So I woke up this morning, everything was fine. I only updated Xposed Module Sense 6 Lockscreen mods , but I don't see how a Lockscreen mod app could affect the recent apps. I do run quite a few Xposed sense mods (The Dark Six theme, S6 Toolbox, Xtended Settings, S6 Transparent Recent Apps) .... U would think being that 1 of those is a recent apps mod , that it would be the culprit, but nada... And I don't mess with themes in s6 tb, JUST The Dark Six theme... Any ideas?
Nevermind, just figured it out. It's the update to Sense 6 Lockscreen mods that causes it.

I just want to verify if this is a function on Sense 5.0.
Coming from Nova Launcher, the hide apps function would only hide the icon in the drawer it self. For me, I loved this function as I had a great organizational method this way.
It seems that Sense 5.0 will hide the app icon on the app draw + any home screens it is currently on.
I do like Sense 5.0, so I don't want to switch over to Nova just yet, so, does anyone know if there is a work around for this?
Maybe an app (seems redundant), or maybe I can look into some other custom ROMs and see if the devs might be working on it.
I have searched and searched, tried various mods, etc...
I want to change the amount of rows so the weather and clock on the Sense 6 lockscreen do not overlap. I am running the latest ViperOne and have enabled 5 rows rows on the homescreens and appdrawer. I have tried various different mods and sense 6 weatherclock themes (via xposed and otherwise) without any success. Does anyone know of a mod or fix I can use other than going back to 4 rows on my homescreens?
I cannot post external links of the screenshots I have because of my low post count. Sorry. Basically, the weather icon on the lockscreen will overlap with the clock (and it is smaller than what is shown on blinkfeed), but it does not overlap on the blinkfeed homescreen.
Thanks!
Nevermind. I finally found a fix. I used a non stock HTC weather mod via venom hub and it fixed the issue. Now to try some other themes that will work in 5 row mode.
Must be a bug in a theme or Venom
I don't want to re-install Venom to see if it is a bug in Venom or an addon I applied awhile ago. I am unable to change the weather or clock theme via venom tweaks. It seems to be related to using anything Sense 6 stock for the clock or weather. I just flashed a new full theme and the bug is back. Still investigating. It would be nice to have a mod for the lockscreen to sue the default sense 6 wetherclock with 5 rows on the lockscreen. I have yet to find a mod for just this. Can anyone point me to a howto or manpage on how to create this kind of mod? I am a bit new to android development, but I have made a few apps. I am not new to Linux kernel development (former ALSA contributor).
Thanks!
The bug is in the AOSP lockscreen.
Frustrating.... I want to hide the dock on the lockscreen. There is no setting for this, but enabling the ASOP lockscreen enables hiding the dock on blinkfeed hides the dock on the AOSP lockscreen as well. When using the Sense 6 lockscreen, there seems to be no way to hide the dock. I like the AOSP lockscreen unlock widget. Unfortunatley, Venom seems to have a bug in their Venom lockscreen tweaks where CM-style pattern dots only works with AOSP. Venom AOSP mode has the 4 row lock bug for the weather and clock. Perhaps the next version of Venom will address this.
I think I might ditch Sense 6 and go to 4.4.4 stock Android mod (or an AOSP rom) with a custom kernel and use GO Launcher for now. I used GO launcher on my 1st GEN EVO and I loved it.
I have a Galaxy s5. I'm using Go Launcher 5. I have Xposed installed with four modules installed: Wanam, Xposed G-touchwiz, handleexternalstorage, and greenify. Somewhere along the line I set my status bar to transparent so I could see the entire wallpaper. It's transparent on the main screen and the app drawer in Go Launcher. It's also transparent in touchwiz when I drop out of Go launcher. This indicates to me that Go Launcher is not where I made the setting, so it has to be either in one of the Xposed modules or in touchwiz itself.
I don't know if Xposed settings can continue if for instance I made this setting in a module and then deleted the module. I used a "tinted status bar" module for a short time but no longer have that installed.
Can someone have mercy and help me figure out where I made this setting? I really thought it was in touchwiz but I'm n ot finding it after much searching through settings, and I want to switch it back, or make the bar a little less transparent.
Thanks for any help on this.
I recently moved from a Nexus 5 to a Galaxy s6. Of course I wanted the pure android look so I installed the google now launcher and the material theme.
The problem I am having is the phone icon still shows the ugly green touchwiz icon as well as the touchwiz camera icon (don't know if that should change or not).
From the screenshots I see it looks like the phone dialer should change as well.
Any ideas?
The icons will not change with the Google Now Launcher. You will need a third party app to do that, or use a launcher like Nova.
The in-call UI will not be themed, but the dialer should before you actually place the call.
Let me know if you have more questions :good:
Install Nova Launcher and then install Moonshine iconpack.
Hey there guys...
So today I will be giving a small guide to get rid of ugly navbar in Nexus 5 running miui.
Lets Begin
Requirements :
1)Nexus 5 running MIUI.
2)Xposed Installed(All likns will be provided in the bottom of the thread).
3)I will be listing a couple of paid apps so you if you want to use them you may need credit card or you can use whatever method you want to buy those apps.
4)A bit of patience.
Lets Start.....
I will be dividing this guide into two parts
1)Using stock MIUI launcher
2)Using 3rd party launcher.
Using Stock MIUI Launcher
We all know N5 have that kitkat navbar which looks ugly on MIUI.So to get rid of that first flash Lollipop navbar(link is at the bottom).
After Flashing it your navbar will be same as we see in lillipop but is not transparent(actually it is transparent but MIUI launcher makes it black).
So if you are a user like me who love setting dark wallpapers then you should'n have much problem with it becauser when you set a dark wallpaper navbar color and wallpapers colour matches and it looks perfect as you can see in Screenshot 1.
But if you don't like dark wallpapers then it looks preety damn ugly even if you flash lollipop navbar. So to get rid of that install Gravitybox xposed module.
After activating it go to Navigation bar settings and enable navbar(You have to do this if you want to customize it). After enabling it reboot your device.Again go to gravitybox>navbar settings and enable custom key colors and set key color to black so navbar willl look like a black strip on the screen which feels like it is bottom of the phone and not navbar. Now you can set whichever wallpaepr you want. You can see it in Screenshot 2.
Using 3rd Party Launcher
First download force translucent xposed module and activate it.After activating it set translucent navbar to all apps in app settings.
Then download MIUI launcher from play store(I think its just heavily modded nova launcher but it looks a lot like MIUI).
Download MIUI icon pack(this is paid app)
Set MIUI (Downloaded from gplay) as your default launcher and apply icon pack. There you go you have MIUI launcher with transparent navbar.
