can update my phone? :/
Which variant? Check the box or take off the back cover. It should start with XT106, the last number will determine the variant.
sorry for taking so long to answer , it is xt1063 variant

LG G4 Loses Network After Root and ROM Installation

I recently rooted my H811 G4 (T-mobile) and then installed the latest Imperium ROM on it. Everything worked fine for three days. The only thing that kept popping up was an alert from Lookout, saying that the Imperium Settings app had riskware and wanted me to delete it. I just ignored the warning as I figured that it was being fussy over an app from a custom ROM. I also kept getting notifications to upgrade my version of Android but I ignored those too as I learned that with a rooted phone, it either won't work, or will unroot the phone. After 3 days, I suddenly lost connectivity to the T-Mobile network. Could still make calls and text over wifi, but nothing when the wifi was off. After going into the settings, it would say that the network was disconnected. I took the phone to T-mobile and they tested the sim card in another phone, to which it worked just fine. So that told me that something was obviously wrong with my handset. I restored the phone back to factory default and was able to make calls again. Imperium was still installed on it. So I went back into recovery and wiped the phone clean. After selecting to restart the phone in TWRP, I got stuck on the bootloader screen. So I downloaded LG Bridge and got it working again. I was going to wait till I got a notification to upgrade Android before rooting it again, but after 2 days, I never got it. Has anyone else had this happen? I thought Imperium was cool but I'm not thinking of just going with another custom ROM.

Modem problem. Don't waste your time. Oreo is the latest build for TM-LGG4:

Need TWRP to flash.

unable to install January security path update

I updated my moto x4 from Oreo to pie using flash using boot loader. my boot loader is still locked and software status is official too. It still is unable to update to January security update. Please help !!
yes I have also facing same issue... i have also try by safe mode but shows something not right .... reconnecting to server... might be Moto update Services try to connect moto server which has not able to connect due some issue in server... hope so this is issue...
you can connect to moto support team let me know what they are say for this issue.
They told to reset and try again.. to do that I got to backup my data which LL take time.. so on hold as of now
Yup, same here. I got the Android 1 Google Fi model (Bootloader unlocked, unrooted). I'll try again in a week and see if it resolves itself.
And another ~ bought 2, mine showed the update 3 days before my wife's but won't start (download and install now, via wifi only and it reverts back to the settings screen). She got the notification last night and it took first try. First time I've had this issue in the 4 months I've had the phone, just glad I'm not alone here....
Since you're official/fully stock, there's not really any alternatives besides factory reset or await for full image is available to manually flash via fastboot method. You do not need to unlock long as you stick with motorola firmwares. Links in FAQs thread.
Nothing new here? Mine keeps nagging me to do the update, start it and it shows getting to 17% on step 3 of 6, then just kicks me back out to the setting screen.
This is my first android phone (from a flip), couldn't get lineageos to work with my provider (RedPocket) and have neutered as much of the google crap as possible. Right on down to disabling all permissions for Play Store. Could that be part of my issue?
It has been nagging me since last few weeks, no solution apparently
New Update:
Could actually able to fix the issue by installing a vpn and set it as a USA based server.
My phone was bought in US and I was using it elsewhere. After using an USA based IP it downloaded the update and voila.
