[Q] Voice Mail Notifications

I have not been receiving voicemail notifications on my Turbo. I don't want to have to use Visual Voice Mail. Does anyone have any ideas? Please help, thanks
Did you set it up? This was the first phone I've had in a while that I had to set everything up again and until I did, I wasn't getting them either obviously. Also, make sure that the box to receive notifications is turned on for the app under setting-apps-vm.
I'm having the same problem. Google Voice wasn't picking up for some reason so I switched to VZW VVM and I just flat out don't get a notification even with them enabled. I have to go in and check to see if I have any VMs after I miss a call.

Thanks for the help, I've decided to give Google Voice a try. I get text displays of the messages as well as the audio files to my email
You need to log onto your verizon account on your computer and then switch the voicemail. Go to the free one and not the visual voicemail. Something like that. I just looked and the interface changed and I can't find where to do it now. It is a plan feature.

Visual Voicemail/Voicemail indicator

Running the EU beta and have t-mobile...anyone able to find anything that works for visual voicemail or even a voicemail indicator? Right now when I see a missed call, I have to call my voicemail...have kind of like that 1998 voicemail feeling on this futuristic phone...Wanted to know if anyone has had any luck in this department. Thanks!!
I've been using Hullomail to get visual voicemail on my handsets for years.
It can be cloned, so you can have a copy for each of the 2 SIMs if you use both.

Visual Voicemail icon does not indicate when I have unread voicemails

The Visual Voicemail icon on my T-Mobile Galaxy S8 does not indicate that I have any unread voice mails. Is this normal operation? Every other phone's voicemail app I've had does this.
I hate to say this but I can't find out why either it's driving me crazy!! I can't use the stock visual voicemail at all on the device, just calls voicemail.

I'm not on the same carrier but I failed to get it to work properly with mine I could get notifications and call I'd but no actual message.
For t-mobile this has been "broken" for months.
From the web it seems that T-Mobile dropped support for the built in visual voicemail. You have to use their app and well it doesn't work ever for me. It doesn't sync, or notifies, and constantly throws error saying we can't access voicemail please dial voicemail instead.
This just means my voicemail is now never ever checked.
Sign up for a Google voice. Set the phone calls to forward to the number if you are not available. Use it for voicemail. It will transcribe and email them to you.
Att's app sucks also. I miss my built in from Windows mobile 10 and this was the next best things.

Question Unlocked T-Mo VM issues

All,
Got an unlocked S21U, ported from VZW to T-Mo, installed the T-Mo voicemail app, but I keep getting a VM notification from the app AND the phone dialer itself. I don't see any way to mute it. Am I missing something? Can't see a way to fix it.
Any ideas what I am "missing" by not having T Mo firmware?
Thanks
Can you download visual voicemail? I used to have that problem on another phone but when i installed visual voicemail i was able fix the problem.

Sorry, yes, I did and it works, but now I get two notifications for each voicemail, one from the phone, and one from the TMo VVM app.

Are all of the voicemails deleted from the visual voicemail app? If so, i would call T-Mobile next .

Alas I do not have the option to silence the native phone dialer voicemail
Ever since I disabled the Samsung Phone app, visual voicemail hasn't worked at all for me. I have to dial my own phone number to access my voicemail the old-school way... It kinda stinks, but I just hated the Samsung phone app for its lack of calling over LTE whereas Google Phone still worked fine with calls over LTE (and had my blocked number list saved from when I had the Pixel prior to this phone).
I forward my calls if not answered to google voice which transcribes my VM so I have native visual voicemail instead of paying tmo for their version of vvm
