Working MIUI Rom for Sprint HTC One M7 - Sprint HTC One (M7)

After trying all the MIUI roms available for this phone on this site and not finding any that worked with SMS/MMS, I have found on the official MIUI site a rom that these work on.
So far I haven't seen anything force close or not working.
I'm sure there are other people who love this rom as much as I do and want something that will work as a daily driver.
I included a link to download directly from their site.
http://miuirom.xiaomi.com/rom/u29006323/4.11.28/miui_m7_yueyue_4.11.28_d34bdd299d_4.4.zip

Thanks for this.. are we the HTC One m7 s? or the plain HTC One m7?
---------- Post added at 10:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:19 AM ----------
NM, M7 S - the download link you have matches the m7s version
http://en.miui.com/download-253.html

We are the M7 S. I've tried all the roms on XDA and on their site and that is the one that works the best. The camera isn't as good as the sense version. Not sure if someone can port that or not. You can download the TV (remote control) app from the Play Store and it worked with my TV.
I'm curious if you find any issues in this one. I have only used it for a day. The only thing i noticed is you have to set the network type again on reboot, but I usually never reboot my phone so it's not really a problem.

Is the M7 S just the CDMA version?

Open dialer and type in *#*#info#*#* it should open a new page. Go to phone information and change it to one of the options with CDMA+LTE. Data should be working after that. It takes awhile to connect just like every other nonsense based ROM. This has to be done on every reboot unless it was fixed recently. I also used the most updated one 4.12.X, its the bottom one with a Chinese uploader.

For anyone who doesn't already know, I have copied an overview of the changes in Sense that can be expected from this update (as well as 2.3.3 of course)
Engadget said:
HTC has also taken the opportunity to tweak Sense on the Desire S as well, with a set of changes you'll notice more readily. One of them is that the jumbo clock / weather widget now has an alternative clock / social feed option, whereby you get the latest update from your Facebook or Twitter friends as a little blurb under the time. More valuable, however, is HTC's integration of a Quick Settings menu alongside the usual Notifications in the drop-down Android menu. This gives you close to instant access to options you'll likely want to use quite often, such as toggling the WiFi, GPS, or mobile hotspot functions on and off. We'd be even happier to see this menu take over the position of the Personalize item next to the phone dialer at the bottom of the home screen, but having it at all is a move forward.
Sense also gets an overdue upgrade to the way it manages applications -- with the icon grid now scrolling up and down in a paginated fashion and being accompanied by subcategories for your downloaded and most frequently used apps

Aussie network branded versions added to the Stock ROMS thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13036584#post13036584
Hi guys, I am quite a noob in the Android world and I have a concern about the update: My Incredible S comes from Bell and was unlocked. I am using on the Fido network. Is it safe to update to Gingerbread? Will I loose the unlock or something?
Anyways, can't wait to get the update!
Thanks!
If you phoen was purchased network unlocked, the update won't change that, you will get a version of the ROM that is unbranded over the air
My phone has the Bell ROM with the Bell apps that I can't get rid off and it was unlocked so I can use it on Fido.
Anyone in Canada have the update as yet? If so, are you using the international version or Bell/Virgin/Sakstel version?

Holics ROM PlayStation Certified

Good Night,
I know this may not go in here but I can't post where it should be still... Message restriction... so anyway.
I was going through the roms for the HTC Vivid and I got an eye on the Holics Rom, it looks really polished as for the features that are mentioned on the post.
One of the features I got my eye on was the PlayStation Certified change on the latest version.
Still don't know how this will work on the Vivid... do we get the PSN store or is it that we get the full driver to connect a ps3 controller.
Just wanted to know how this works a little better before hand.
Even so will be flashing this Rom soon.
Thanks
Bump...

from what i read around the net, there should be a remote play app. i don't see it =/ supposedly you're supposed to goto register device under remote play on your playstation and then hit the remote play icon on your phone and connect over wifi with a password. i don't see remote play anywheres on my holics rom. when i get home i'll look through the holics.zip to see if maybe there's an app around.

Downloading now. Going to try to flash it on Stock ICS (De-Odexed, Zipaligned, rooted) on a AT&T HTC Vivid. Will let you know how it goes. May take a while because I am going to do a backup first. I play Star Wars The Old Republic and use a mobile authenticator and the only way to restore it is to call them and answer a bunch of security crap then have them remove it so you can reinstall the app and re-add it to your account with a new serial number, so I'm not going to flash ANY new roms until there's a JB ROM (or, my 90 day return policy on my Vivid gets close to running out and there's no JB in sight.. then I'm switching to the One X since it's only $50 more)
---------- Post added at 04:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:48 AM ----------
Okay, it works. Well, except for the double take. I'm pretty sure that's been fixed in other versions, but I don't know if those work on the vivid.
I thought the voice didn't work at first because it would do the beep to let me know it was listening, and the chime when it found results but no voice. Turns out, the beep and chime use alert/notification volume while the voice uses media volume which I had turned all the way down.
So yeah, this works with rooted stock perfectly except for double take and saying "Google"instead of pressing the Mic

....and there goes my only reason for wanting JB. Literally for Google Now. Between this and all of the ICS-themed stuff out there, I have a perfect mix. ICS launcher (Apex), Sense 3.6 apps (peep, friend stream, etc) ICS Dialer, Calculations (what the stock ICS calculator SHOULD have been), Sense Weather, and GOOGLE NOW!
This phone already runs smooth as silk, so the only feature I was willing to abandon it for was the Siri-Stomping Google Now goodness.

This is awesome! It seems to work really well. Voice search and response seems to work just great! Only "issue" so far is that the responses give units of measure in Imperial, and being from Canada, I expect metric. This isn't an issue with the port, just with Now itself I guess.
Anyway, love it! Thanks for the hard work of all Devs involved!
PS - I flashed on Holics 1.2 using CWM.

[Q] Can you give me advice on a ROM for what I need?

I got screwed up by the stupid AT&T update... it only half finished. I don't know why. I kept telling it NO, not to update. But at some point it must have on a reboot. In the update section it says, "Continue update" but clicking that does absolutely nothing.
UNFORTUNATELY, now I have NO WIFI and NO BLUETOOTH. Can't see any wifi routers now, and can't see any bluetooth devices. UGH! DAMN AT&T! I didn't even ask for an update. SO....
HELP ME PICK A ROM!
I used to flash ROMs on my older PocketPC phones... I flashed a Gingerbread ROM on my Galaxy Tab, and I flashed a ROM on my HTC Aria.
So tell me what your opinions are about some ROMs. Here's some features I'd like to have:
- ICS
- Newest Sense
- HTC's button dial command and voice dial that was left out of ICS (bastards).
- Native wifi hotspot
If there's a ROM that combines that and is STABLE, tell me about it! I want opinions.
There's really only one option and it's not on xda.
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using xda premium
Are you just gonna leave me hanging with that?
I'm by no means an expert, but I've recently taken the dive into helping a friend with his AT&T Vivid. After looking around at all the ICS ROMs out there, the one I settled on was Extreme Holiday Dream X2...doesn't have the newest sense version, but it's running 3.6, so it's fairly recent. Also (again, not an expert), I'm not sure any newer version of sense would work on the Vivid.
Now as a heads up, most people don't seem to have issues with the ROM (and it is a very nice one), but we have had some problems that may or may not be related. First is WiFi constantly attempting to turn on and never working, which I think I've narrowed down to the fact the ROM uses the stock kernel, so I'll be attempting to fix that tonight.
Other problem is the ROM Toolbox not working, though I think that may be linked to the way I rooted the device since SU isn't giving permissions to it (set to auto-allow). That I'll be attempting to fix with SuperSU.
I know this ROM is stable for just about everyone else so far (no actual known bugs), but I don't know if it meets your last two prerequisites, since I'm not really all that familiar with Android devices in general yet. I'll ask my friend and see if he knows.
Due to my permissions right now as a new member, I can't link you to it, but you should be able to find it by googling. The thread I found was on rootzwiki.
Hope this helps. If I find out more about the button dial/voice dial and native WiFi hotspot support, I'll let you know.
EDIT: So I asked about the features, seems like it has the button dialer and native WiFi Hotspot, but not the voice dialer. I'm sure there's an app for it, but it's not native.
