Accidentally bricked my phone :( please help?

So here's what happened from the beginning:
I used Safestrap to try out ICS on this thing and got a backup of my original rom and everything went smooth. While on ICS (one of the CM9 nightly builds, 6/29 i think) i decided to go back to my unsafe system, the original gingerbread, it was my understanding that we were able to switch between the two with no problems. When i switched, i was in a bootloop so i tried to restore my backup which had magically disappeared. After that, i decided to try and go back to the original stuff through flashing the FXZ (VRZ_XT894_6.5.1-167_DR4-1_M1-219_1FF_01.xml). got the idea and followed the instructions of a video on youtube by droidforums "HOW TO Unbrick Factory Reset Droid4 D4 via Flashing FXZ in Fastboot". now im stuck in bootloop and have no recovery to flash anything and i dont know what to do from here. anything i can do other than take it to a verizon store and play dumb? all i need is to get this thing working again, gingerbread, ICS or jellybean, idc which lol
thanks in advance

I would try downloading the fastboot files again, from here,
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/cdma_maserati/VRZ_XT894_6.5.1-167_DR4-1_M1-219_1FF_01.xml.zip
Then download Motorola USB drivers from here,
http://www.mymotocast.com/download/MDM?platform=windows
Finally, download RSDLite from here,
http://www.mediafire.com/?5mvfxv88twuvh34
Then, boot your droid 4 by holding the VOL DOWN + POWER briefly then release the POWER button and you should be on a black bootloader screen (NOTE: if it boots to the Moto symbol here, shut it down holding the buttons until it turns off then immediately release and hold them down again)
Scroll down to AP Fastboot using the VOL DOWN key then press VOL UP to select it
Once in this mode plug your phone into the usb on your computer and after windows installs drivers run rsdlite
RSDlite should detect your device and you can flash the fastboot file by browsing to it
It should take about 10 minutes or so, and you should have a factory phone again
While i was wating for this to download i decided to check out the recovery from that menu. i did a factory reset and rebooted and it booted up fine. i gues something on there was from ics and was screwing things over? Idk points is it worked lol. thanks so much for the reply though

[Q] [Help]My kindle fire HD 7" keeps booting into TWRP

First of all I apologize if there is a fix somewhere on this forum for this (I searched and was unable to find any) I am pretty newbish so please try to make things simple. Now let me explain what happened I booted into TWRP to install kinoligy I followed the steps very closely and did everything right. Then I rebooted and everything seemed to be going fine and then my device loaded TWRP and I wasn't pressing the up volume key I have tried rebooting many times and it still refuses to just boot into the OS. PLEASE help and thanks in advance!

That's because there is no OS to begin with. Did you leave out some files that you had to download? All the steps? You had to flash everything in order, all of those files.

I've followed the steps, reading over them many times before hand and I am having the same problem. I booted fine after I was finished, then went to check twrp. Once booted in twrp, I rebooted and it continues to load in twrp, I don't know why.

Bootloop after flashing TWRP

So I followed a guide that used fireflash to flash freedom boot and TWRP. The problem is when it got to the point of backing up before I installed the system, I didn't have enough space. Not a problem right? Well in my haste I rebooted out of TWRP and now I can't get back into TWRP or obviously the system which doesn't exist.
I would have thought it would be simple to get back into TWRP and just carry on but it looks like there is no easy way to get back into it?
This is a HD7 model no: X43Z60

No it just loops on the orange kindle fire one. It's worth mentioning that obviously it did initially turn blue to get into TWRP but after it asked if I would like to restart, it just went into the loop.
If it didn't turn blue you will need a fastboot cable/adapter to fix, I recommend team blackhats from hashcode's twrp tut.
You will have to reflash stock and go about reinstalling twrp/2nd bootloader, I think you wiped the stack override so it won't boot.

Thanks for the responses.
I have ordered a fastboot cable and it's nice to hear that this is still recoverable. Would you be able to point me in the direction of the best reflash stock tutorial you know of?
The tutorial I used to get into this mess used an APK to do all of the flashing / stack override methods.
That's the same method I used for flashing, it seemed to have worked for you so the method was fine. Anyways you can look in the general section fornmkindke fire first aid, or in the dev section's FAQ post for the SRT(system restore tool), either one fixes it.

