I'm looking for as basic of an AOSP rom as posssible. Dev is full of AOKP roms that are all the same just different names. I dont want hovering crap, fancy notifications tweaks and colors, pretty nav bar buttons, just basic AOSP and I'll change what I want myself with GravityBox in Xposed if I feel the need....

Which ROM for the HTC One offers the most customization as far as changing UI colors and setting up color themes goes?
Sense/GE/whatever base doesn't really matter, I'll switch to whatever.
Currently using Trickdroid 8.0... its ok, but I'm wondering if there's another ROM that offers more.
Any links would be appreciated
There are many universal themes in the theme section. Look there. Also, this question belonged in the q&a do expect it to be moved. Happy surfing

Dam some people are lazy..all the info you need is in the op's..go lookin
Right now, ViperOne ROM offers most tweaks and mods to play with.. Never tried it, but as far as other devices go, little can stand up to this team on customisations... go have fun.

ViperOne ROM is the Best customizable ROM for HTC One, you can change almost everything
If you're ok with ir not working (yet) and a little bit inferior camera, then revolt, rootbox are extremely customizable. Add in your launcher of choice (nova for me) and you're good to go. Things like halo, pie, ribbons, nav bar, nav ring, hybrid per app settings, lock screen widgets, etc make these, in my opinion, the most customizable roms.

Is there any mods to use AOSP style multitasking? I would just try an AOSP rom but i'm a bit worried about the bricking problems.

I think there are some ROMs with that as an option, but I'm not sure which ones off the top of my head. Check the OPs.
swapps
theres an App called Swapps that allows you to kind of do the whole multitasking thing, check it out i believe its in the play store and i used it on my E3D and actually liked it a lot and just havent actually re installed it. check it out and let us know what you think.
Which do people prefer on their Xz1?
I personally use Gravitybox as Xblast has been more hassle than it is really worth.
Anyone else use something different?
gravity box, pretty neat.
i just wish it had an option to leave the notification bar unmodded.. i like other features of gravitybox, but the navbar i whould actually like to leave as is...

Good shout on the statusbar mod.
Xblast is the one for me, nice and simple
Only need gravity box, there isn't anything i need that xblast could provide.
GravityBox works fine for me, but CRT Screen Off animation doesn`t look that beautiful, as it should be (Too fast or smth like that)
Is there a comparison of the two anywhere? I can't find one and I'd like to see the two feature list side by side....

Yeah a comparison is something I would also be interested in.
Gravity Box
i whould like to swtich my post from earlier, i started using xblast recently and it seems better.
more costumization options and you can leave the startus bar unharmed unlike in gravitybox, plus the features that lets you choose notification light for different apps is free, unlike gravitybox which is only in paid version.
I use Xblast, have better customizations but I like Advanced Power-off from GravityBox. Remain unclear to me why I cannot have Transparent bars with both of them, gravity or xblast don't do this job on 4.3.

Please list your favorite xposed for the HTC One Mini 2.
Currently the only one I'm using is Sense 6 Toolbox which is great so far.
I am currently using "tinted statusbar", xstana for changing the navbar and of course "sense 6 toolbox"

Does sense Toolbox have an extended power menu? Can't seem to find it..
Noob question here.
How did you manage to install xposed framework ? I can't find a way to root my mini 2.
Thanks.

Look into the q&a section. That's plenty of guides in there. [emoji4]
No Lollipop for Mini 2? Let's just pretend to make it look like we got it
If anybody is interested, just a palliative cure for the - hopefully temporary - loss of lollipop - using xposed:
Search and use the following modules:
- Flat style Colored Bars - It will make your status bar (and navbar if you want) colored as in lollipop.
- Monster UI 4.0 - Theme your device to material design - You can theme almost everything (dialogs, main colors etc) and make it look like it's lollipop.
Enjoy

I am gonna go with 'a little bit'. I've personally seen a minor difference since the modules work in the background. But if you keep the number of modules to a minimum, you should not have any problem whatsoever

Using only the modules I have written of, there's no sensible difference, at least I haven't noticed any
What is the best ROM for the LG g2 VS98026a? Make sure that it uses the 26a base and not any other.

IMO after messing with a bunch of ROMs for this phone the best choice is stock rooted with Xposed G2Tweakbox and DPI app settings. I also use LMT for pie and no navigation bar. Boring I know but it I love it.

that looks pretty cool. I am using spirit ROM right now. It is based on Cynogenmod 11 so it has insane amounts of customization.
Running stock with Xposed also mainly because I like having the ability to use xdabbeb's XCam.
PA is pretty rock solid minus the standard small bugs that are on pretty much all AOSP roms.
