I was trying to get my HTC one from Rogers back to stock to take advantage of their suretap promotion that is running right now.
I had gotten to the point where I had installed the Rogers RUU RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_Rogers_WWE_4.19.631.9_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_351317_signed_2.
From what I was reading once I had that I could flash a stock recovery and that would allow me to use OTA updates again. Everything was ok up to the point where I tried to install the OTA update. The update failed and when I rebooted my phone it showed a blue screen with little darker blue lines on it, then a purple screen with little yellow lines on it before it stops on the HTC one screen and doesn't do anything else.
I can boot into fastboot and recovery but can't seem to get anything to work from there.
Has anyone had this happen to them or can anybody help me get my phone working again? Thanks in advance!

Are you able to re-run the ruu from fastboot?
Your version-main in bootloader reads as 1.29.631.4, yet the ruu is 4.19.631.9?

I had tried a couple of times with no luck but since you asked I tried again and it worked! Thanks!
I had those screens also and then it would sit at the HTC logo screen. I rebooted the device by pressing the power and up button or maybe both volume button and power then on the third try when i clicked power and down it went to the bootloader whoohoo I thought I would have to wait for it to die. Was not repsonding to adb or fastboot queries.

Please state exactly what is your problem and how you got in the predictament. Also, post a fastboot getvar all and remove the imei and serial number of your device. Your phone is probably different than the previous persons phone.

As for yours, your version-main is all messed up, probably caused by the riffbox, but there was no need to do that, the 155 error you got was just a bad download, try and download this ruu and run it, otherwise, get the firmware for it and flash that first, im basing this info on the radio (baseband) which matches this ruu.
you will need to change the CID to HTC__001 or add superCID to the android-info.txt file before running

If the issues you listed in the first post are true, then you are toast.
However, I hope you were exaggerating only.
So, you need to either use a RUU or ADB Push/Sideload.
You said you installed ARHD 52, but now you have no OS.. That doesn't add up.
Can you still ADB PUSH?

Change the computer, or USB port, or USB cable. Thats NOT normal. Or your phone is on the last legs.
Hello all!
I'm an M7 user for almost 2 years and today I bought a used one for my girlfriend.
It came with the Viper one 7.01 rom.
This is way to complicated for my girlfriend and misses some standard stuff that she wants (can't even find the play store on it).
So I decided to get it back to a stock HTC version with Sense 5.5 (and update to 6.0).
I've now been busy a whole night, but I can't seem to get it to work. When using the RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_HTC_Europe_4.19.401.9_R_Radio_4A.23.3263.28_10.38r.1157.04L_release_353069_signed_2-1.exe file, it comes up with an 158 error. And when I try to flash it with fastboot and the Guru_Reset_M7_2.24.401.8.zip file, it gives me error: FAILED (remote: 24 parsing android-info fail)
I also tried with a Vodafone file (Guru_Reset_M7_2.24.161.1.zip), because the Phone came with a Vodafone bill. But this didn't work either...
I've managed to get it S-OFF with rumrunner and tried it Locked and unLocked. The tampered line is gone.

I really have no idea what I should do next.
I just want this Phone to have the latest stock HTC one rom with sense 6.0, nothing more (and preferably future ota updates, if this is even possible).
But untill now I just can't flash any other rom.
I'm probably missing something and really hope one of you have the answer.
Gonna get some sleep now and try more tomorrow...

flash the 4.19.401.9 firmware first then flash the ruu. Its a well known issue of 4.xx.xxx.x RUUs, you have to flash the firmware first.
also check your MD5 to make sure your ruu isn't corrupted.
Thanks for your quick reply.
I flashed the firmware, it's now got the dark boot bootloader with firmware 4.19.401.9. But I still can't flash the ruu (exe file with correct md5). Comes back with an error 150.
Phone still boots up normally into Viper One 7.0.1
Also tried a different file download, didn't work.
Tried different computer, didn't work.
I'm gonna try some more stuff, but any help would be appreciated.

Why? You must flash the firmware that come with the RUU, not a modded firmware with the black bootloader...

With s-off you don't need to relock the bootloader to flash a RUU. Anyway glad to know that your problem is solved.
Well, I'm not that advanced with flashing and modding bootloaders, firmware and ruu's...
So I searched on the 4.19.401.9 firmware you told me to install and the only one I found was that one with the black bootloader. That's why I used it
Are you saying that if I would have flashed it with the firmware that came with the ruu, it might have worked right away?
But I only had the exe ruu file, so would that mean I had to extract the firmware from it, or download the zip somewhere?
As for locking the bootloader... I understood that if I want to get official HTC ota updates, that it has to be locked. Could have misunderstood, but at least it works great now and my girlfriend is happy as ever.
Hey guys,
My M7 seems to be stuck in a boot loop. When I start it I get the HTC logo, then the screen will turn off and it'll restart. I can still access fastboot. I can flash clockwork mod and boot to it with occasional success but I haven't gotten TWRP to work. I can access adb through clockwork though so maybe that can be useful. I've tried flashing the latest RUU and a couple older versions via fastboot; usually I can get the phone to boot for a couple of minutes and then it will restart and be back in the bootloop. I have s-off and the bootloader is unlocked currently. I've also tried flashing the RUU relocked, no success.
I have the AT&T 32GB version in black. Here's the fastboot getvar all response:

The last thing I tried to do is flash an old RUU that's why the software version is old. I starting having these problems when I was on version 7.23 I believe. If anyone has some ideas for me I'd appreciate it!
Hello Guys,
Hope someone can help me as I am out of ideas, with this M7 802W.
A friend has given me his phone to unbrick for him, as whilst he was trying to root it something went wrong and it just kept on bootlooping at the HTC splash screen.
Not a problem I thought, just flash TWRP, a custom rom and away we go.
But NO, when I flash the Rom Maximus Hd 3.0, which I have used before, the Rom installs fine, but once on the unlock screen rather than seeing the normal home screen, I am faced with the HTC splash screen, the phone then reboots and the cycle starts again.
Ok, so that didn't work (strange) but bring on the RUU files (These always work, Right??)
So I then flashed stock recovery, I have tried running the RUU zip using Fastboot and also from SD card and each one fails to run, I am running out of ideas?
From SD card just fails., no notification.
From fastboot flash Zip Rom.Zip command I end up with this
FAILED (remote: 12 signature verify fail)
Does anyone know of something that I might of missed, that might bring this device back to life.
