Has anyone gotten this?
I'm currently running 22.11.6
Its upgrading to 22.21.11 AT&T
I just got the OTA for this version as well.
Not sure if I can do it since I'm rooted.

You should be able to sideload it using ADB. Just moved it from catch to platform-tools folder.

Or I wonder if putting SuperSU into survival mode will work like the last time. I'm at work so I don't want to risk it until I get home.
I'm on T-Mobile and just got the same exact notification, I tipped AndroidPolice on it maybe 20 minutes ago. I'm looking through logcat and I can't find a URL anywhere though, it seems like it's a bit different than the Nexus phones.
got the OTA as well on my Pure Edition, non rooted. downloading/installing as I type...
Edit: removed my original link just in case it was tied to my account.
I used adb logcat to find my URL though, and after it was downloaded, validated it on my PC. I then uploaded it to Mega.co.nz.
It's about 49mb.

I was on the official 5.0 update. I was on the leaked soak build, but yesterday I went back to 4.4.4 and then sideloaded the official update because it didn't seem to be pushing to me when I went back to 4.4.4. I am a part of the official soak test from Motorola but originally sideloaded so that I could get Lollipop earlier.

No problem! What bugs in particular are you interested in me testing? I can check for you, but I don't really know what to report back if I don't know what I should be checking.

Bluetooth audio playback was one that I remember reading a lot about. Also, there was a SMS bug and some users had trouble receiving calls while on LTE. I was too big of a chicken to sideload the either .5 or .6, so I'm just repeating stuff that I read on other posts here and on other forums.

Gotcha! Unfortunately I don't really use Bluetooth audio playback so I won't be able to report back and I use Hangouts almost exclusively I was considering a pair of Jaybird Bluebuds X though for some bluetooth earbuds so it would be awesome if they did fix a problem with it.

i was on 4.4.4 then i updated to the SOAK .5 update. Then i upgraded to the .6 update.
today i got the 22.21.11. i was rooted and it failed. tried a full unroot and it failed again.
flashed back to 4.4.4 then i tried to go to the .6 and it failed
went back to 4.4.4 then tried .5 to .6 to .11 still failed.
i have the recovery kxe21.187-42
is that the problem? is there a newer recovery other than what came with 4.4.4?
EDIT i flashed the recovery for 5.0 and it still failed.

I went from 4.4.4 to the official release (aka .6) and then to this if you are curious. No rooting or modifications, other than manually applying the update.

It ended up being two different things.
The recovery from 4.4.4
And the fact that I used the tool that botched the modem. After I flashed the right modem all is well.

Hi guys,
Can anyone shed some light on this. Was told by someone there was a new update out. I have a rooted phone.
I saw the update and failed to remember what version they said was out but just clicked update anyway.
Downloaded the update fine, said yes to install and it all seemed to go through fine.
The phone rebooted and it said android was upgrading.
And yet I haven't noticed any changed such as someone telling me chrome OS is the main browser now and yet I can't see that.
Checked the version and it shows 81.5.39001.XT890.Retail.en.GB.
I checked for an update and it said there is no update at present.
So confused. Did it update? And if not, how can I do this on a rooted phone?
Thanks a lot for any help.
It updated fine
Thanks Phil, I thought the latest update however was 81.5.39002. Could be wrong though.
Nope, that's the latest version.
Cheers. The main suprise I had was that it retained my root which I didn't expect.

Hi,
I have a rooted I9295, after the last ota update (2 weeks ago) i noticed that my wifi stopped working and i get an annoying message "Prevention Information". I think the update failed on the radio part which is causing this.
I'm currently on android 4.2.2 with baseband version MF5 and ML3 buildnumber.
can anyone point to a fix ?
thx !

I'm not sure if this is the right modem, but it could be. Hopefully somebody else will reply with a proper solution.
The latest OTA update was for 4.3. Looks like you didn't update at all, but the process borked something up on your phone. Maybe a factory reset will fix your phone. Yeah, major pain, but had you gotten the 4.3 update you'd really be screwed since going back would not be an option and you would have lost root.

Unfortunately we're not so lucky in Europe, still no 4.3 update.
The latest OTA update we had here added some more Samsung bloatware and a nice message warning you to close the flappy charge port after charging.
I had a rooted 4.2.2, and i think that caused the problem.
Going to try to update the radio with Odin.

So i ended up doing this:
First i flashed the entire phone (since i couldn't find just the modem)
http://honai-android.blogspot.nl/2014/01/how-to-update-galaxy-s4-active-i9295.html
After that i rooted the phone again

And that fixed the issues.
Everything works fine again, and i didn't loose any data in the process.
Hey all,
Thought I'd let those of you that have an AT&T Tab S 8.4 know that Lollipop has been released today. Happened to be on the AT&T Software update page here: http://www.att.com/esupport/softwareUpdateArticle.jsp?sid=KB425812&cv=820 and noticed it listed the update.
Manually checked for updates on my tablet, it's downloading now. My 8.4 on AT&T is totally stock.
Downloading now... 1.1GB
manually checking shows nothing for me
Mine wasn't too laggy after the upgrade. But as I know from places like XDA usually a very good idea to do a full system wipe which I did.
What I am most thankful for is there is now an option to remove that Samsung screen that has those Samsung widgets that go full page. Can't recall what it is called. Yeah I know could have got rid of that using a 3rd party launcher in 4.4 but so happy Samsung put option there to disable it finally. To get rid of it, long press blank space like you were going to add a widget, then click Home Screen Settings, then uncheck "Content Home Screen".
Has anyone who rooted with kingroot updated? I'm assuming it'll kill root, just curious if I need to unroot prior, or if the update will still install. I'll post the answer tomorrow after I update.

I'm rooted with Kingroot and it's currently downloading the update. If you load Xposed Framework and Wanam Xposed, under Security hacks there's a setting for Fake System Status that allows you to set it to Original.
I'll follow up when the download finishes.
Update: The download completed but the install failed and then got stuck in a boot loop. Ended up having to go to the Samsung place at Best Buy to have them re-flash KitKat. Now the tab is telling me I have to wait 24 hours to check for updates. I'm sure everything will be good now that I'm back on a factory image.

When they re-flashed KitKat did it wipe your tablet? The OTA failed me when rooted, failed me after un-installing adaway and un-rooting and removing KingUser. I cannot do a firmware upgrade via Kies 3 as it's not available. I cannot do an emergency firmware recover via Kies 3 as it's not soft bricked. I can't find either the KitKat or the Lollipop firmwares online anywhere... Currently I have a tablet, works fine, I did a factory reset (in the back of my mind knew this wouldn't work) that has a custom status and won't take the OTA.
If anyone knows where I can find the KitKat firmware, or the OTA, please let me know.
Or maybe someone could grab the OTA off their tablet after downloading prior to updating and share the wealth with the community???
Has any kingroot user tried triangle away, unroot via kinguser, and take the OTA?
Also just realized that if I can fail the OTA, I can obviously download it... Where do I grab it from if I wanted to flash it with odin or sideload?

OTA came down successfully while not rooted. The reflash at Best Buy didn't wipe it.
As far as I know, the factory images for the AT&T versions aren't available anywhere, or at least I've been unable to find them. They obviously exist because I'm pretty sure the guy at Best Buy used Kies to flash with an image that's available to him from Samsung.
I re-rooted last night in the attempt of using triangle away to clear customs status, then un-rooting. This was odd because device status still shows custom but download mode shows official and Knox is 0.
While I was briefly rooted again I downloaded the OTA in the hopes of copying it to my PC and updating via ADB Sideload... Couldn't find it. If anyone knows where Samsung puts these I'll grab it and post it to share.
im not rooted, performed a factory reset, and my device still doesn't see any updates. Can somebody provide a link to the ROM?

Turns out there is a imei problem with the tablet that is preventing the download. My imei number is paired with a IPhone 4. Anyway will take a few day to fix then the upgrade should work.
I get the same. I wiped my device hoping for a different outcome, and still no update.
I found this in the thread below.
It is an old tread but I'll comment anyway. SM-T807 is the 3G version while SM-T805 is the LTE version. Both Hardware (CPU/GPU) and comms modules are different. So 805 LTE (which has Lollipop) firmware won't work for 807 (no Lollipop is currently available nor Samsung plans to release soon).

