I accidentally flashed laf.img from http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-fastboot-l90-d415-t2827825 now everytime I turn my phone it's stuck on the screen saying "Update Firmware" then a bar with 0%. Is there a way to save my phone? Thanks to whoever helps. :crying:
You fixed it yet? I don't know what to do for that exactly but I have a few things that will probably help you. Need more info.[COLOR="S

Alright, I have a bit of a problem. I've poked around a bit and haven't found anything helpful that's worked, so if there's something that will help me out please let me know. Here's the lowdown on my situation:
Currently running on stock Android 4.4.3 with SunShine having my device unlocked and S-off'ed.
Whenever I turn on my HTC One M8 (On Verizon Wireless) It just sticks itself on the screen that says 'htc' and 'powered by android.' It doesn't move from that screen. Just stays there. I am able to boot into HBoot and get myself into TWRP.
While in TWRP, I'm able to flash ViperOne because that's what I've done (Note: I flashed it AFTER the initial freezing on the screen occurred). I've done it, but again, whenever I boot normally, I get stuck at the same screen.
Another tidbit that might help is that whenever I try to wipe my cache, TWRP fails with "E:Unable to mount '/cache.'"
Is there anything that I can do to fix my issue? I just want to be able to boot into my OS
Thank you in advance. I'll try to stay awake to try things but I've got work tomorrow.
ALSO: NEW ISSUE: Whenever I do a 'battery-pull,' (volume up + power) it just starts itself again. Anyone know what's up?

Thank you...sorry about that.
Hey guys, I have an old Optimus 4X HD and when i found it i decided to power it up again. However, it wouldnt power on! I thought that it might be out of battery and hence i plugged it in, only to find the keys flash lightly once and die again. Before this, it was stuck in a bootloop which i had no time to fix. Any suggestions?

Please read your own Post carefully.
Because it says, you want to have suggestions for something, you just didn't have time for (which implies that you know how to deal with it).
So if you would've used your brain, you would've written "it was stuck in a bootloop which i don't know how to fix" instead of "it was stuck in a bootloop which i had no time to fix", otherwise we don't know how to help you. Do you even get what I'm saying?
Assumed you don't know how to fix a bootloop, why don't you use ur brain and search for a tutorial like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069723
There are lots of pictures which will help you to understand it even without reading carefully. :good: But be aware of having time

Greetings,
Thank you for using XDA Assist. To get you the specific expert help you need, I'm going to move your thread to your device's Q&A forum. Good luck!
You should be able to hold down the power button long enough to do a force shutdown. If that doesnt work, I guess just let it discharge until it powers off. Try starting with minimal charge again to see if you can get back to a functional OS. If not, use Recovery and reflash your rom. If you dont have a custom recovery, follow the guides to install one which should wipe your device for you and fix this APK crash you're having.
Hey All,
I was chatting to some people on the android central forums and they said to come here and reflash my rom. Basically my phone is stuck on a bootloop and when I factory reset it on the hardboot menu, it doesn't fix it and when I click Recovery it reboots and loads a black screen with a grey triangle and an exclamation mark. I doesn't come up with any options to clear cache. It gets to the second loading screen with the HTC animation and glitches out. Would any be able to give me a step to step guide on how to reflash the rom. It's never been rooted and it's on Vodaphone UK.
Any help is much appreciated and Thankyou.

Check this out: https://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-510/htc-desire-510-64-bit-eu--international-version/android-4-4-3-stock-os-debloated-64bit-t3361689
The procedure is written by me. And it works. BUT ONLY USE IT IF YOU HAVE THE 64BIT VERSION OF THE PHONE. (EU=64bit / USA=32bit)
If you need more help just ask.
