You can Not Flash this if you have the Froyo Build Running....
Either
A. You will Need to ODIN the Stock zImage ( Have this if Neede )..
or
B. Flash Back to Stock Rom

Hold Power + vol up and down + home
When the phone comes back on, let go of power and keep the others held and it should put you in download mode.
You may need to flash back to stock using ODIN before you can install a ROM that is 2.1, I'd think..

your phone isn't bricked. What u needed to do was revert back to stock 2.1 using ODIN and then flash this .zip in recovery. To restore, enter download mode and revert back to stock through odin. you'll be fine

easiest way ive found, is turn off the phone completely, plug it in to the usb port on your computer while its off. wait for the battery display to show up and finish loading, then hold both volume buttons down, then hold power while continuing to hold the volume buttons. as soon as the display turns black let go of the power button but continue to hold the volume buttons. works every time.

He doesn't list it, so I would think not. His adb push/pull fix uses the same boot script mechanism we use for the apps2sd fix, so if you apply a2sd over this ROM, you will lose that fix. I can build a version that integrates them together, I just haven't had time yet and nobody has asked for it.
Thanks brotha!
my power/screen lock button is stuck i believe, my phone is rooted and i wanted to flash back to stock but i can't enter download mode using the vol up/down method because the power button is stuck i think and it keeps taking me to the recovery/reboot screen. is there another way for me to enter download mode? i tried using the abd method but everytime i type what it says in the command prompt, it says that pathway is not recognized or something. please help me!
if someone can tell me how to do the abd method, it would be greatly appreciated
I have no idea where you have adb installed I can't tell you how to navigate there properly.
A jig will force download mode.
i finally got the adb to work, but when i got it into download mode to flash back to stock, my USB got unplugged! just my luck right? now its stuck in that "phone+!+computer" screen...how do i get out of this or will i still need a jig?
Damn that sucks dude.
Adb is of no use now, try the button combos a few more times, if that don't get it to dl mode you will need a jig.
Better than being bricked though!!
You can still recover from this.

damn i was hoping it wouldnt come to that. do you think if i bring it to ATT device support and say i decided to mess around with my phone one day and that just happened they would give me a new phone? haha, because i mean, it is because the power button is stuck so i can't "release" the power button when it needs to be released in the process of fixing it right?
Good point, I've been hopping around threads all day and forgot that was your issue ... Tell them about the power button thing and that you were using kies to update thinking it would fix the issue but something happened during the process "idk maybe the power button was still stuck" you should be ok.
sounds like a legit response! i'll give it a try after work

Are you able to go to download mode? Press vol down + Home + Power and let go the power key when you see the first samsung logo

Can you get into recovery? That is volume up + home + power
You are a genius in trying to use vooodo made for I9000 i assume!!!
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA App
am sory but i did not know and i cant go into recovery mode worst everytime booting my galaxy s i9003 its showing the black screen of death
firstly dont panic....We do make mistakes and when we panic we dont follow steps correctly... Take out battery and press power key for 15-20 sec....Then insert battery and try to go to download mode...
ron is right....you might have tried to flash vodoo for 9000 and might have corrupted your system...in this case you need to go to samsung service center and tell them that you were playing a game or something and phone switched off...After wards you are trying to boot it and its not coming up...
THis is the only way you can get warranty....Regarding your father....You should be spanked
Remove your battery...put it back and try going into download mode..
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA App
its showing the same as for warranty my phone is rooted does that void my warranty ....i tried removing my battey and put it back when turning on its showing the same black screen of death O_O
for the file u gave me to download can it solve the black screen problem??

Wow, if you flashed a I9000 kernel, then your a goner. Make sure you hold the vol down+home first, then 1 sec later, hold the power button till you see the yellow triangle pop up. It will work. You aren't doing it right.
On another note, Father's hand is itching :O!
Are you pressing the right keys to get into download mode...first press and hold volume down...then simultaneously press the home key abd hold while holding both the keys now...press power button...release after you see a picture of download
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA App
its in downloading mode now phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
what next ?
If you have got to the download mode then you can install either a stock firmware XXKB3 or try to do recovery.

Is my HTC One bricked/soft-bricked. When I power off and then back on, all I see is the HTC log for 2 sec's; then it jumps back to the boot screen as if I held the power button plus vol down.
Is there any way I can reinstall my sprint software and get my phone working again? If so,what is the Easiest Way to go about fixing this. Little skills when it come to installing rom to android.
Please Help

What were you trying to do?
Power it off, then hold the power and vol down til you get to the bootloader. Run the RUU

If you can`t get into fastboot mode or boot up there is nothing you can do anymore and you have to turn it in for repair imo. Maybe someone else knows more about his but i can`t see a solution based on your info.
Keep your finger pressed on the power button and the lights will flash still keep it pressed they then stop flashing and phone will turn off about ten to fifteen seconds holding should do it. Once they go out let go of power button and press volume down button keeping it pressed until boot screen appears
