Hi.
so the thing is, that even some time before this happened my xperia T10 was restarting while not connected to the charger.
I couldnt use it daily because it just kept restarting whenever somebody called me or I used the mobile internet.
Few days ago I left my phone without charger for night and I believe it kept restarting over and over again.
When I woke up, I couldnt turn it on, when its not connected to the charger it simply flashes red 2 times and thats it, if connected it flashes still red light as long as I press power button.
I thought its the same problem like I had with a tablet long time ago and it would be enough to let it charge for 2 days or so.
its 3rd day now and everything is still the same.
What should I do?
I dont have an acces to PC or laptops since I dont have one.
Any advice?
bump
Bump up
I opened the case and took the battery off for few hours and then put it in again, and ofc i attached all the cables and such back again.
Now when i hold volume down button and power button the led turns green for 5 secs and then fades. Then whenever i push power button the red led flashes still light but it dissapears after 10-30 sec and comes up again after few seconds.
help...
I know this from my xperia T. I hold (in holder not in my hand) the power button for long time (about hour) with connected power cable. And after this time it starts work. Try that

I simply pressed the lock button after checking the time on the phone and it never came back on. When I plug it into the charger the green charge LED comes on and when it's connected to a laptop the laptop makes the "Devise connected" sound but nothing comes up on the screen like the open file options and stuff. The screen won't turn on but when plugged in the back light comes on but the screen stays black. PC companion recognises that an Xperia T is plugged in but can't connect. I can't use the repair phone option either because it seems to be powered on according to PC companion.
Power and Volume Up buttons together til you get 3 vibrations,
should take no more than 30 seconds.
If no luck, leave it on charge for 24 hours, trying above again every few hours.

Thanks, I had already tried this but didn't know it took that long so I never got as far as the vibrations. I did it for longer and it worked on first attempt. Love you bro
Just got my new sony experia z, charged it for an hour, put my SIM in and tried to turn it on. It constantly flashes on and off the Sony screen while its charging. When I turn it on it flashes the sony screen and turns off again. I've tried pressing the on button and the up button at the same time and it vibrates but nothing changes. The little red light comes on when it's charging. Have I simply not charged it enough or is it faulty?
Any help would be good

any help please!!
See if you sim is correctly inserted, take it off and put it again
Sounds like you need to charge it for longer before trying to turn it on, wait until the light goes green and then turn it on by holding the power button in (for about 3 seconds) until it vibrates...
Edit: Are you using the official charger? I remember using a mains charger (not usb) and the light stayed red, the light changes to green when charged which usually takes about half an hour.
it all started two weeks ago
the atrix hd suddenly started close the firefox app,
three days ago it freezed and black screen, i tried press the power button but nothing!
it only came back when i connected the charger, the green led blinked two times and it powered up normally with the red motorola logo etc.
i was feeling that this phone was dying so for security i made one backup of important files less one that i forgot, and i am needing this file right now.
today i was checking my emails when it freezed and black screen, tried press power button and nothing.
charger ... nothing!
so i checked in the internet and saw the " special modes/special menus"
so i pressed power and vol down and entered in fastboot mode, and pressed power so the phone restarted.
but it freezed in the home screen.
repeat it all over again and i could use it normally.
again i was using my phone and black screen.
but this time the phone does not even enter in fastboot mode.
the only signal of "life" is the green led when i plug my charger or when i connect the usb cable in the pc,
in the linux the terminal cant recognize the phone with lsusb command.nothing appears.
i tried disconnect the battery for two minutes but nothing happend.
the last time it freezed it was with 23% of charge.
it is more than two hours in the charger but nothing happens.
i am using an eb40 battery,it was hardly used, lately it only could 6 hours of activity.
i think months ago when i used to use an pirate charger it damaged my phone doing the things worse now in the present , because the pirate charger provided more current than my atrix hd could take. so the touch became nuts /crazy detecting more touches than the real in ramdon places of the screen. happilly i found an old n900 charger and the problems ceased/stopped.
sometimes the green led blinks two times
sometimes the green led continues "solid" only stopping if i disconnect the charger
sometimes it only stops when i press power and vol down buttons and after continues when i finished press the power and vol down buttons.
observation:
i loose the screw that hold the battery because if the screw is tight not even the green led appears,so i think it could be an bad contact of battery.
so if someone have a tip of improvisation i would appreciate.
except the fact that i unlocked the operator this smartphone is virgin, i do not touched in the software(rooted or unlocked botloader )
this mb886 is an at&t one, i am not an american citizen so i could not ask an repair from at&t
as i said i am needing an file, so nothing about hard reset or things that could erase the memory.
hi im new here and i really need your help. while im surfing my facebook with mobile data on, my phone suddenly turned off. i hold the power button then start up boot sony went on then auddenly went off again. i tried that at about 3 to 5 times and same thing happen until the boot loader didnt appear anymore. i let it close and drove home (that was about 1 and 30 minutes more or less). i charged it using the dock that came from sony itself and i tried to hold the power. then it opened. it was it 71% battery when i opened it. so i charged it for awhile and i uncharged it so i can play music while taking a shower, not more than one song the phone went off again and this time it wont open. i checked this forum and i saw some troubleshooting like holding the power and volume up for about 10 sec. it was suppose to vibrate but it didnt. no red blink or whatsoever. lile my phone is really dead. tried plugging it in my laptop but pc companion wont read it since it was off. tried charging it and went to sleep and woke up 4am to check it but still the same. PLEAASE HEEEEELP im desperate!!! :crying:
You posted in the wrong device forumn, this is the newer model that was just released, however, i hope you got your phone back running already, when you tried to hold power + vol up for 10 seconds, try holding it for a minute instead, if this doesn't work it's probably a hardware problem and you should try to contact sony
I was playing with the phone and out of nowhere it freezes, I tried to lock the screen but it did not react so I had to turn off the phone then I tried to turn it on but it did not turn on.
Thinking that the battery had run out, I left 1h charging through both ports (side and bottom) but it did not turn on the screen to charge. I left charging the phone for a whole night for several days but it won't turn on.
I tried with the help of internet guides, the volume keys + power button but did not get any response on the phone.
I also tried to connect the mobile to my pc and see if it recognizes the phone but does not emit any signal on the pc (sound or file explorer).
Hope you help me, thank you.
Im facing this right now... it was charging, 77% and puff...went off and no signal of life...
I tried all button combination, tried to charge with different cables and both usb-c ports.
when I plug the phone on the PC by the side port, it shows as qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008, on the usbview...and thats all...cant start recovery mode.
I opened it to check the motherboard, seems ok but Im not an expert nor a professional.
any suggestion? my country havent any support to the ROG series, unfortunaly.
Any update on this with your phones?
Mine is now facing the same issue.
5 days ago, Was at 92% unplugged, browsing news on chrome and suddenly freezes, restarts itself, and when the ROG logo comes up it was all pixely and looks bugged, then it shut itself down and cant turn back on since then. No response from button presses or charging. Let the battery drain for 2 days, plugged the charger in and the LED light blinks red really fast for a minute and still nothing. Let it sit on charging for a couple hours, still wont boot. When I hold Vol Down with power button for 30 secs while charging the red LED blinks once. Nothing else.
