Redirects to app store - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So recently I've been noticing, depending on the page, that I will be scrolling and suddenly the Play Store pops open and directs me to download a game or app. The most recent one was uber. I did a Google search and it looks like the android equivalent of a pop up ad, just much more intrusive. Are there any ways to stop this from happening or to block it?
Also, is there an ad blocker that blocks out those stupid clickbait and suggested for you ads that load on every single page and bog it down to all hell?

A question about malware

So this has been bothering me for a while.
But are you able to catch android malware through chrome? Either through a compromised website or malicious advert. Because I have ran into a few news sites /blogs that can actually bring up the play store when you interact with the page. *my history shows two sites behind the play store opening, trackerguru and directrev*
Assuming of course you leave everything at stock in settings. So no outside source app installs and etc.
Anyways what do you all think? Is there a reason to fret or is it at worst just a ad annoyingly opening the play store?

TouchPal Emoji App Hijacking ZTE Phones With Ads?

So within the past week or so one of the apps on my phone has been causing Ads to appear on my phone regardless of where I am on my phone (home screen, various apps, etc). They just start appearing. I figured my phone was infected because I've never seen this before. I started to go on Google's playstore and search for every app on my phone and check reviews. I figured whatever app was the culprit would have tons of 1 star reviews very recently. I searched for "TouchPal Emoji" and there's all the 1 star review saying they are getting ads on their phone.
This app was added to my ZTE Axon Pro by default. I'm not sure if it can be entirely removed from the phone either. I don't see it in my app list anymore but I'm not sure if its entirely gone. Anyone else experience this?
I had this as well, and went through my apps... I suspected the Touchpal - disabled it, and saw the side icon disappear (it was asking to install a game as well as the ads) trying to remove it - it would not let me - but asked if I wanted to roll back to the original touchpal. Did that and left it disabled.

Google Now/search crashing constantly after today's update

So they seemingly fixed the annoying Google Play Services bug with an update earlier today. However I also just received an update to the main Google app (to version 8.3.14.21.arm64) and I pretty much can't type more than a few letters - or occasionally a few words - into the Google search field (whether accessed through the search bar or from the main Google Now feed pane) without an instant crash back to the home screen.
Only way to use Google search now for me is the old fashioned round-about way through a web browser.
Anyone else having this problem?
First time in seven years I've had a smartphone that wasn't a Samsung and I'm almost immediately hit by two of the most obnoxious Google app issues I've had in years. Good thing I'm not paranoid...
Uninstalling and reinstalling the updates for Google appears to have fixed the issue.
That was unfortunately a temporary fix. It's back to crashing whenever I type a few letters in the search field.

getting spam all the time on a new setup s10

hi all,
i bought a new s10 a couple of weeks ago and after setting up everything and installing all of my apps which come from the playstore I am randomly receiving spam whenever i unlock my phone or during the use of whichever app.
what happens is that either chrome or (after i have uninstalled chrome) the samsung browser came in front and opens some **** websites..
i hope someone can give me some advice/hint where to look at, before i have to resignate and start by scratch.
what i already tried, is to uninstall a lot of apps i could have imagined to be the culprit and i also installed things like airpush detector, hoping they could find something.
PS: sorry if posted this thread in the wrong section. did not know where to put at all.
thank you and regards

problem solved.
malware found and deleted.
I found this article...
What you have to do is… go to the Settings followed by Application Manager or Apps here you will find a list of all the installed apps in your android phone. So scroll downwards and you will find an Unnamed App with no thumbnail installed in your phone… most probably this app appears at the last of the list. Just uninstall this app and you are all set. All thing become normal and avoid installing apps from any of the unknown resources.

Firefox auto starts

Firefox ver. 68.1.1 set as default browser on Verizon Galaxy S10 auto starts frequently and loads 2 or 3 tabs. One tab is always Amazon. How do I stop this?
I have signed out of Amazon and have tried Force Stop on Firefox but no success.
Maybe some malware / adware you've installed with another app? Try scanning your phone with Malwarebytes or similar...and take a look over some suspicious apps on your phone.
Mostly, Android doesn't support autostart by itself, so maybe an app starts a service which opens URLs. Did you try it with a different standard browser?
