Anyone having problems connecting to WiFi after unlocking device?

No, I unlocked my bootloader five days ago, and Ive been on wifi at home every night. Works okay for me

I am using a custom RoM on T-mobiles service. However, the first boot screen is ATT. How can I put my own picture in there? Is that even possible?

You really need to do even a basic search, this thread was started the day before yesterday. Can you at all see , why we can't have new threads started every other day about the same thing ?

Ok I am still a little unsure of how this whole google thing is gonna play out. So my question is: when the new ota update comes out with the new market app and all the updated google apps am I going to have to unroot my phone to get them and then reroot. I used the one click root app because all the other guides I found were very confusing. I know that the flaw that allowed the 1 click to work was fixed. So if I unroot to get the updates then I am gonna have to reroot thru the confusing means. I really don't want to do that cause I am afraid I might [email protected] something up. Please tell me there is an easier way to get the google app updates.
I am sure there will always be a way to "magically" get these apps. Don't worry too much about it.

Yea thats right but I'm chuggin coffee and strugglin to keep my eyes open. Also tryin to figure out what episode to watch next on hulu. It's a hard knock's life round here.

is there anyway to unlock a g1 with out paying some site. the device has been on tmobile for 2 weeks so asking them wont work rite now. any help would be great

Naw, changing a rom weather it's ADP or regular build won't effect the sim unlock. There is no generator or anything like there is on the winmo devices. But once it's unlocked it will stay unlocked no matter how many times you flash your phone.
Okay guys , I am having a serious problem here. I have been going back and forward from Cyanogen's 5.0.4.1 , King's Desire and Paul's. All of a sudden last night my internet on my phone just started acting as if it were on EDGE. Not cool lol. So i waited till this morning , here in Dallas it's 11:30 am , to see what was up and it's doing the same crap . Could someone direct me as to what to do ? Is it the radio ? I have the Latest Radio. Please help someone ?

Try a full system flatten. Wipe, flash. Don't flash the radio unless you have to as a last ditch effort.

What does a speed test read? I'm in Richardson right now and I'm at 550/500 in a crappy building. Still have 3G but it's iffy.

I'm in Plano. And for some reason its back to normal.
first thing i would of done is called t-mobile or who ever your provider is and asked if there was a coverage issue in your area..
yea, i'm in arlington. this morning, i had some really terrible data speeds. it appeared to clear itself up around noon.
all normal now.
The question is relevant, has anyone tried it yet? I'm just asking because I don't want to lose my warranity with unlocking on the first couple of days.

I saw your post, and the solution is not so complicated. The only thing I don't want to unlock the phone is the warranity. Bought 2 days ago, who knows what the future will bring, you know ...

Im not 100% sure it makes a difference, do you know what the CID is? if its something other than HTC_**** then maybe? but i dont think it does in the long run, Depends who you send it back to ha ha