John.
After not being able to take the OTA after rooting, even after un rooting, not being able to find the OTA and sideload (not in /cache), and not able use Kies or Odin I finally took it to the Samsung kiosk at my bestbuy.
They reflashed 4.4.2, didn't wipe anything, and immediately downloaded and successfully installed the lollipop update after getting home and on WiFi.
Just don't mention that you rooted ;')
Not sure what this is yet. Non rooted, stock image.
5.1.1?? Will report back...
Not 5.1.1
No idea as they haven't posted changelog, but hopefully a fix for MicroCell issues everyone is experiencing.

You mean since 5.1.1 was supposed to hit the S6's "in June?"
This is getting ridiculous, we need an update from 5.0.2, the memory issues I'm dealing with even on XtreStoLite are almost unbearable
Exactly and as updates for 5.1 come out for other carriers we get updates for random att crap that are almost a month old
It's sad to say that the latest AT&T OTA patches the export for ping pong root, don't take the OTA, because you cannot downgrade the Odin fails

They know because it says on the Ping Pong Root thread not to update for anything past May 15th as the method for root has been patched
I'm curious if there are any other undocumented changes besides the 2 official changes listed earlier. It feels like a fairly big patch for a fix to an phone location and a kernel security fix.

AT&T Software Update is the main one, but there are a few others - I don't have an AT&T ROM on mine right now to help out, but it's been posted a few times already (I think I even posted those once)
Just freeze att software update. Then it can't even run so no downloads. I got lucky I clicked on update after reading it in Android central but didn't want to install it. Postponed couple of times but somehow it automatically loaded the update process. I was like sh#t. When it booted up it said a problem updating. And then I blocked the updater. My root almost gone lol

Shouldnt it get 5.0.1/5.1.1.. and then receive update to Android6.0?

Edit- got the 6.0 update after a few days..!!yeah!
Got mine todat and also on 5.0 and buildnumber LRX210 and also doesnt update. no idea why but it just doesnt. Its either waiting for it to decide its time to update or do the update manually
it takes time to update, usually. sometimes it comes right away, but thats relatively rare.

I waited for two weeks before I gave in and flashed the factory image. Constantly checking for the update does nothing and i do not believe it will harm your chances. Nexus devices are among the easiest devices to upgrade manually. I would suggest using wugfresh's root toolkit or (if you are familiar with ADB and Fastboot) flash them manually
PS: I had a problem while flashing with the toolkit unlike many others , So go manual if it does not work
Sad...
As I have just bought it.. Won't it be good if I go to Motorola store and show them my device??
! Ur kidding abt the slows the update thing ryt..??
Coz I must have checked for software updates like a thousand times lol
well in order to learn about adb and fastboot i first used fastboot to restore to stock android 5 and then went all the way to 5.1.1 using adb sideload. Now the phone is hungry and is having some elctrified meal and when he is done with that i will update it to android 6. Took a little time to get here but now i do know how to use fastboot and adb. And how to get into recovery..for me it is power, then volume down followed by volume up..any other key combo doesnt work
I got mine a few days back and it did not update so i flashed myself its a bit of a mission with the OTAs, next time i will go with the full factory rom from google

Won't it be a good option going to a Motorola store ...and have the
Issue analyzed by them?

there isn't one here..i bought the phone online with a mobile contract. Besides, the phone is working fine, only problem is not updating by itself.
But could also be a google update server problem.
I got the phone rooted after going back to 5.1.1 stock with factory image and now looking for a good custom rom.
Help me out then..
I'm on 5.0 build number LRX210
Can i flash directly the 6.0 factory image or i have to flash each update?

i flashed directly to the 6.0 factory image using this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/guide-flash-factory-images-nexus-6shamu-t2954008
I used method 2
Method 2 for me also worked.

i dont know..maybe something in the rom that locks it. Might need to wait for answer from someone with more knowledge on this matter
Update.. yeah!!!
Received an update to 5.1 from 5.0
After tht booted up my shamu and 5.1.1 update was already waiting.. after it 3-4 small updates arrived one after the other.. and finally the most coveted 6.0 update arrived..
Marshmallow seems great...!!!!
