I noticed the music effect setting to set your sound app as default is missing in lollipop. Anyone know how we go about changing MusicFX as default to a different app?
Actually ViPER4Android isn't supported for lollipop. Boohoo

Is there any way to manually just the equalizer settings in Sounds > Audio Effects? You can only select from the presets and grabbing the bars to move them doesn't work.
Unfortunately, no way to adjust them - only able to use the presets. You would need to use something custom, like PowerAmp in order to set the sound.
Is there any possibility to fix the dpi in phone app? I changed screen dpi from 480 to 420, and it works great everywhere. Except in phone app. It doesn't adjust to the new settings. Why is that, and is there a way to fix it?
Best regards
You can use App Settings xposed module to set dpi per app.
Hi
On my Z1, I was able to change the default album app to quickpic. The Z3 does not have this option. There is no 'clear defaults' available for the built-in album app. I am not a fan of the built in album app, and appear to be stuck with it as the default picture viewer after having taken a photo.
Has anyone else managed to use a different album app as the default?
Nigel
nobody has a solution on this problem?
Disable the inbuilt Album-app?
I cannot disable album app it always start again when I use the camera app.
Cant be disabled - does not stick. Always reverts to default sony album. Can an alternative camera app be made to start using the hardware camera button.
I use camera jb+, has aosp gallery included. Good camera app btw, found it to have more consistent results.
I have the same issue, I don't like the Album app and I wish I could use Quickpic.
I've been playing with this all morning but I can't figure this out. Is there a way to change the default camera app on the factory locksceen? I don't want a different locksceen or launcher. Touchwiz works fine for me. I'd rather it go to snap camera instead.
With the advent of xposed for Nougat, I recently bit the bullet and made the upgrade from Marshmallow. I'm now running m00nlight 3.1 (b386).
I use the official smart cover which utilised music controls without even opening the case. This was useful for driving and generally protecting the screen.
I am an avid Poweramp user (currently using a version 3 alpha build). It used to use the default huawei lockscreen music widgets, but now it isn't working.
The option is enabled in Poweramp, the widgets work with the default huawei music player and Google Play Music app, but not a 3rd party app. I've also tried Poweramp 2 (Stable) and Stellio Music Player, to ensure it's not an app issue. This leads me to believe it's a ROM limitation.
I found a walkthrough here: https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-add-third-party-music-apps-emui-lock-screen/ but it already shows the Poweramp app as whitelisted for the lockscreen. I also added the Stellio app to hw_defaults.xml to whitelist it and that didn't work.
Furthermore, I downloaded a Huawei theme to provide a static wallpaper lockscreen as I read that could be an issue. No avail.
Xposed isn't currently enabled.
Do I have any options?
I'm interested in the much simpler customization:
To be able to jump to the previous/next song on the locked screen by using Volume Plus/Minus buttons (with the stock Music player)
This is possible with Xposed, GravityBox module...
Edit: Found a simple solution skipping songs on the locked screen by Vol +/- keys, installed Frinky MusicController from GooglePlay, it does not require root or so and it works fine with both YouTube (playlists) and Music
