[Q] dsp manager - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a dsp manager for the note 4. I've tried viper4android but it doesn't have nice bass like dsp does.

Thanks for reminding me of dsp. Just installed it on my phone.
Yes it's working.
Here's what I did:
Download cyanogenmod apps from the playstore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cyanogenmod.apps1

Then use it to download the dsp manager.
Then install the dsp manager.

-Download DSP manager, is the only forum look.
-Upload it to system / app using root explorer
-Give the uperwnienia: rw-r-r
-Reboot and you have installed DSP manager.
But let me tell you that if you have installed "music fx" you do not need DSP manager ...

Try Root Toolbix on the Play Store. It installs everything you need.

DSP Manager

Hi. Is there anyway CM DSP manager can be installed to the stock but rooted JellyBean? I find DSP is much better than the stock equalizer and other equalizer apps cuz it has the virtual stage thing and it works really nice with my buds.
I have DSP manager installed, no root and on JB. I'll send you the file. PM me your email. Or Google it and download it.

[MOD]Fully working dsp manager for stock based roms.

This tutorial can be applied to any rom for s5830i.All you need is a rooted phone. No int.d support required.
we all know that dsp manager can be installed to our phones.but it does not greatly boost the quality of the sound.thats because our phone has some preinstalled sound libraries that donot fully support dsp..so now we have to follow the steps below.
1.download any root file manager.
2.go to system/lib/soundfx/
3.there must be three files..delete them.
4.now unzip the soundfx.rar files into system/lib/soundfx/
5.remember you now have to change the permission of each file to rw-r-r.
6.now goto system/app/
7.paste dsp manager.apk there and change permission to rw-r-r.
8.restart your phone.
you will now have a fully working dsp manager.the presets in stock music may not work now..it is better not to change them again.apply your own settings in dsp now..
if you want still better sound.buy the volume + app from app store..it proves agreat combination with the cm sound fx.
credits to various tutorials in xda.
why is there no rply..did that work.?..or was it hard to understand.
At ankur there is lots of same post so . Some ppl will see and give u response

[Q] DSP Manager

Hey,
is there a way to replace the Stock Equalizer with DSP Manger?
And please don't post things like " Install App " it's not only the App to install.
PureXAudio is not the same, It's only working with Walkman app and not Play Music (Google) and I don't like the Sound Quality.
To get DSP working you need to edit the audio_effects.conf file in system/etc plus a few libs.
I suggest you take a CM10.1 zip file from fxp/cm and extract the neccessary libs from the respective folders

I just flashed KingBeatz audio mod from the one XL forums and it worked fine for me besides audio, kernel side sound fixed that though. Try it yourself, nand backup first though. Delete the sound enhancement APK from sony with root uninstaller (Free, market) to force dsp as default.
Thanks guys, I will give both of them a try.
I tried CM10.1 from FXP but the bass is really horrible to compare my Arc with CM9 from FXP.
Then I tried Paranoidandroid it was a bit better then the CM and PureXAudio.
So I hope I find a way to move the lib and config files from my Arc DSP to Z DSP.
