i am new to know about kernels and all but i do like to install this kernel as i can have otg support in my s advance.....can i install this kernel now? i am on cyanogenmod 11 now!!!!!!!!!and not on stock firmware........

This was a try to get OTG, this kernel does not have OTG support. So far no one managed to make it.

You installed JB kernel over GB? Why you did that? Why didn't you read? Now just flash JB or GB firmware in Odin, and you will get a working phone. No need to give money to service center to do that for you. Just beware, do not install I9070P firmware over I9070 phone or I9070 firmware over I9070P phone - it will hardbrick the phone.
Next time first inform well what you are doing, before you do something wrong.

Yeah, according to the Sony blog post it should only be the camera and modem which should be not working, not sure if it's correct though.
They write :
As usual, you should be aware of that this software is not intended for daily use as there are important limitations. For example, the camera is not working and the modem is not enabled, which means you cannot take photos or make phone calls.

Just tried this ROM today. Really like it. Faster than my stock, and even some welcome UI improvements!
I just have one question. Is it possible to apply the 20c (the newest one that came out in germany) update somehow?
Can´t seem to find a way that doesn´t put the phone back into unrooted stock state.
Guys..can someone help me..I need to install recovery in my LG p880 bit for that I need to update to v20 where as mine is v10.but since I've rooted my mobile,I have to do it through flashing kdz files but am not able to find that kdz-update folder anywhere at all..kindly help me..what should I do now?how can I install a custom Rom in my mobile...thank u.

No, however you have to have custom recovery. Install instructions are in original topic.
i've succeeded ! first installed through odin the rooted XXANI4 rom and afterwards i was able to install the latest kit kat version for the S3 mini, and everything works !

I created my own kernel based on psndna88 source branch pureSTOCK-I9305-4.4.4:
- applied offline charging patch
- removed f2fs support in config
- support for FTDI USB serial adaptors
- cleaned/shrinked down initrd

This is a test kernel to be considered as a proof of concept.
It may work on other stock based ROMs as well, as it is mainly based on psndna88 config for V55.
As i don't wanted to steal any of psndna88 great work i removed all init.d stuff and other things.
So my initrd is more back to stock in this case, some of the systems tweaks are in use though.
Please give huge thanks and credits to @psndna88 for his incredible hacking skills :good:
P.S.: I will immediately remove the zip file if it's violating any official rules or personal feelings :angel:
