Sistemui error in my tab - Galaxy Tab S General

Since I installed the thunderrom ROM v2.1 and the nova launcher I have this problem: Com.android.systemui Stopped, and I have to do a hard reset, anyone know why this happen?

Just letting you know that you are posting in the wrong thread. Questions are post on the q and a thread. This might be caused by deleteding a certain app that systemui needs

Sorry if I posted it on the wrong thread.
I didn't delete any application. I only flashed that ROM (thunderrom t800) and skyhigh kernel but didn't delete anything.
I'm looking for that file (systemui.apk) in the path: system / app but that file don't exists.

Try using thunderrom v2. Since V2.1 is beta v2 might work for you.

Ok

How do I replace TouchWiz launcher with Launcher Pro?

I'm using Cog 5.5.
I've put the apk for launcher pro in \system\app, and renamed TouchWiz30Launcher.apk. Launcher pro still shows up in the task manager- and system apps usually don't. Is there anything else I need to do?
Would it be simpler to rename Launcher Pro apk to TouchWiz30Launcher?
Thanks,
AoN
if you are on froyo (which cog 5.5 is), simply push ANY other launcher to /system/app (you don't need to change the name) and delete the touchwiz30launcher apk. that's it.
also, please don't post in the wrong sections. this isn't development related, Q&A or General please.

[Q] Please assist on keyboard mod

Over the past week I have been looking for assistance on having a keyboard I like modded to work with the theme I'm using.
Specs
ROM: Serendipity v6.3 - Theme: ZeuBugTheme (I9000 theme) JS based - Keyboard in question extracted from: Erebos (JPX/U/Y/JS3/JS5/JS7/JS8)
The keyboard is a .apk. I have tried the following to no avail, constantly getting the "Force Close" warning. File name gbkb.apk.
1) Dropping directly into System>app
2) Rename to libjni_latinime.so (not sure if I did it right, but didn't work)
I tried a few other things, things I don't remember that went terribly wrong!
So I ask for help understanding how to make something like this work with my setup.
Interestingly enough, they also have a dialer which I was easily able to replace the DialerTabActivity.apk and have the dialer work. So why not the keyboard?
Pleas ask questions I would truly like to rectify this.
Thanks, Tomween1

you need the gbkb.apk and the matching .so. you dont just rename anything.
drop the apk into /system/app and the .so that is included with the theme into /system/lib
thats it. you dont have to modify anything

OK, this too was one of my questioning areas (earlier in my attempts). Not sure what the so file is that I should use.
Also can these items be inserted into a cwm and be flashed? Not that I will 9don't know how yet), just a need to know

everything seems to be working
I will test that tonight
added my theme part ^^
Nice going Hawky!
Good to see some progress on the IS..
Weve been busy on the DS ourselves... pop around and let me know what you think of my CoreDroid port
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060742
P.S
When you get a minute can you check something in clockwork on your IS.
I think it may be a bug in the DS but whenever i use the format cache command in edify (yes it is typed correctly lol) the recovery doesnt flash the zip but instead aborts installation with a status 1 error code.
Just curious...
Cheers pal!
P.S
sorry for the o/t

[Q] odexing previously deodexed

Okay devs hope you can help. I would love to be able to know how to create an odexed apk out of a deodexed apk. The reason i'm posting on here is Ive looked everywhere and can't find a guide on how to do this. I know you can deodex an apk file so there has to be a way to re-odex it. I have access to both a windows pc and a linux pc (dual boot) So please help. Here's why I want to do it, I have some apps that are deodexed stored in my TB which i can restore but when i restore them into odexed rom ALL of them fc. The ROM in which I speak is a great GB ROM for this phone maybe the best (GamerzROM ninja v11 JW5)
Thank you in advance for all suggestions and help.
If you are restoring a app that is already installed on the phone there will be the <<appname>>.apk and <<appname>>.dex
By removing the <<appname>>.dex you should beable to restore the deodex app
DEVs please correct me if i am wrong and i will edit this post.

The toolbox is broken in 4.0 (the links are invalid, they fixed it in 4.5, but it has a battery drain issue with the OC script) but you can take the toolbox from the 4.5 zip and install it in 4.0. For adblocking; I use "Adfree" in the market, it's free and seems to have the most blacklisted ad hosts, themes you use the toolbox from 4.5 to download, then manually flash OR you can ask in the 4.5 thread for a certain theme and the community will upload the zip for you to flash.

You just extract the 4.5 zip, in the /system/app folder, find the toolbox apk, put that on the phone, and install it like a normal side-loaded app.
