[ROOT] XT1068 with 1064 rom - G 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
Managed to root the android lollipop for Moto g second gen. My model is the XT1068 and I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/development/xt1068-lollipop-dual-sim-t2938439 method.
So all you will need is the boot.img from the XT1064 and you can download it here:
http://downloads.codefi.re/savoca/root/titan/xt1064_lollipop_boot.img
Also downloade superSU:
http://download.chainfire.eu/593/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.19.zip?retrieve_file=1
Place the superSu.zip in your sdcard and reboot your phone in fastboot mode.
Run on cmd : fastboot flash boot xt1064_lollipop_boot.img.
WARNING:There is a problem still with this, after installing the new boot.img, it will take a while to start but works fine after.
use it at your own risk

bootloop!
I have followed all thing accordingly, still i am stuck at the bootloader warning.

Try to wipe cache and dalvik and try again. It may take a few minutes and loops to start but it will start. Also you might want to check the XT1069 backup thread for xt1068. Still with bootloop but works way smoother than with the xt1064 rom.

Mobile struck in bootloader warning

Hi, Anyone please help me.
My MotoG was working flawlessly after rooting Cyanogenmod 12 Official
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t2993932
Then everything started after updating 21st build using cyandelta updater, then my mobile was stuck on motorola Bootloader unlocked warning,
then erased everything using adb by fastboot -w, then in recovery there was error that data & system is not mounted, then mounted system using twrp but was unable to mount data,
then after reboot my mobile is struck once again in motorola Bootloader unlocked warning,
only bootloader (fastboot flash mode) is working.

Are you able to boot intro recovery? Try flashing recovery again? And den install another rom!
If nothing works then try flashing stock rom from the bootloader itself?

Finally recovery worked, mounted data & system using twrp, yesterday i was unable to mount both data & system in twrp, installed CM12 official.
I had downloaded stock lollipop rom, if recovery had not worked i would have tried flashing stock rom like you told.
But anyways now everything is fine,
@pranshubatra707, thanks for the reply..

Recovery issues

So Im at a total loss on this phone. I had a moto e unlocked that everything worked fine on and Im not totally new to working on phones. But this phone has me stumped. I have a unlocked XT1095, that is rooted. I tried to install TWRP on it, I can flash the .img file okay but everytime I reboot the phone to go into the recovery menu option, the phone just goes black and shuts off. I can't get into the recovery at all or any of the other fastboot options. My specs are as follows, Moto X 2nd gen, 5.1, system version is 23.16.3.victara_tmo.tmo.en.US tmo build number, LPE23.32-21.3
Don't reboot the phone after you flash TWRP. Select recovery from fastboot as soon as you flash it.

I just tried that today and it still shuts the phone off. The other odd thing is I tried to do this OTA update that was only a few MB. Once I tried that, it booted into TWRP just fine but into a boot loop. I had to delete the cached update file in order to get it to boot up properly.

I did not face this exact error, but have faced error like image verification failed and my phone was bricked. Installing stock Lollipop didn't help. So I installed stock Kitkat via fastboot, and it worked, my phone booted successfully to Kitkat. Later I upgraded to Lollipop. Try this and let me know if it works.
Thanks for replying to my post
As it was a soft brick
I was searching so many links in xda
.... At last one link worked for me I got back my stock Lolly pop version back
XDA forums really helped me :good:

Flash 5.1 Stock using Fastboot? [SOLVED]

So I basically flashed a modem.zip file that was for 5.1 on my 4.4.4 Moto X. Yup, I'm dumb, I know.
So now I'm stuck on boot loops and I'm trying to figure out how to flash the stock firmware using Fastboot.
I can put my phone in fastboot mode but as soon as I hit recovery to go to TWRP it just boot loops so Recovery is not an option for me. Any help or useful links would help. Thanks!
EDIT: I was finally able to get into TWRP. I wiped Cache and Dalvik Cache and everything returned to normal.
If your bootloader unlocked.... You should be able to just flash the appropriate modem using fastboot. Or flash all of 5.1 via fastboot or rsd lite

Motorola Moto X pure stuck on bootloop after failed root attempt, HELP!!

Hey everyone I just recently got a Moto X Pure with TWRP recovery already installed and the bootloader unlocked, unrooted. The phone was stuck on Marshmallow so I went to update and it would take me to TWRP recovery every time and when I reboot back into the system, I'm still stuck on Marshmallow. So I downloaded an app that would make me download OTA updates while still having TWRP recovery but it needed root access, which I didn't have. I tried all of the one-click root apps but non worked then I stumbled across an easy root method: ( oops it said I can't post links, but basically I downloaded a supersu zip and flashed it) which I followed very precisely and I'm pretty sure I did nothing wrong. But when I flashed the ZIP using TWRP and booted back into system it was stuck on the Motorola logo which I'm assuming is bootloop. I was going to download a stock recovery using fastboot but I discovered that it would relock the bootloader, which would render the device useless to me so I can't. I also tried wiping the Dalvrik Cache but it always failed. I'm new to all of this so please guys I'm desperate for help. Thanks in advance
