I've been confused for a while thinking of which is the best mobile for me
I need a good one for heavy games and i thought about the p7 so i need your opinion guys should i buy it or what now i have iphone 4s 64g and its working perfectly for gaming but i need another one for heaver games
So ?
What should i do should i buy p7 or is there other phones at the same price
And one last thing i need to play games on the basic rom i dont want to install other roms or root it
So do the games lag on the basic rom

I just got this and was wondering what other models stuff ,if any, is compatible with this version and if there is any custom recovery out there for this one. Everything I have been finding is for the HD7. Any help would be appreciated!

I wanted to follow up on this as well, I just got this same Tablet for a really nice price, and honestly hate all the bloatware ASUS has installed on this Tablet, it really does slow down the performance. Aditionally, are there any nice ROMs out there performance wise? I am just looking to use this for basic tasks and social media stuff as a college student.
Bumping so i can enjoy my xmas present with a better performance

I currently have a Nexus 5 and I am pretty happy with it but it looks like I may get a P7.
My question is: what is your opinion of you could choose? Would you get the P7 or the Nexus 5?

man no no NEVER Nexus 5 really ! the battery on it is very bad .. on P7 is way better .. !

If you're interested in Custom Roms and control over your phone, don't get a P7. Huawei has obviously imposed many hurdles to create custom ROMs what made me very dissatisfied. I also know a lot about their software development from an internship and it's too bad. They should stick to creating great hardware and leave the software to people who know it better.
Well, I'm quite satisfied with my brand new P7. I am used to iOS devices, and I will never-ever go back. Love the design, Android, but dislike Huaweis EMUI.
So maybe the question should rather be if you want the pure Andriod OS or if you can settle with the EMUI packed in sweet design (really love the P7 design, as you might figure).

MIUI is one garbage software, almost everything coming from China .... Brand new MI Noten PRO, which installs only what he wants, programs that do not want to be there .... Great programmers can not organize a stupid web site, can't download the updates a.s.o. a. s. o. ... can you tell me people, how to download the last ROM ... i will try to use this ****???

Went back to iPhone after so muvh lag if we install more than 100 apps
But in miui on my note pro i have installed 138 apps and tons of music and photos
No lag at all same smooth like day 1
No need greenify nothing
Bro if you are frustrated this is because you want to get everything on day 1 which is not possible
And now everything even apple is MADE IN CHINA
and trust me this is very beautiful community as well love miui

Since the P9 Lite and the Honor 5C are identical in the inside,they can literaly use the same source code,and that is why I made this thread!
The thing is,we would like to get a device to a capable dev with collective donations(a sort of a fund-raiser?),and with the circumstances(the fact that the P9 Lite and the Honor 5C are the same phones and that we might actually get enough money if owners of both phones unite on this),soooo...Here I am,just checking if anyone is willing to contribute.
Even if we hit half of the amount,it will make it easier for a dev to buy either the Honor 5C or the P9 Lite.
Again,I am checking first and if a certain mass exists,we can ask a certain dev if he/she is willing to have a go at it.

We already have CM13 booting with RIL,audio,bluetooth,some sensors and wifi working.
At the moment,only the camera,gps,fingerprint and a few other things aren't working.
Oh yeah,and deep sleep isn't working,but I still manage to make it through the day with one charge because I leave only 2 cores at 480 MHz when the phone should be sleeping.
I have been using the rom for a couple of days now,and it is pretty good(except for the fact that the camera isn't working,but I don't mind that).
Once we get it fully functional,just a few things should be changed for it to work with the Honor 5C(and that is in the worst case,since tons of 5C users successfully flashed the P9 Lite firmware in the past).

Hi everyone! It's my 1st time posting here. I will be upgrading my plan and i was thinking of getting P9. I just need quick opinion if its worth choosing this phone based on everyones overall experience here.

Don't do it i came from samsung note 3 en have now the P9. I wish i never buy it ......i go back to samsung.
On the other hand, I came from an S5 and the Huawei is a far better phone...
I've had Samsung Note 2, LG G3, OnePlus 2... The P9 has them all beat if you ask me. Great design, great camera, good battery life, fast and smooth processor. EMUI takes some getting used to and takes a bit longer to set up, but after that everything just works. No little quirks, no overheating, no random reboots...
I've had it for 3 months now and I still see no reason to root it. Very happy with the phone.
I came from Windows and Lumia 950XL, tried a couple of Android devices before finally sticking with the P9.
It's a great phone and is much more stable and less issues with apps running and permissions etc than I found on other Android devices.
The only problem for me would be there with most devices..there is no dedicated camera button like I had on Windows for last 6 years.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I have tried the demo unit and so far everyrhing seems really nice. My only qualm I guess is the slow support in terms of software development but I could be wrong as well. After all this is a new phone that needs some familiarizing.
