Hey,
i asked me which of this files u should use to flash:
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/VS980/Stock_Firmware
On that website are 4 a-versions.On my phone packaging it stands "vs98024a",but there
isnt a 24a to download.Which a-version should i flash when Im in a brick?
Thank you
If you guy got the .tot ROM file? I experienced difficulty - failure with flashing using .kdz and zip ROM file but I was success with .tot file.
Regard,
mKHMER
Do you have a vs980 too?
Should I extract the files out of the tot?

As I noted in another thread, you're not flashing anything with Autorec, all it does is install TWRP on your phone. Secondly, you can't just download any zip and flash it, it has to be built by a dev to be flashed via a custom recovery. The files coming direct from LG are not made to be flashed this way.

If you have backed up your stock system via ClockworkMod but you want to return your recovery to stock too (i.e. return to COMPLETELY stock), then apply this zip in ClockworkMod. Obviously, once you have, ClockworkMod is gone.

Help, please. Unable to use files.
Hi, thank You very much for Your program and for Your news. Sorry but I am a newbie, this is my first post... Please, can You explain me, step by step, how to use flash/apply Your "•r1 - (ROMraid Load Balancing) - MD5: 9ba5499fecee0ee8b327bc08fdbc1e70"? I have downloaded it and I have found in it a file (recovery.img) and a folder (META-INF) but I am unable to "use" them. What can I work with them?
Thank in advance for Your patience and Your answer.
Sorry for my bad English...

It's simple. Don't unpack the file. Put the file on your Micro SD card, boot into recovery, and tell it to flash the zip file. Once you've done that, you'll have a stock phone again, without recovery or anything.
Surely it won't unroot too though....will it ?!?!?

Thanks Paul, for this. The Stock Recovery doesn't get updated when you update the firmware right? Another question, does the Stock recovery have an option to do a Nandroid backup or can that only be done via CWM?

Thanks man, really appreciate it.
I'd love it of you'd upload it. More importantly tho can you explain why certain Roms/kernels don't flash without error? It's a recovery issue I'm assuming? Hoping a recovery is update will be made available soon. If not I'm contemplating flashing back back to 11A lol.

Did you use the same zip file? Try to copy your zip file to your computer, then extract it, if it's error while extracting, then your problem is corrupted file. Try to flash other zip file, like theme, or etc, just to make sure your problem is your corrupted zip file.

Try this,
Wipe everything in recopovery, flash a .534 FTF, install dualrecovery, flash SuperSU from chainfire.
Try flashing advance kernel by doomlord..then try flashing again..
Did u flash 4.4 ftf before u unlock the bootloader?
If thats the case 4.4 kernel has probelems in mounting the system in recovery..

Its not the kernel, it was old versions of recovery that did that. If you are on the latest dual recovery OR DooMKerneL there will be no issues with mount.

Yes, just flash it....It makes no difference where you put the update.zip, you can also delete it afterwards...it installs the files to the correct places

Alright, Will do that now Thank u very much.
Have got TWRP installed on H811 20q, but would like to get rid of it so that I can get OTA update to work (for now). I cannot get LGUP or Uppercut to work properly so I want to go back to stock and will then reinstall twrp/root etc and then custom ROMs. What is the best method to get back to stock recovery without LGUP?
