I am seeing lot of people saying their variant name. Iam confused what it means?
Any help would be appreciated.
I currently assume the following
1. D405 - Single sim
2.D405n - single sim with nfc
3. D415 - USA frequency single sim
4. D410 - Dual sim
What is D410h? D415hn ? Etc. So confused.
Do they look different?

I'm not sure these even exist, but you got the other ones just right. The only visually different device is the D410, which doesn't have a physical home button, but instead has four capacitive ones. They're all the same (back, home, menu), plus an additional button for managing your SIM cards.

Thannks mate :good:
Wonder why these ROM developers frequently use these different names for variants.
I have seen Quarx, Shinobisoft append alphabets to the variant.
A recent post had "D410hn" .too weird. Two alphabets! "HN”

Hello everybody,
i have the lg l90 d400h model, but i dont find any tutorial to do root or instal cwm and a rom cyanogenmod like example for this variant, i dont like the stock rom but the phone is incredible!
Please help me adding any link safe to do this things
I will be thank for ever
As far as I know these tutorials are universal (for every L90 model), at least I have not noticed any restrictions regarding different models. I can be wrong of course, but I doubt in this case. What's your software version?

Well. ....if you actually read through both the "original android development" and "android development" forums you would find what you're looking for. The specific device support should be detailed in the first few posts.
For kernel, take a look a my SkyHigh kernel which supports dual SIM variants.
Cant say about ROM, as only use stock, mainly because I'm happy with it and easier to debug kernel rather than what could be the ROM.
Best of luck with the reading
Edit: before flashing, you may need to unlock your bootloader first (maybe crom app or something) and enable OEM unlock in developer settings.
When looking at both devices, I see that they are identical, or at least almost in relation to this, which would imply trying to install a ROM made for the L90 in G2m? is there a risk of killing the device?
I read that Global WCDMA Variant not the LTE use the same CPU as the lg l90. It still may not work..just keep your old firmware ready.
Hello all,
, I'm looking for a stock or custom ROM for G800H ( Single SIM), and I only found stocks roms for G800H (Dual Sim). Its very confuse because my model G800H( Single Sim) have a snapdragon processor , works with the same android version of the G800H (Dual Sim) with exynos . Can I update my device with the firmware of G800H from sammobile.com without problem ?
in sammmobile.com just I can see all the latest firmwares for the GALAXY S5 mini SM-G800F / H /HQ /M / R4 to choice for flash my device , Nothing for G800H(SIngle SIM).
thanks in advance
It should be the same firmware image whether it's single or dual sim g800h. As long as it's H and not F.

Thanks. Are you sure ? Both models runing with diferents processor.
Regards
Well, I've never tried it myself (I have an F), so I can't be 100% sure, you know. I just read it on a different forum in a pinned topic about S5 mini firmwares. Since there are no separate images for 1 and 2 sim to be found anywhere and it's not like Samsung would leave the 1 sim without updates I would assume it's the same firmware (one kernel can support different processors). But as usual, I'm not responsible for anything.
hi, sorry if I did not have to write correctly. I wanted to know what kind of difference is there between the 9 korean version notes, the processor? has limitations, less functions, different startup logo etc. if you can list all the differences. thank you

the korean N960N has the same specs as the Fs.
so its a exynos chip and not a snapdragon.
this is my second Korean Note and have been extremely pleased.
no visual issues like some have reported on ither device.
Just flawless.
concerning logo( carrier stuff there are 3 or 4 carries in Korea so you are likely to get one of those.)
since i have rooted mine, i have rebranded csc to my sims carrier.
usually they ship region unlocked. When i buy from wondamobile,
seals is broken but it is probably to remove the lock. they make a 5 minute call to lift it.
these phones don't have the oem unlock vanishing issue either.
the Korean version has no snapdragon. Does the Samsung logo appear on the ignition? but do you need to change them to work with your operator? but does it have any restrictions with respect to others?

if i remember correctly, before i rooted and modified phone, it did have that carrier logo. but phone worked fine regardless. LTE and such was all working. Yes some carrier bloat in korean but that was to be expected. I root my phones so that was not an issue.
right now running Dr. ketan rom on canadian Rogers csc and all us working fine.
but does it also work in other regions? are there any preinstalled apps? Ke stock European firmware, not Korean can you flash?

odin probably won't let you.

Please delete....

like any rooted device OTA will stop working. you will have to manualy downlaod firmwares to keep it up to date.
right now Pies official build has arrived for N960N devices for 1 or 2 weeks now.
