Great work. Will try in multirom
Thanks, all seems to be fine just now. I had a go at AOKP last night but it just doesn't seem ready yet, will have another go at that in a couple of nights.
Root seems to be working in this so SuperSU may not be needed.
SlimLP still has the high DPI setting, if you want to change that then I would recommend :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.texdroider.texdroider_dpi&hl=en_GB
I've been changing DPI on the nexus 4 since I got it via build.prop and I change it to 280.

The Nexus 4, using the files released by Google is not an LTE device, when it was released they had to remove the LTE functionality, that's the way it has remained. Custom roms use the Google code for the radio, as such LTE functionality is missing.
There are custom radios available which use the original radio that was released with the phone (version 0.33 which supported LTE before they were forced to remove this) customised with newer code to add in LTE functionality. I'm not going to be installing that into the rom, what SlimRoms build is what I release.
If you do want to add LTE functionality there are sources on XDA for this, although I don't know whether or not they will work with this rom.
Here's an app that will install an LTE enabled radio on the Nexus 4, I don't use LTE so I won't be using it, I would advise a nandroid backup before you try it though.

Would it be okay for me to dirty flash this over one of your CM12 builds?
Can anyone post a screenshot of what's inside the Interface menu?
Hello djsubterrain ... A lot of thanks for this great rom and on my daily device (N4) run this rom very fast, smooth and stable ... I`m happy at the moment but my question is, on which version based the Slim ROM? AOSP, AOKP or CM12? Thanks in advance for your help and keep it up the good work :good: ... I wish you a nice Sunday and see you soon!
Best regards
leather.face
Slim is and has always been based on AOSP.

Hi
I find this a little bit....humm... risky
You share a work, so there is no critics to do on this, but you have made it for a device you doesnt own.
In a normal case, each user take the risk on his own awareness, but here you have not tested at all what you are sharing.
I would recommend to wait..

Well, normally I would agree with you. In fact, I hoped to find someone who could test it on purpose, at least until I could buy a Nexus S for me and test it on my own.
Consider this thread as a development diary until I say it could be tried without risks.
I have tested on my i9020T and it does not boot. Just sits on the Google loading screen. I also tested it with the boot.img from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1350829
Drew Garen will be releasing a "Stable" version of ICS later today. Koush has yet to announce anything about his build. I'm waiting to see what people say about this one.

Flashing right now, will post back in a few hours and let you know how it is running.
Edit: Flashing was smooth, installed the MIUI theme from goo.im and then reboot and am getting constant FC's on com.android.phone. As soon as I hit okay to accept it another one pops up. I am not sure if this is theme related or the ROM itself.
Also, there are no GAPPS included but I found them here: http://goo.im/devs/ChameleonOS/gapps
Edit 2: I tried installing the GAPPS from the above link and got stuck in a bootloop.

I can not install any app that needs root, they say that I don't have root, is anyone else facing something like this?

Check that you actually enable root, its not enabled by default so go into about phone and tap build # until it says you are now a developer to unlock the development settings where root is.

@cj360 any way u can build this for the mb886 because the xt925 build works great but auto rotation and data wont work properly
Sent from my MB886 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Obviously cause its a different device. But I would rather help someone else build it as xt926,xt925,xt907 have one or two changes between them and when things work on one they'll work on all three and vice versa. As well as I just dont want to build for more than three devices.
Thanks mate, now my only problem is thoso random reboots when I try to listen something with a bluetooth headset

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
These are based on AOKP, my own nightly builds which are tested by me to ensure there are no major issues, I am using them as my daily ROM, My builds will have features added regularly.

Weird. Such a nice rom and no reaction from community... I'd like to ask, are there any benefits sourced from the fact it is official and you are a part of team? Nice to see you being someone keeping L90 development at high pace
The advantage of being official is that i don't have to waste time compiling it on my old laptop because it's done by build server

Jpc kernel base if he is saying its the same source as his resurrection remix
Been on this for a few hours an don't have any issues with it. Baseband Unknown is the same as moth other roms and I asked the guy who built the Dirty Unicorns rom how he got it working, so crossing fingers
@ming3r
If he has a fix do share. Because the new lg dev kernel has the same issue
There's a new kernel? WAIT ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS WORKS? https://github.com/lg-devs/android_kernel_lge_msm8974-caf
Unrelated note, I'm not sure if it's a Kernel issue. Both the DU rom and PA all use JPC's kernel.
Only problem I'm having is the play services force closer which I wasn't having on PAC but seemed like I was on everything else
Did you try the gapps I linked? Looks like they fixed some stuff with that Banks one.

Edit: or at the very least keep it private.
Anyone have working GPS on this ROM??
I'll give this a try in a bit and report back. AICP has always been one of my favorites.
Been a few days and its pretty good so far. Came from PacMan and more things working (minor stuff) with nothing new broken.
GPS works... but it seems more sensitive (random re-routes)... but it might just be my imagination.

What does it mean to make sure all my sensors are working? Is there some mod I need to flash to ensure gps, accelerometers, light sensors work?
Main question is, does HD Calling / advanced calling work on this ROM?
@dr_w
Make sure they're working means flashing a stock 39a ROM if you have not yet, and making sure it rotates a few times before flashing 39a jpc aosp.
I'm not sure if that works on aosp for us or not. Not quite sure there is a way to check.
I'm not sure how much more building I'll be doing for this, but my notes from running this for a few days was that it wasn't smooth enough for me. I frequently got app hangs and force closes for small things, but that may have been the madness caused by Google Play Services. I'm back to RR for now but maybe I'll throw in another build sometime.
