Hi, I installed TWRP recovery on my XT1068 and in preparation for lollipop update I would like to flash stock recovery. The problem is I can`t find stock recovery.img anywhere on XDA or internet. So am I bad at searching files or do I have to extract it from factory image?
recovery.img and boot.img in .zip

The same way you flashed twrp.
Extract the .zip
Boot into fastboot mode
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Stupid question but...
Where do I place these files? In my external sd card????

No. Keep it on your pc. If you are using windows, put it into the same folder where your fastboot.exe resides. On Linux it doesn't matter.

I flashed recovery KXB21.85-23 from your link in order to do the OTA lollipop update but the update failed.
Then I downloaded Firmware KXB21.85.23 (DSDS ALL) from your thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/windows-tool-moto-g-2014-xt1068-dual-t2983295 , extracted recovery.img and flashed it. And with that recovery OTA update worked fine.
Does the recovery that you linked in your answer come from a different firmware version?
Anyway, I hope this will help someone find the right stock recovery. And thanks for sharing the stock firmware!

my easy installer in signature was made for this reason, so it automatically wipes before install, to avoid dirty flash boot loops

3) Rename it to recovery.img
4) Open a CMD/Teminal windows on adb folder
5) Put your phone in fastboot
6) Flash the recovery with the command:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
7) Do an erase cache for security:
Code:

What to do now?
As I have read the forum, I should from http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/development/recovery-t2811965 install back “Huawei Ascend P7-L10 thanks to XQC”, and that is it?
The phone will be unrooted, so I have to root it again.

Well, the update has failed.
I am informed to go to the http://www.emui.com/motiondownload.php?mod=restore which doesn't work.
I was able to shutdown the phone and to reboot it again.
Apon booting the phone I got the message that update has failed and by clicking on it I went to the update screen.
Looks like huawei is checking wheather the phone is rooted or something else.
What to do now?
Install stock recovery and then update through OTA. You cannot use OTA with custom recovery.
You didnt read update notes ("make sure your phone has not been rooted...").

I have installed stock recovery in the following way:
1. I have downloaded a zip file (* Huawei Ascend P7-L10 thanks to XQC) from [RECOVERY][ Unofficially Open Recovery TWRP 2.8.1.0 ][ 09/11/2014 ] thread
2. I have unpacked recovery.img from zip file
3. As a root, I have used adb reboot bootloader, fastboot flash recovery recovery.img, fastboot reboot
4. Now I have downloaded and started the update
I believe that this is enough.
Do I have to unroot the phone before update?
Is the stock recovery from the twrp thread OK for this update?

Let's go in this step by step!
1. Confirm which recovery you have installed, 2.3 or 3.0. If you did not flash official Emui 3.0 than you need emui 2.3 official recovery. Official recovery you can extract from official Emui 2.3 ROMs (you will need 2.3 ROM also for flashing).
2. Flash the needed recovery (if needed).
3. After downloading official 2.3 ROM, open it and check if there is a folder "dload". On that folder should be a file "update.app". Copy the folder "dload" together with it's content on the root of your SD card.
4. Go to settings -> update -> local update and start update (local update) , if local update does not work than try force update.
5. Confirm on the forum
How to confirm recovery version?
<3e>?
If someone wants to make mirrors or a flashable zip, feel free to contact me and I will update thread
I've got my new OP3 today and what I've noticed that it runs with Oxygen OS 3.2.5. So I have looked around and saw that nobody backed up their 3.2.5 und uploaded it so I decided to do it.
Here is the download link: https://mega.nz/#!PJhzRDyL!wX12zmq9ptiu8gNbtfQfypB2Q6wGdu3IfNFFwi9acQk
The only requirement is an unlocked bootloader as fastboot doesn't allow to flash on locked devices
How to install:
via twrp:
- boot into twrp recovery
- press "install"
- press "install image" on the bottom right
- select the image and confirm on which partition it should flash
(not recommended) via fastboot:
- boot into fastboot
- use these commands to flash it:
ignore the little warning message and pe patient because it can take a while till you get a response from cmd because fastboot splits the image into 6 parts
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
Note: if your phone isn't booting, flash supersu and it should boot.

Then there is probably no way to install this to your device, as a user already said that using fastboot does not work.
I also think that your bootloader should be unlocked for this to work.

SuperSU is not needed, why should it be? With this you overwrite the whole System partition, thus removing all mods including SuperSU and Xposed.

Still having issues with both methods... in TWRP, at the install image screen i'm only getting boot and recovery partition options, supposed to have system too right?
Fastboot it hangs for a moment at an error of something about invalid sparsing but continues to flash, apparently successfully, but when i reboot system it just boots back to recovery.

Sigh... You already open up a thread about this, you should just continue on that one instead of opening up another one. Also if you dont want to brick or damage your phone. Please please please do some research before hand.
Firstly, you have not unlocked your bootloader, chances are, you probably haven enable OEM unlock and USB debugging and thirdly, if you looked through the guide section of this forum, you will see that everything you need to know is there.
To make your life simpler, go to the below link, download the tool and watch the video.

You can also try this as well to make your fone alive
1) Download your fone firmware
2) Use huawei firmware extractor to extract there files
boot.img
recovery.img
system.img
3) Copy these files to your fastboot command folder
4) Now use these commands in the same pattern
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
Hope it will revive your fone.

*** Disclamer
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
This is unofficial build Lineage20 for LG G8 ThinQ (alphalm)
Please backup your data before installing!!!!!
Installation instructions
Install Stock S/R ROM onto your phone(recommendation);
Boot twrp install this rom;
The TWRP install ROM may automatically switch to slot_b so I recommend unpacking and flashing into the individual partitions in IMG form;
If you can use QPST(QFIL) flashing, I recommend that you use this method to flash each IMG to the corresponding partition, such as flashing to slot_a;
boot.img -->boot_a,dtbo.img --> dtbo_a, system.img --> system_a, vendor.img --> vendor_a, product.img --> product_a ,vbmeta.img --> vbmeta_a;
Of course, you can also install this rom from TWRP normally。
WHAT WORKS?
Almost everything
WHAT DOESN'T WORK?

Hi, Thank you for your work but i would like to ask, i currently am at Android 10 with unlocked bootloader and magisk installed, but I don't have TWRP installed. So, is there anyway to unpack this rom so I can install it using QFIL?

Thank you, I managed to do it with with the tool provided. But, I wanted to ask: Should I load the images to both a slot and b slot or choose one only?

I'm sorry, but you'll have to find STOCK R yourself, but before that you can try reboot to recovery and then Format Data
Having same issue as user above. Tried installing from twrp but Lineage hangs on boot image. Tried going back to stock then flashing with qfil same issue.

Already back on 12 but I did try formatting data in recovery, also notice I was on slot b so I also flashed the files to both slot a and b but still no boot.
BSG google cam's latest version is working if anyone is having issues with the other/older versions (org.codeaurora.snapcam is the package I used):
BSG: MGC_8.8.224_A11_V5
Download MGC_8.8.224_A11_V5 by BSG.

Also having issues installing, attempted twice from stock android 10 rom. Once using twrp, the second time from QFIL. Used payload dumper to extract img files from the payload in the zip, but still hangs on the boot screen.
