IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THIS INSTALLED THEN USE A ROOT BROWSER TO DELETE 1ST THEN BOOT TO RECOVERY AND FLASH...EITHER THAT OR EXTRACT ZIP AND PUSH TO SYSTEM/APP FOLDER AND DELETE OR RENAME ORIGINAL. THAT'S IT. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLES FLASHING THIS THEN YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS FLASHING ANYTHING AND NEED TO STUDY!

I have a Samsung Fascinate, unrooted.
they are all in your framework-res.apk you can use 7-zip to open go to res/drawablw-hdpi inside are you emo icons and you can replace them there

If on BAMF or others that support this directory copy zip to
/system/media/
If on stock rooted or similar
rename to
VZW_bootanimation.zip
copy to
/system/customize/resources/

here is the *PRE COMPILED* .9.png for use without downloading and searching.. just drop into original compiled apk using winrar.
use root explorer to replace original in system/app reboot to recovery and wipe cache.
then enjoy!

Android mesh boot animation

I have made a 240 x 320 boot animation. simply copy 'bootanimation.zip' to /system/media/. (I recommend renaming your old 'bootanimation.zip in system/media/ to 'old.zip' or something like that in case it doesn't work for you so you can just rename your old one!)
