Sweet, thanks for sharing - Only for new members, but that's alright...just used my old gmail account
It works as long as you haven't been subscribed in the past 6 months. I had it back when it first came out and canceled but now I got the free six month.

Excellent, I'll cancel mine a month before in case there are other promotions later on!
I was unable to add the 6 month trial due to having the service in the recent past. But since Google has enable users on the phone, I created multiple Google accounts on the phone. Ultimately after setting each of the new accounts I was then able to use the 6 month trial on each. I actually ended up loading one of the accounts on my wife's note 3 so she has 6 months now, hahaha.
Did you guys get music key for YouTube mine still isn't working even with all access

Any way of availing this offer in a country where it is not 'offered' (like here in India)?

Hi,
Any experience of using US version of Nexus 7 in India? Everything works fine? I heard many apps disappeared and some other Play Store problems when US version was used in some other countries, any such experience specifically in India?
Thanks.
Anyone??

I am using nexus7 since last week. I purchased it from UK. Its a good little device. I activated it after reaching India. I didn't get any free play store credit. Also there was neither Google books nor movies app and widget in my nexus. I tried installing apk of Google books but I received a message that its already installed. Couple of days back I formatted it and then activated it by using UK vpn. Then I got option of using play store credit. I also got Google books n transformer movie. However when I deactivated my VPN , movies app disappeared even though Google books remained. Anyway most important thing is that it has got international warranty. I spoke to Asus India and they asked for serial number of nexus 7 and after that they confirmed that nexus 7 has international warranty which is valid in India.
I ordered mine from Purenexus, it's an eshop on Facebook. Was delivered within 10 days of placing the order. Great service! Highly recommended.
Me also ordered it yesterday!!
Good to know that it was delivered within 10 days!! waiting anxiously for mine!! 16GB one!
how much it cost to u?? are there any custom duty charges when u bring it from uk to india ??

N7 [email protected] Rs.14831 - Indiatimes Discount Price
Hi all. I just placed an order @ Indiatimes as they have promo running till 20th Aug. Use Coupon Code SETMEFREE at checkout to know your special discount. Offer Valid till 20th August.
Links - Nexus 7 8GB Nexus 7 16GB
I wanted to hold out till October or the year end before making this purchase, once Nexus 7 is released in India but with the promo like this I just couldn't resist. You have 0% EMI on HDFC and ICIC Credit Cards too and that sweetens the deal even more !! Why wait till Nexus is released in India when I can buy this right now ?
I cannot wait for the tablet. Will post the review later
I was reading an article that stated that with the purchase of a Nexus 7, Google was providing an app store credit of $25 for purchasing applications. Does anyone know if this is true and if it is, how does one go about securing/using that credit?
Google has stopped the free play store credit offer think its been like this for several months. I never got any credit when I bought my nexus the other week.
Ah that makes sense. I must have been reading an older article. Thanks for the reply.
they stopped around october last year...
dang it...

I was just checking out the Chromecast on the BestBuy website and noticed for the first time that the Netflix 3-Month Trial Offer is no longer listed on the right side of the page under the "Offers"/"Promos" sub-heading...or whatever that sub-heading was called lol Did that NetFlix Trial Offer end or something? What's the deal? This is the first I've seen this. It may have been this way for several days now...I just haven't been aware of it until now! I posted a screenshot from my pc and circled in green where it usually is located...
everyone has known that it would be gone by the end of the month. I guess they just pulled it a couple days early. It was never meant to be a long time offer. Google pulled the plug after a few days at most
Google pulled the offer the day after release. I was lucky Best Buy was still honoring the offer weeks after release.

I bought the Chromecast last weekend at a Best Buy in Brentwood, Mo and got the three months free Netflix.

The deal is not valid anymore. If it was, the Netflix gift code would be on your receipt and emailed to you (the register will ask for your email when a Netflix code is given).

So I was luckily able to buy a Nex 6 from Motorola a few weeks ago. I did notice today though on the play store page for the Nex 6 you get benefits such as free Google play all access for 6 months. So does the one I bought from Motorola receive these things or not?
I did the same I would like to know as well.

No but one plus is that you can buy motocare insurance which is pretty cheap as far as insurance goes.

I got mine from motorola today, I can confirm that you get 6 months play access free, as well as the free movie download (gravity) and a free e-book. I also plan on buying motocare, it's $139 up front for 2 years and allows 3 replacements for $39 a pop.
edit: this does not apply if you are already a subscriber or, I believe, have used the other free month trial.

Oh I was already a subscriber so maybe that's why I didn't get it.
Did anyone get their codes for the $50 Play Store credit? I purchased mine from Sprint and I'm still waiting for the txt msg w/ code.
Got my order in the following Monday and nothing as of yet. Probably when the phone ships.

How long did u wait?
I got mine this past Friday, the 5th.
I believe to get the code, you have to open the email titled "Welcome to your new Nexus 6" from Google Nexus, and click the link taking you to the Play Store. It's what I did, and when I did it on my mother's phone, she got her code the next day. Don't know if it's coincidence, but it's worth trying.
Did anyone get their Sprint phone from elsewhere and still get the credit? I bought mine at BestBuy cyber Monday and haven't gotten an email. Am I hosed since I didn't buy direct from Sprint? Lol

Pretty sure I saw it in the terms and conditions that it will be emailed once it ships.
