Hi Folks,
I'd like to flash firmware to my Moto X to change it form retGB to retEU so I can upgrade to Lollipop, but I can't seem to find a) the firmware or b) any instructions.
I'm sure there on here somewhere and I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me to them!
Thanks,
ANkh

But as he said RETGB 5.0 is available so not sure if converting tu RETEUALL is needed.
Available where guys? If you could tell me what the name format is like, I could find it.
Thanks,

Hey everyone, I've got a very serious problem here.
Last week after rooting and unlocking bootloader with motochopper, I tried to swap my external/internal storage.
The partitioning method to mount create a partion and mount worked, but I couldn't replace the mount points of either storage. So i decided to use a scripted method to achieve my goal, that didn't work and I was left with frustration and I ran a script that was supposed to be the last line of the tutorial and my phone instantly went black and I rebooted.
Been stock at AT&T white boot logo ever since.
Trying to use this method HERE but I can't find the stock rom where I need to delete some lines in an xml file.
I have downloaded the BataKang stock AT&T rom but the xml file isn't there and I don't know which way to follow.
I'll have access to a Windows Pc on Monday so am trying to download all required files now and to get the best possible tutorial to flash and return my phone to working other.
Thanks in advance.

Do I have to modify an .xml file with this rom, or is it flash ready?

Hi again, so I flashed the version you gave me, but I am still on version 9.0 pie.
My procedure was exactly the same as xperifirm. Creating the ftf file then flashing it via xperiflash.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi, I have successfully downgraded to android 8. I reinstalled TWRP and DRMfixed. However, I still get the black screen in the camera. Everything seemed to have installed correctly. I guess I'm going to have to live with no preview screen?

Does this mean it is released here in US? Anyone got update?
I am not allowed to post link, but search for motorola Solution MS137254.
I guess so. I've been using the Brazil Full Pie Rom that's been here for a bit... https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g6/how-to/ali-pie-rom-moto-g6-t3904869 But after looking at your mentioned Motorola post, I took a look at the Firmware mirrors for RetUS build and what do you know...there it is! Here is the link... https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmwar...ubsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip I'll probably flash it myself later tonight.

Just followed those instructions and it doesn't want to boot; it just stays on the "device has been unlocked" screen. I tried to do a factory reset but it didn't seem to help.
Edit: Nevermind. Got it working, but I've noticed that encryption isn't working.
