Do you have encryption enabled? If so, I don't think you can remove your passcode.

my phone is locked and im not sure what i can do. i forgot my pattern and when i tried to put in my password it says it was wrong. i got to change my password on google but it still wont let me in with the new password. any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
If you had enabled usb debugging, then you can remove the pattern lock using ADB. If you hadn't enabled usb debugging then the only option is the forgot my password, which will email the pattern to you.
Like you said it is not working for you, the extreme method would be to perform a factory reset. You will lose all the data in the phone (not sd card). Use factory reset as last resort only..
thats the problem i can no longer get to any pattern lock. it wont let me. and its not accepting my gmail and password for some reason. im not sure if i can do anything.

Hello,
I have Moto G 2nd Gen with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, unfortunately by mistake I created pattern unlock and now I'm not able to remove it, I don't want to keep pattern unlock want swipe unlock, when I try to change it it only shows three options Pattern, Pin, and Password no Swipe or Non options are there.
Friends can anyone help me and guide me to remove pattern unlock.

Do you have gast user activated? If so, disable it, maybe it helps.

Step 1: Go to Settings >> Security
Step 2: Device Administrators. See if anything other than Android Device Manager is checked. (If something is checked, it's possible it's forcing a higher level of security.)
Step 3: Uncheck it if there is. And check the screen lock options again.
Still got nothing? No problem.
Optional Step 4: Go to Settings >> Security >> Clear credentials.
I've added screenshots for each step. (Don't worry, I've already cleared my Credentials, that is why that option was unavailable in the Screenshot. But you'll get yours.)
Voila. You are done.
Give a Thanks, if it helped.
Many Many Thanks Theroxstar Bro,
Step 4th worked for me and now I have enabled Swipe Unlock in my Moto G 2nd Gen, Once again Thank You Bro for helping guiding me
So my Nexus 6 bit the dust but there's some data I'd love to pull of it, but with the broken screen I can't enter the pattern I had set on the bootloader. I've been googling to see if there's a way to bypass the pattern entry on the bootloader without formatting the device but it looks like I'm out of luck, did I miss something?
Thanks!

Nope, just put a pattern on the bootloader
Hi there, have you solved your issue?
regards
On my phone I had an unlock pattern. I removed it in the settings, but lineageos still asked for the pattern. Unfortunately now the old pattern did not work anymore. I still could unlock the phone with fingerprint. I tried to remove the pattern again, but for this action the old pattern was needed and did not work. After the phone ran out of battery I restarted the phone. Now I can not even unlock the phone with fingerprint, because the first unlock after boot needs to be with the pattern.
I tried to decrypt my data with twrp, but it also needs a pattern, which doesnt work anymore.
Is there any chance to get my data back?
Hi Team
I have the Note 9 SM-N960F from australia , I am not able to put into recovery mode and neither I can flash it to any ROM, please help me to find the solution for this . It boots to FRP locked enabled Binary thing. Please assist .
OEM LOCK ON
FRP LOCK ON
Please please please help me .
On a locked device, you can't install any other ROM, than stock update.
To remove FRP:
First, you need to open the Settings menu and remove the screen lock security feature.
In the same menu find the Accounts option and Google account you are logging in on your device with, and remove it. On some phones, the removal option might be hidden behind the three dots in the top right corner of the screen. If you have a few active accounts, make sure that you remove them one by one until none is left.
Next thing to do is an OEM unlock. Before flashing, read carefully the Instructions and be sure to flash the right versions. Otherwise you may brick your device...

the problem is that its not going to settings as well. It just restarts to the red message that says binary lock
You need to flash stock firmware with same CSC.
