[Q] Problem updating stock rom

My IS is running 2.3.3 stock rom.
when i download the update through check for update.
it showed update for 2.3.5 available after download and trying to install update.
i get a weird screen when at boot and the update is not applied..
pulling of the battery and starting the phn again is at same stage.
i have also attached a pic
plz some one help me..
try pressing power+vol up and doing a factory reset then rebooting
power + vol up or down?
it didnt help
Little more info? Did you get the menu to appear when you pressed vol up + power? Did you receive any error messages when you ran the OTA?
On another note: Do you have adb/fastboot set up?
Edit: try not to pull the battery, instead reset the phone by pressing vol up + vol down + power

When you remove the battery, hold vol down and power while replacing the battery to enter hboot.
Get adb and fastboot set up on your PC.
i have adb and fastboot in my pc..
when its boots to update it then it just starts for a sec then stops..
plz some one help me..
I think we are having a hard time understanding each other. Maybe post some more screen photos or take the phone in to a service centre.
i tried to verify the signature of the zip throught 4ext recovery and the zip signature verification failed..

[Q] Freeze and boot stocked

Hey, this is my first post, and i come with a big issue with my HTC One. It's work like a charm, until this evening.
I already flashed two ROM, ARHD 8, 8.1 and 9, without problem, but when i tried to flash 9.1, AROMA freeze. So, no whories, i juste reboot my phone with "adb reboot-bootloader" and did a "fastboot erase cache" and try again. AROMA freeze antoher time (without touching the screen), bad luck i can"t reboot with holding power button. So, again, "adb reboot" (without bootloader this time, it sliped my ming...) and there, it's stock at :
And holding power button don't work (i tried to hold him for 10 minutes...). I tried with adb or fastboot... device not found (logical).
I don't know what to do next, any idea ?
PS : sorry for my bad english, i hope you understand me ^_^
PPS : can't add a link to my photo of the bootscreen, but it's stucked.

you should be fine if the device powers on.
try this download all in one toolkit and erase cache then install custom recovery and boot to recovery and try to flash the rom again in the newly installed recovery

when you boot into bootloader you have to press the power button once. you will then see fastboot usb at the top of bootloader menu then run the commands. it should see your device after that
The thing is, i can't go in the bootloader
(if i try to hold on power + vol down, i have capacitive button who are blinking (normal) but i can hold them about 10 minutes, but nothing happen)

then you have to wait for it to die again then charge. after it charges for a while unplug it turn it on and boot to fastboot and do what i said before.
if your using a touch recovery and flashing a rom that uses aroma only use the hardware buttons(dont touch the screen at all). let it sit on the aroma start screen for at least 5secs. and charge your device enough so you can unplug before you start aroma

Yes, i access to the bootloader. I erase the cache, and wait a bit for resend a recovery (he don't want to write it now, because of low battery)
good. you shouldnt have a problem from here as long as you flashing a zip file thats proven to work for your device
It's possible to send a file from fastboot mode ?
Nevermind, found how to do (thank the manuel ^^)
Many thanks skinsfanbdh :good:
So. Problem fixed. Thanks to you skinsfanbdh

Hold power and vol down until it turns on and once it gets to the lg logo, release the buttons and press and hold them again until it gets to the factory reset screen. Hit the power button three times and it will boot into your recovery
Sent from my Vs980 Running LiquidSmooth
Thanks fellas!
The phone has to be powered OFF for the stated and linked methods to work for recovery access.
To power the phone off (if, say, you're stuck in a bootloop),
Press and hold the power and Vol- buttons for 10 seconds do not release, hold for an additional 3-5 seconds. The LG logo will flash briefly. When the screen is black, let go of all buttons. Now the phone is off, you may process to use the previously stated commands to enter recovery.
Hold volume down + power until the LG logo appears....once it appears release the power button and repress it and hold until youre into recovery... :good:

Press and hold the volume down button first and don’t let it go.
While holding it down, press and hold the power key as well.
Now, keep both keys held down together for 10 seconds or more
If that doesn't work, plug the phone in with the original charger and cable then press and hold both the volume down and power keys at the same time for 10 seconds while the phone is still connected to the charger
Same happened to me and mine isn't responding
