Android 5.0.1 battery status question - G 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello I just updated my moto g us unlocked [XT1604] to android 5.0.1 and I'm curious to see how long my phone has been off charge but the new battery status in the settings only shows the approx time remaining..
How do I find out how long my phone has been off charge like it KitKat?

I recomend you to install a third party app called BetterBatteryStats, if you want a better overview about battery informations.

Try the Snapdragon Guru app on the play store, it's fantastic combined with stamina mode.

Uh oh, Sony patched up the software to prevent access to App Ops.
Those apps just open the menu. They don't control anything. The hidden menu is gone.

When I was on .257 monx rom I got about 2 days total usage and 5-7 hrs on-screen time, now on .290 in generic stock, and rooted and busyboxed with doomlords kernel I get like 1 day total usage and 3-4 hrs on-screen time, that's lame coupled with worse bluetooth audio and ram bug, waiting for another update

After upgrade to 4.3 my battery drain overnight with wifi/3G/data/sync off, only 2G on, is very bad: before upgrade I had 2% in 8h now it is at least 0.5% per hour
I believe the problem to be google localisation services: please see my thread below

[Q] Battery drain

Greetings,
I buyed my Moto X 4 days ago. I had the Motorola Moto G before the X and I was able to archieve a good battery life with the G, with ~5% of battery consumption over night. With my Moto X it's a different reality... I'm getting almost ~20% of battery consumption over night, and that doesn't seem normal. I'm running the stock 4.2.2, with a minor update. Is there anyone that can help me with this?... I have the touchless control on, data and wifi off... autosync of my gmail, calendar and contacts. I really don't know why I'm losing so much battery over the night.
Thanks in advance.
Check location. If you have Google location services on, you'll murder the battery.
I was getting bad battery for a while until I turned them off.

Thanks for the fast answer!
I can't find where is the location services. I search in the options and there's only the Location Access option (without the menu that's on your photo). Would you tell me how to get there?
Thanks agains!

Better Battery Stats - Not Showing CPU States

Hey everyone,
...as described in the title. Any idea why Better Battery States isn't showing me the CPU states?
Want to be able to see if this phone is properly going to sleep or not.
This worked fine on the S4 and Z1. It is my first day with the HTC One.
Thanks
Also, the phone isn't going into deep sleep. ffs
Here we go again. lol
Do you have root? Are you on a Kit Kat based rom? The app description on the play store store points out you have to have root in order to get full functionality in Kit Kat.

[Q] Battery Drain Kitkat Razr I

Since updating to kitkat on my Razr I, the battery life has become quite poor. Does anyone have any tips to increase battery life, it seems that whatever app I use, drains battery! I normally run my phone on the lowest brightness, no Bluetooth, no location services or anything like that with just wifi or mobile data on (never at the same time). Currently at 85% in 35 minutes. Thankyou!
i deactivate fast dormancy

Galaxy K zoom extreme battery drain

Hi all,
Just bought a Galaxy K zoom. It is fresh out of restore to factory settings and there is no root.
Problem is the battery drains TOO fast.
Without a SIM card, with WiFi and location always ON, it lasts about 24 hours. Without using it at all, that is.
I find this to be unacceptable. Do you think smth is wrong with the phone?
Any suggestions?
Thank you very much in advance.
I will get mine tomorrow, so can't say anything yet. Maybe check in battery settings what is using (which app or system app) mostly battery and then maybe install greenify to stop apps run when not needed.
