Those you who have the HK edition like me noticed that after flashing a different rom the art music album live wallpaper is gone?
I noticed it had something to do with Sprint ID and I backed it up with titanium backup and it doesnt want to restore on Beyond Stock rom using HK firmware....
Can somebody that have this live album wallpaper pull the require applications and post them here? And tell me if it needs to be on system/apps or system/priv-app.

Hi!
I recently flashed my IncS with Ehab's latest ROM v1.2a including Sense 3.5 (questions goes here, not into thread because I'm new here...). In order to restore my settings and a number of apps I used TitaniumBackup Pro and backupped user apps and most system apps and settings. Restore went smoothly after flashing.
I very much liked the idea to have some shortcuts on the lockscreen - but although I activated them in the settings they won't show up.
Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas how to solve it?
I had that problem when I flashed my first sense 3 ROM. But it was because I deleted something I shouldn't have. So probably you messed something up restoring a system app that doesn't belong in sense 3,5.
I had to reflash the ROM to get it to work

Hi
maybe a stupid question, but there were a couple of nice apps on the stock rom.
having just put CM on my Xperia T I wondered if there is a reliable way to get the stock apps onto it?
I have the de-odexed rom zip that was posted on here aq while back, but havent had any luck getting anything on there, either by using apk installer or copying the files to system/app and rebooting.
any help much appreciated
thanks
nat

There are no stupid questions, just users not reaearching.
However, I dont know how to answer this unless you say which apps..
If you are talking sony stock apps, then some install and can be used but you cant use widgets (e.g timescape) other than that more information will help

hi greg
thanks for the reply
primarily the walkman app as I am not getting on with apollo at all
was a miui user for a long time on my desire, and the music app on that I liked. but no miui for the T that is as up to date at FXP 149 (there was a thread but it seemed to go stale a while back)
also the weather widget, would be nice too - but guess that is a no no.
as no widgets does that mean even if I can get the walkman app on there, the widget wont work?
thanks
I suggest you just try to copy the walkman .apk in /system/app and set the correct permissions, then reboot. It certainly won't mess up your phone if it doesn't work.

weather widget is a no..it is a stock sony widget and wont install on non sony roms.
If you look in the theme and app section there is a thread for walkman and if you follow the links ou will find a flashable zip to flash if you are not on stock to flahs to get it working.....but i wil lsay apollo is the best music app i ahve used apart from the sony walkman app..
The original Music app that came with HTC Sense disappeared. It didn't show up in my apps list as shown below
http://puu.sh/6smZQ
but somehow, in both Titanium Backup and Setting>Apps show that it's there.
http://puu.sh/6sn0D http://puu.sh/6sn0b
I tried downloading and reintalling it from this thread and Aptoide, but it all ends up unsuccessfully. http://puu.sh/6sn8U
HTC One rooted running Android 4.3 with HTC Sense 5.0
What should I do? I don't want to use other third party music player apps. I want the original one.

Hello,
I have an Xperia Z3 Compact and am looking for a way to change stock system app icons (ideally without using another launcher). I am aware you can use an apk tool to decompile, replace icons and recompile an app, but that doesn't work with system apps like Settings, Camera and Phone. Those cannot be dumped by an apk tool. Do I need root for this? How do I proceed? Please help :crying:

Hi, currently there are bunch of applications on the marketplace (e.g. Desktop VisualizeR) able to create custom shortcuts (i.e. allowing custom icons usage) on home screens.
As far as I know, however, rooted or not, there is no possibility to change icons system-wide, so they will stay the same in app-drawers, app pickers, task managers, etc. EDIT: Oh well, not for free!
If you, like me, find that icons for Sony applications are a bit dated yet you do not want to abandon their super fast launcher, you can always wait for the upcoming Lollipop update, which hopefully will bring us a UI overhaul

If you are root You can use unicon to change icons with stock launcher.

Using unicon, this is the stock launcher
Please somebody help me, have been "playing" with my s5 mini, got the Rom exactly as I want it with add on bits from wanaam and graphics from omega droid amongst others, few bits I really want to keep ie rooted xposed fram works etc etc
