oh,ok that makes sense. I still wonder what changed though. I was hoping for it to be gingerbread, but it's still froyo. I wonder how long it will take us to get gingerbread with our phones so close in hardware to the nexus s,it shouldnt take long. I'm playing around with it on a sprint hero right now,and I have to say I would love to have it on the vibrant.

Hey everyone as Bajee is taking a break from RootBox, he has left updates to other Individuals. I decided I would start posting my own nightlies for people to use if they so wish. These builds will be for people who want more current nightlies than are officially posted. Please remember these nightlies are created using only RootBox sources and if there are any issues there is a chance it is my compiling that is at fault. I have been using my own nightlies and seem to have no performance issues that are not in the official nightlies.
I have seen others do this so I thought I would help out. Please leave some form of notice if you download a nightly from me (I.E. Thanks or comment) so that I can the number of downloads I am receiving.

If I can get enough people actually wanting to use my alternate downloads I will attempted to use goo.im as my file hosting site along with Android File Host
Downloads speed for me are superb. (faster than goo.im and d-h.st for me)
Thank you magestic!

Awesome thanks for the update!
Just flashed and everything is great! Still have the bugs from phablet and tablet modes (I guess bajee hasn't fixed those) but THERE R NO MORE FCS! Cheers!
On a side note, the lagging with Ruzzle (and I assume camera is also affected by it too, it's a commit that bajee plans to revert) has not been fixed... Yet. Not as bad as the FCing though.

no worries at all brother, thanks for posting your builds. good to know it seems to be unique to me. Ill flash the coming update, and if the lag remains, ill go ahead and do a full-wipe.
Hey buddy, I've been running your 04/06 build all day today and it's running great, no lag, no f/c's or apps just stopping in their tracks. Great job! Most importantly, thank you for taking time to bring us fresh builds.

To be clear: I deserve ZERO credit in this. ALL I am doing is sharing my nightly builds that I make on my own.
I will make them occasionally for those crack-flashers out there who would like a nightly build on days when the official Carbon build fails for some reason.
ALL credit goes to the fantastic Carbon team and the work that they do.

I recommend Banks Gapps STANDARD.
I use TWRP. I recommend you do the same
(Actually, I use TWRP-MultiRom. It's awesome. Check it out.)
If you're interested in what has changed, I recommend looking at these
http://review.carbon-rom.com/#/q/status:open+branch:kk,n,z
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:open+branch:cm-11.0,n,z
If you want to build on your own:
Do this: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_mako
and replace this line: repo init -u git://github.com/CyanogenMod/android.git -b cm-11.0 with this line:
repo init -u git://github.com/CarbonDev/android -b kk
(ps--I take no responsibility if you brick your phone, yada yada yada)

Camera
I have been having camera flash issues on the official Carbon 4.3 nightly. To your knowledge has this issue been addressed? Now that the menu button has been fixed, having a properly functioning camera is my only hold back. Running Mokee rom at the moment, cannot wait to get back to Carbon.

Perhaps there's a reason this build failed in jenkins. It's completely unusable. System UI constantly crashes.

Huh, that's odd. I dirty-flashed over 0819 (not 0820) and everything went to hell. I though I did something wrong so I flashed again (wiping cache of course) but with the same problem. Flashed 0819 and everything is good again.
If you happen to have this nightly or Dec 09, 08,10, 07 , could you send me a download link please?
I am thinking of use that build with tablet UI
Thank you very much

Androidmeda is paying for jenkins, if i am not wrong. That's why he is able to said feb 14th is last date for updates. And he transferred gerrit credentials to Mm7. Shutting down jenkins doesn't mean armv6 progress will hault, devs will work but there won't be any more compilations on jenkins.