[Q] Help needed kindle fire HD (TATE) not booting

Hi everybody
I've been running a rooted kindle fire hd for about a year with cyanogenmod and no problems. Tonight I downloaded the latest nightly update installed it with TWRP and re booted fine.
I kept getting google play services errors so decided to factory reset and clean everything up. Now I cannot get past the teamwin boot logo.
I see the orange kindlefire, blue kindlefire, then the teamwin logo flashes every 5 seconds.
Any ideas on how to recover this?
Regards
KP

i have the same problem and there seems to be no way to get the kindle in any state to do anything, all I've found out so far is that its stuck trying to factory reset and there should be a way to reverse this, i hope someone can give us a solution or i might as well call my kindle a paperweight.

Thanks for letting me know, I purchased a factory cable today. Seems to be recognised by my laptop, but the kindle doesnt go into fastboot. There seems to be a few people with this problem. I've not seen any help offered yet. I'm not holding out much hope, doesn't seem any way to communicate with it.
Where did you get your info?

i've found out a lot about bootloop issues and in most cases it seems like the first thing needed to fix the problem is a factory cable, i didn't get mine yet so i can't see if it will work but since your pc can see your kindle now you can try out kindle fire first aid 4.1.88-beta.
let me know if it works for you.

I'd already tried that. Seems because the kindle is not fully booting up then kindle fire first aid doesnt recognise it. Unless what i've been sent is actually a normal usb, then I dont see any way of sorting this. I'll wait to see if you have better luck

OK I may have cracked it here. I am no expert ( I wouldnt be in this mess if I was) i was playing with the adb commands with the factory cable connected.
Typed:
ADB devices
showed a device called D025A0A024540SF0 recovery
Typed:
ADB Reboot-Bootloader
Kindle fire boots into FASTBOOT screen. YEY ME!!!
Now i'm not really sure where to go, never used fastboot before.
After using kindlefire recovery tool, doing a wipe then option 2 my kindle booted up into TWRP.
I tried rebooting from here and now I get a flashing kindlefire logo.
occasionally i manage to get it into fastboot with the factory cable, but it doesnt stay there long enough to do anything. I hoping this is maybe a power issue so I'm leaving it plugged in overnight to attempt to charge it.
hope this info helps you, I feel like I was at a point to simply re flash a rom but messed up by rebooting from twrp.
I did it!!!!
Managed to get it to stay in fastboot mode and ran kindlerecover tool again. now have a working kindle running APEX launcher. Have to read up tomorrow and get cyanogenmod back.

Grats i'm glad it worked out for you man, i'll try out the same when i get my cable lol i ended up buying a new tablet thinking no one would solve this problem and now i just may have two if i get mine working also if you try loli pop again make sure you install gapps for it, that was my first mistake that led to me messing up my kindle the second being the factory reset, the devs should either disable or warn people not to try it since your screwed once you do anyways i'll give an update once i try to recover my kindle, cheers.

At wits end with Kindle Fire HD 7" (7.5.1) - trying to install TWRP

Hi -
I have searched these forums multiple times, had numerous brower tabs open trying to follow instructions, and am at wits end. I am hoping that someone here can help me. I have a Kindle Fire HD 7" which had version 7.5.1 on it. I've rooted, tried using Fireflash to flash TWRP, bricked it twice, recovered it (with the fastboot cable that arrived in the mail 2 days ago), and now I am unable to switch on wifi (I did see the recent thread about this). I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The first two times before flashing the TWRP, I did not downgrade to 7.2.3. Could that have been why it bricked both times?
I just did another reset to factory defaults to try to get wifi back, to no avail. I am doing all of this so that I can install a ROM to escape all of the Amazon interface limitations.
Edit: I should add that I have so many files downloaded now (different versions, per each set of instructions) that I am confused.
Update: I just used SRT_v1.3.0 to restore factory recovery and now my wireless is enabled!
I am afraid to use Fireflash to flash TWRP again after two failures.
Thank you for any and all input!

HOW?? FOR GODS SAKE HOW???
I'm in the same boat, just bricked it now I think, red screen when turning on, thats it
Don't panic... get a factory (Fastboot) cable and use the Unbrick app to revive it. I took so many attempts to get it successfully flashed with CM12. I believe that I was using the incorrect boot image file and had not downgraded to 7.2.3 first. But I don't really understand the whole process. Good luck!
